"Honey i tried to appease the spirit in the washing machine myself instead of calling the tech priest but i did it wrong and now it's really mad"
enker26 Ah that's a shame. angering the sacred washing machine's spirit, typically results in IMMEDIATE termination and/or transformation into a servitor
Aren't they servitors already?
enker26 Your left socks will forever be sacrificed in every wash now to appease it.
Funny story a friend of mine was staying in a big house with about 6 roommates and he was always having problems with the washing machine. He could never get the loads to balance and even called a repairman out more then once before he finally found the real cause of the problem: one of his female roommates had sabotaged the washing machine to make it slam around so she could ride it with her... "marital aid"
Yes the 'washing machine', is that what he calls it?

Kinky little machine spirit ain’t it

I love it, if I were born in the 41st millennium... I would be ecstatic to be an Adeptus Mechanicus or something similar!
@@_REVERIE we'd all probably be guardsmen/women
As someone who works manufacturing I was surprised to hear small details like them inspecting part quality and making adjustments. In CNC machining this would be considered checking to see if your parts within tolerance and then adjusting offsets to correct it if it's not. Ironic that I often imagine myself working on Mars when at work. The machines running is actually very relaxing and familiar once you do it long enough you miss it. Favorite machine I ever ran was a big roller former and when it would cut the part to length at the end it made a nice clank sound and made the ground shake also on a side note guys always wear your safety glasses and ear plugs. Cuz losing an eye or having your ears ring isn't something you wanna risk. PS. Wear your dam steal toes even if it makes ur feet sore. :)
I also work in CNC machining and have been in many factories, I consider my favourite sound to be like when you are machining a piece with a huge tool idk the vibration you can feel the 10 or 20 HP of the machine and the metal comes nicely in perfect hot metal chips
I'm not a CNC guy but I use ag tractors and the machines being satisfying is completely true, perfectly changing ranges on a 4350 has few comparable feelings.
I was born with tinnitus lol
I see we have some pious followers of the machine god here
I work in a glass factory and shit like this makes me think 'how would the imperium make glass? Wil it be similair to what I am doing?' and besides that factory work depending on what you need to do can be pretty fulfilling but don't be like the 80% at my job and not wear safety gear
It's just... the non stop thrumming of millions of cyber dongs against the hulls of countless toasters. The noise... It never ceases. Praise the Omnissiah.
Mars: the main producer of cyberdongs.
This guys knows whats up.
OneMindSyndicate If the kroot eat a toaster will they grow cyberdongs?
This is a discovery as valuable as any STC
ITS A SIGN FROM OUR LORD ON TERRA!! EVERYONE MUST GO FUCK THEMSELFS!!
AND TOASTERS!!!!!
But toasters are divine ancient artifacts...
Is there anything in WH40k that is not a total hellhole?
ShepardCZ yes. Life with the tau
Anything in Ultramar
Probably some backwater, low populated farmworld, the downside being that if they get attacked there are almost minimal defenses due to small value of such worlds.
a tau world
I mean, Paradise worlds exist, even in the Imperium. If you're lucky enough to be born on one, or be an imperial noble, you're set for a pretty nice life, especially for the Imperium. They often aren't of great strategic value, since they're not too different from Earth as it is now, so you aren't likely to be attacked by anything either
The Tau empire has Paradise worlds which are basically retirement homes for decorated Fire warriors, once they have served long enough in the Tau military
Never played W.H.40K but few years back had a friend who did, was always interested but never past asking him the odd question about it. Came across this channel a couple of days ago, have watched a few videos so far and really enjoy it!! I find the lore and the expansiveness off the world and all the different characters/life-forms extremely interesting!! Will definitely watch more. Awesome channel, one of the best I've found lately!! Cheers, good work
In 40k lore are machine spirits real, or are they just the Imperium's way of explaining the workings of the pre-dark age technology that they don't understand?
Kj16V from what I’ve read about machine spirits(its pretty vague) machine spirits are sentient AIs that are loyal to whoever treats the well, which is why the Admechs do all that special shit. An example being a Titan that was infiltrated by orks during its storage/construction, needless to say the machine spirit of the Titan freaked the fuck out and murded everything after it’s rude awakenings, realizing it couldn’t be free of the green skins, it overloaded its reactors and Cherynobled itself
I know i'm 7 months late but anyway.
Machine Spirits are basically the middle between AI and VI. From what I understand they are basically intelligent as a AI, but they are limited to act along the lines of VI, because of the paranoia in the Imperium again'st AI.
The reason the Imperium of Man is so dark in the first place ,it's because of a AI revolt that fucked up everything in the Golden/Dark Age of Technology.
Calling these AIs, Machine Spirits it's just sort of a loophole.
Wrong. The machine spirit is the thing in real life that for inatance betters the odds for something to happen if u want it with the right energy.
Example, almoust all of the ork weapons shouldnt work technologicaly but they do when in the hands of the orks because they believe they will, but will not operate bt any other species. Example of this in real life: Double slit experiment where light particles interact diferently with 2 openings they are shined upon if someone is witnesng the experiment.
Basicly warp says: If enough people believe in it it gets real. Thats how a machine spirit is born even in something as "mundane" as a boltor. Same principle for the orkz - 10 orcs won't have any technology, but get 1000000 orcs and bam warp engines, since they believe in that shit.
@@Профет-о1ы Wrong, the Ork weapon work because when they were created by the old ones, the Ork were given unconcious memory by the Old Ones on how to make things similiar to a baby know how to cry when were born

0:35. There are very few "Imperial citizen" on Mars. Mars is an ally of the Imperium, and as such their organization is separate from the Imperium. Though they cooperate closely... most of time.
are phones now considered to be sacred technologies by the martians in 40k
only iphones.
OneMindSyndicate heresy the empire uses android 7
Both of you are wrong, they use Windows phones.
Pretty sure the nokia 3310 is the strongest phone of the imperium
What are these ”phones” you speak of
The more lore I learn the more I think everyone just needs to dial it back
Mars is one of the most fascinating part of 40K. So close to humanity, yet so alien and inhuman.
When you're at work and the photocopier starts to malfunction, so you start to bargain with it is the modern equivalent of being a tech priest.
Question/Suggestion: What are the best Planets to live in? Or what does it really mean to be "born lucky" in Warhammer 40K?
Looking at Mars now, Necromunda is starting to look more like a safe Haven lol. Just my opinion though
Mars is a toxic wasteland filled with cultists. xD Is that good...?
Bravo! 👏 That was a very well worded reply
That aside, I don't know. Maybe it is 😂😂😂
Royalty on a water world. Your above everything and most things can’t swim
the best place to live would be a pleasure world, and being born lucky in 40k means being heigh born. We made a 40 facts video on highborns or noble borns but basically you are royalty and can do almost anything as long as you don't piss off an inquisitor or highlord of terra.

that would be pretty boring. Work from 7 to 4, come home and read or prepare a script, film, edit, upload and go to sleep.
OneMindSyndicate Make something up! Say something ridiculous like: "2 hours praying to the machine god of the coffee machine. 4 hours scribing sacred texts of the Imperium on the computorium. Followed by 2 hours watching heretical Eldar porn on the internetorum..."
Did anyone notice mean machine from judge dreadd
You don notice Mean till he telz ya ta notice him. gorrit? or he go'z up ta 4 on yah.
Yeah he uses somewhat related Images to show a point
Also saw the Spirit of Fire.
Yep lol
Holy heck, muh dial's stuck on 4 an' a half! I'm goin' into an uncontrollable butt frenzy!
I literally love this planet!
It is a paradise of tech!
Hell I would not mind any of the noise, I would sleep in a factory just to hear the mechanical harmonies!
I would love to be an exploratory tech priest, from mars!
This is my dream world, hell compared to most imperial worlds, mars is a paradise, and hiding knowledge deserves blood to be spilled!
You and me both, brother!
I was a CNC operator once upon a time this is basically a machinists hell if I died during that time and had a crazy DMT trip because of that fact id probably find myself in a place that's been described here. Lol I'm from Chicago too I love that steam punk sorta vibe it's got in its industrial areas
I appreciate the effort you put into immersing me into the city. That was really cool!
glad you enjoyed
I like this lore.
You gave good reason why people still like living on Mars despite the difficult environment.
Suggestion : Necron Lords and what they do from bronze to platinum.
The Mechanicum is the only actual path for mankind to bend chaos to its will.
Dark Mechanicum. *Cough cough*
What about all the Guevesa and their greater good
They are already under control from a warp beign via the Etherials arent they ?
OneMindSyndicate That's ironically a good way, since the Gueve'sa have way more liberties than the Tau themselves, due to being considered as second-class citizens.
But how can the Tau philosophy overcome big threat in the warhammer universe? And by "Big" I don't mean the war of dakka (wich is a big deal threatening to destroy a Sept and all), but something like Hive Fleet Leviathan. I don't think the Tau would nuke their own worlds to stop the Tyrannid advance, like Inquisitor Kryptman did. And not just beacause they have few worlds, but even if they were the size of the Imperium I couldn't picture them doing it.
To be fair, they do have a pretty good military. Though as of right now I believe they arent big enough to take on the NIds.
Chicago = mars
Sweet Home Chicago :)
Ummdustry
Or Essen a hundred years ago
would the machine spirit have a warp presence since so many worship it so intensely?
Those are questions to be asked. Now we must seek for answers..
The Mechanicus believes, at least openly, that the Emperor is the manifestation of the Omnissiah made flesh. So praying to the machine God is praying to the emperor for all intents and purposes.
@@patrickturner6878 depends, a lot of authors have written that quite a lot of the admech doesn't particularly believe in the emperor being the omnisiah, but to voice such brings damnation from their own kind who may also think the same.
@@AsbestosMuffins It better does, such heresy is not to be tolerated within the Imperium!

I found that quite amusing to. lol
Especially when he mentions street corners, because it isn't like that extreme. He also mentions the keywords - "Monday - Friday" If go down to the Loop on a Sunday it looks dead at times definitely not as busy as the weekdays and sometimes Saturdays and Friday evenings aren't that busy either.
ROFL!
I like that view of modern augmentation for urban living. I have seen similar things with people who take the bus here, choosing more comfortable shoes for the journey to work, then switching to dress shoes after their ride. Thank you for the new point of view.

Dude, when did we stumble into Stallone’s Judge Dredd
Besides extreme violence, cannibalism, incest, and daily execution.... Pogs seems to be a thing

Litterally the best sci-fi/fantasy universe, not even a competition.
FiveRingsBass Basically never read any good books at all, it seems...
What? its sucks ass. You limit yourself by "everything must be brutal and awesome"
Whats interesting about that? How many stories can you actually tell that way?
one must have the emotional range of a 12yo boy in full puberty to be excited by this

4:06 Mean Machine Angel from 2000ad, he only Served his family, and mostly his paa.
I've been consuming these vids like crack, and I gotta say, mars is the coolest planet and has the coolest factions so far.
Question: So it's my understanding that Ol' Papa Nurgle makes tests diseases by infecting Isha with them; Is there one that isha hasn't cured yet,and failing that what took the longest time to cure?
Nurgle's rot is meant to be totally incurable.
IDK Isha is literally magical, so who knows.
jack cf But doesn’t Isha give mortals the info to cure nurgles diseases?
short answer is no, long answer we will talk about on next episode of the Greater WAAAGH
What about crotch rot?
15:00 that sounds alot like Seattle. People wear some weird and random things to work, especially the fitness nut who bike or jog to work. When it rains (which is all the time) you'll see office workers biking to work, I've seen guys riding like a banshee over to their building and take off their rain gear to show that they're wearing a suit underneath. That actually some of the most normal stuff you see in Seattle... Seattle's fuckin weird bro, people say Portland is the weirdest city but I think that Seattle is pretty close. There's a whole series of events called the "World Naked Bike Ride Seattle" and a bunch of other similar events that involve naked marathons through the city like the Naked Pumpkin Run. There's also some really weird gay pride marches/parades all the time.
You really do a great job with this stuff. I'm not even into WH40k and I like your vids.

Late gang where you at? 😂😂
This channel use picatures from other sci-fi-fantasy as well. According to the picture on vid about Titan princeps, apperently controlling a Titan require bacta and medical droid from Star wars
I absolutely love the way you narrate the videos
Is there any part of the Imperium that doesn't sound like an oppressive nightmare ?
50 Shades Of Bacon not really, they’re are a lot of good parts if you read some of the books, but the whole idea is that without all this suffering, without all the dead and tortured souls, humanity would cease to exist and the entire galaxy would fall to chaos, tyranid, and ork.
Imperium Secundus/Ultramarine empire is a pretty OK place when not being invaded by the Xenos and heretics.
This SpaceX thing has really achieved some results!
Thanks for the vid. It really reveals alot of what the w40k fictional universe is about. Super grimdark imo.
Now I know where doctor octopus is inspired from, his arms had a self of their own
3:33 so CNC Machinist 1's make up the majority of the population and they have cyborg zombies to do all the cleaning. Badass.
I especially loved the artwork of this.

Fantastic, evocative and interesting entertainment !!! Thank you for your efforts !!! ;)
Question (or maybe suggestion): Could you do a ranking of primarchs? Like obviously Lorgar is the weakest, Angron is up there at the top, but where would you put generic primarchs like Guilliman or Lionel, who don't really have any specific mutations or particular strengths? Also how much would the balance change after the chaos corruption? Like, Lorgar who ascended to Daemon Hood - would he no longer be the weakest? Would love to see some of your guys personal thoughts, sorta like a podcast, rather than facts.
Exactly man. I'd love to watch a video with a bunch of dudes and gals discussing it for like an hour, including the particular details of how to rank. And I'm not sure why you say Russ destroyed Angron in the battle of the legions. Didn't it come out as a sort of tie, since Angron did not stop the butcher nails implantations, nor did he return to Terra? Also, what do you mean by Alpharius trying to "convince" Dorn? As far as I'm aware, Alpharius almost killed Dorn, but one of the Imperial Fists saved him. Also I think GW screwed up a bit in the lore, since space marines are described as almost gods compared to humans, almost infinitely stronger, just like the primarchs are compared to the space marines. Yet Luther somehow defeated Lionel, despite not even being a full marine. I know he was Lions teacher, but I don't think that's enough. I dunno man, I don't think this needs a definite answer, but rather just a bunch of speculation, which can be fun.
Damn fam, I had no idea you read warhammer books and shit. Very interesting points, thanks for bothering to respond. My knowledge about Luther is limited by wikipedia and the video from 40k Theories, but I was convinced that the older humans like Luther were somewhere in between a regular human and a regular astartes in terms of strength, since despite all the treatments they could never become one due to age. I think the 40k universe has a lot of great story potential, but it is sort of lost, due to them also trying to sell models and as a result not willing to do insane plot twists. Like, the current situation with Calgar is very intriguing. Hopefully the story doesn't focus on the big chapters and sheds some light on less popular ones, like the Salamanders, Raven Guard and etc.
Dude, Calgar is the chapter master of the Ultramarines
I don't know where you got your info on Cypher, man. Could you name the source?
Great channel man, the whole collection, it's amazing!!!!
Interesting lore. Seattle always has traffic jams even in the middle of the day during the week. Lots of people just sitting going nowhere. Always busy, sounds similar as well.
Always wanted to visit, maybe will one day.
OneMindSyndicate's comparison could be used with any major city such as yours. He could've used New York City or LA or an international city like Moscow all three of those cities have huge traffic problems and comparisons could be made when comparing Mars in 40K
10:25 I didn't realize that the UNSC was part of the imperium.
That is an interesting observation about a daily life of someone on the city
You wouldn't terraform planets to be like Mars. You'd Marsform them!
Soooo, The question is? Which is the best planet to live on, when you are a citizen of the imperium?
ultramar or a paradise world.
@Pipi Land_Unlimited considering the fact that modt of the authrotiy resides in there, it would be more oppressive and abusive than most other places, especially with the ecclesiarchy being around.

I'm not really into the WH40K miniatures game (mainly because painting looks so long and complicated) but there are 2 factions that could make me change my mind. Adeptus Mechanicus and Necron.
Mean machine angel is judge dredd but, I'm not going to complain, you can't not think of him when talking about augmented humans.
Question: Looking at Overlord Vect, we know it's possible for a Drukhari slave to become an Archon or greater. My question is: can a human slave become an Archon, or anyone more valuable in Dark Eldar society than a feast, servitor-level slave, or a gladiator?
Have the imperium lost the knowledge of how to make titan warmachines, and the greated battleship-types, or can they still produce those?
orks are never stressed out with their lives compared to oomies and eldar the life of an ork isabsolute bliss
"We love the LORD and we talk about the LORD a lot, so subscribe."
Dude- Mean Machine Angel! What’s he doing on Mars?
It does seem as though being a citizen of Mars is a bit better than being a standard imperial citizen, despite the standard horrors and risks of t41st millennium living.
I like the old lore where they read and recite instruction manuals or blue print.
As a suit who wears running shoes to work, I do it mainly so I don't wear out expensive dress shoes & thus save money
Im in Chicago too!!!! You do great work on here friend! Keep it up!
Should monopolize the toasters, sell it to the mars fellows at a high price
Seems to be the best place for a regular citizen in the 41st Millenia
Actually, here's a question, where do the candles come from? I don't see any bees for wax, its it plastic? Are there massive supply chains that span the imperium for candles? Or is there something else at play?
I think it might be from human fat.
