I always loved their vehicles in the old Star Wars Battlefront game, especially Hellfire tank. So fun running over clones while spamming the missiles
Or you can play as a clone and if can manage to hijack a hailfire you can mow down battle droids instead.
@@CloneScavengerVulpin8389 a true hero of the Republic.
@@CloneScavengerVulpin8389 Nah killing living things is way more fun
@@gaijoobles8705 yes
I *LOVED* the Battlefront Hailfires, but I hated how the rockets veered off almost immediately after firing. Made the rockets useless unless you're right up next to an enemy
Still insane how close to perfection clone wars era vehicles were, and the empire is just abysmal, in their dropships alone let alone all the rest
The Gunship is one of my favorites: intelligent, heavily armed, & carries its own troops.
And a Voice to boot.
"BY YOUR COMMAND"
Loved the Battlestar Galactica reference.
It's like an unmanned hind
I’ll say it again. Geetslys is the authority in Star Wars lore. Top notch video as always. The level of detail is insane, sometimes it’s hard to believe these vehicles don’t actually exist.
Right?! Like insane that second tier channels like Stupendous Wave has a million more subscribers. Geetslys doesn’t ramble or repeat or add unnecessary things like those channels
@@Deberber Promote Geetsly's channel where appropriate, then?
I would say him and Eckhartladder are close in being good at the lore and delivery.
Hellfire droids should have bee used as defensive weapons mobile to set up in place also for anti Aircraft like sams
I will say that despite my loyalty to the Clone Army, the CIS did have some unique equipment and other things that I'm surprised the Rebels didn't reuse during the Galactic Civil War 👀
If the Rebels used CIS weapons, it would have been a PR disaster.
They cant, because lucas film wasnt able to projekt it back in 1976.
The rebels did use them, in a smaller scale however...
@@ChannelBerpindah I assumed he was talking about after the movies or in-between them, but a fun fact is that Obi Wan mentions the Clone Wars to Luke in A New Hope
@@TheTrueMr.Chickenthat is true, but the origin of the clone war was supposed to be from the type of situation that arises in any story involving being cloned.
"Who is the original?"
"Are the clones evil?"
"How many people were cloned and/or replaced?"
That kind of conflict. It wasn't expanded into the Clone War as we know it until the prequels were created. Personally I prefer what we got, because the clone wars was my favorite period of star wars content.
-Geetsly "Sheer Utility."
*video shows Mace Windu casually crushing the AAT with a blast door*
Kudos for relating space opera to our reality . Well done , good job . You lot deserve a promotion .
1 hour video about separatist vehicles is diabolical… THIS IS PART 1 ⁉️
You mean impressive.
@@eddieram435impressive that I was interested for that long about SIX star wars vehicles
Insanely cool you mean! Such great work and research! Bring more like this
the CIS had very logictical ships, while they lacked the creative capabilities a organic operated vehicles can provide at times, like with the vulture, HMP, and Hyena, it's not about quality, it's about quantity, and the HMP was especially deadly
It would be interesting for the Rebel Alliance having modified Separatist ships to host the majority of their organic staffs
@@isaackim7675 One reason why is because if the rebels did, they'd look more like terrorists since the CIS were the major bad guys throughout the clone wars and people would be more supportive of the empire than
@@LoneWolf20213 your right plus the Emperor could create a correlation between both the Rebel Alliance and CIS coming from the outer rim and just call them CIS remnants making the Rebels situation worse
@@jeambeam3173 logistically, having droid help would be amazing for manpower, but politically, after the clone wars, it would only make more people more suspicious of the rebels
@@jeambeam3173 IIRC, Palpatine actually did give a speech to the Senate at one point referring to the Rebels as Separatists. As such, it makes sense that the Rebels didn't want to play into that perception by relying on battle droids.
I love this, Droids and Vehicles are so interesting to me in Star Wars. I'm going to have show this Video to my nephew since he's just getting into Star Wars himself.
The separatist have the coolest military weapons and vehicles they are My favorite
I agree
Agree!! Waaaayyy better than those Republic Dogs!!
The vulture droid is terrifying to me. Capable of both being a fighter and a landable weapons platform. Powerful as a ground support hybrid weapon.
I remember staying up at 10pm when I was 7 just to watch Clone Wars on Cartoon Network where I first saw the Malevolence being introduced. As a kid, it shocked me (and still continues to) on just how destructive this ship was.
If the Empire had ships designed to completely disable enemy fleets, most of the Rebel Alliance fleet probably would have been destroyed or struggle to combat it
The Banking Clan will sign your treaty
I loved playing the Star Wars clone wars GameCube game with multiplayer with my siblings and my sister would always choose the hailfire droid, but as long as she ran into my brother first and we managed to keep her from resupplying she was a sitting duck. That resupply problem was no joke.
The hailfire droid tank was my favorite weapon in the cis arsenal it's a shame it wasn't used that much during the clones wars
Seemingly only the first battle at Geonosis.
@@RUclipsViolates1AIt was also used in the latter stages of the the outer rim sieges iirc
This Video is Perfect, Thank you keep up the good Work!
I wish we had a the clone wars from Separatist pov
Very awesome video respect dude.
B1 Battle Droid, “Uhhh…Sir? The Jedi is hear. And he looks very unhappy! No! NOOO!” (Gets sliced)
There should be a Star Wars game where you can get a B1 as a companion 😂
Please do a video on cis navy ranks and structure
Yes would be epic
If the Empire kept the AAT and the B-X Battle Droids as a part of the Imperial Army and Stormtrooper corps the Galactic Civil War would have been way different than It was. CIS assets were generally cheaper and efficient, trashing them outright was a huge mistake, 10 AATs are way more efficient than an AT-AT or AT-STs.
AT-STs are actually pretty good. Their ability to travel in all types of terrain was OP
The AT-ATs whole purpose was intimidating resistance. Wasn’t made for a out war with the rebels. After the destruction of the CIS there wasn’t an army that “should” of posed a threat to the empire
Droids deserved better :(
Playing Jedi Survivor and the Clone Wars references are just too amazing, so much nostalgia.
Hailfire Droids kinda look like Tsar Tanks.
A hour of geetsly yes please. Always loved the CIS military the most besides the clone army so many different types of droids was so cool
So Glad i found a channel solely dedicated to kitbashing. Also your painting is smooth to.
It’s kinda cool how many recreations of space engineers recreations are shown in this video
I love these
That face is incredible
Imagine hearing low and then high booms only to see a glowing red face in the sky shooting at you
Great analysis and attention to detail as always!
I love using the Hailfire droids as close range artillery behind armor in EAW, wonder why they never tries using them as support.
Quality work once again. Good work guys.
Good timing i was rewatching a few of these cis breakdowns yesterday
Thanks for the video!
Now this is epic
Babe wake up, time for a hour of CIS droids
Yes Honey 😞
Gavin?
Has anyone seen Gavin?
Gav!!
I'm sorry, what?
Please make an empire engineering database video! Great content as always!
I hope they continue bringing back these awesome Seperatist Forces in the next Jedi Game theire are so many more awesome Droids and Vehicles to be re used by the Bedlam Raiders
Loved fighting B1s, Magna Guards, Droidekas and Commando Droids imagine fighting a walking mode vulture droids and Crab and Spiders Droids or reflecting and re directing the Hellfire Tanks Rockets.....ahhh i can dream
That was great
the Bedlam Raiders, used HMP Gunships as troop haulers from their Lucre Hulk on Koboh
Loving the separatist videos! ❤️
The more I think about it, if the separatists waged a real war against the republic, Dooku would have won. His forces were almost completely automated. The cost of feeding, housing, and treating injured soldiers would have eventually bankrupt the republic. Not to mention the cost of replacing killed clones.
Nice video. Will their be a part 2 of this list?
Oooh shiny!!! 😯
Well done, surely the rebel alliance and Empire next?
If you need deadly war machines call up Chaor Chall Engineering it seems. They gotchu,
I always thought that Vulture Driods were tough af
I love how the bad guys in Star Wars have the decency to give their ships names like "Malevolence" just so it's never unclear that they are, in fact, the bad guys.
look out, this guy loves clankers
You should make a vid about the actual battle droids and clones
Would you consider doing a video series on the Lost Twenty sometime?
I know you guys do mostly clone wars but you should do rebel vehicles, and like unique rebel ones, not just salvaged clone war tech
Can you please do part 2 of this one and republic one as well
24:34
And the V wing
I can think of several great candidates from the Clone Wars PS2 game for the second volume.
41:23 "Star Wars Destroyers"
38:45 Is that an Atlesian Aircruiser? From RWBY? Awesome! Love those things!
FOR THE CONFEDERACY SYSTEMS!!!
Ah yes speeds of several thousand G’s my favorite unit of distance measurement
I think for the original Xbox battle front the aat is the best of all the ground vehicles in the game. But I am looking forward to hearing what you guys think.
Anyone else notice the RWBY ship in the Malevolence part of the video? xD
Man I want too see droids if they do more movies igs making droid fighters and making better brains .
The separatist gunships aka the droideka gunships.
Love me some seppies
By your command
The Hallfire droid highlights a recurring, baffling part of Star Wars/in-universe lore: completely nonsensical doctrine. That unit is basically an upjumped real life MLRS system, but it gets used as a assault unit rather than careful maneuvering battery/counter-battery operations. Honestly I get it, a lot of Star Wars tech is 'spectacle first' but when you break it down, so much of it makes little sense as actual military hardware used by militaries who...want to win. It reminds me of how despite having insane technology you see basically no over-the-horizon or BVR engagement with standoff weapons.
Its goal was to shock and awe an inferior enemy, it was never meant for „real“ combat. More against primitive planets who defaulted on their debts.
I wish the empire took the gunship and created an empire version.
Put a man inside it and the empire had a terrestrial gunship that could terrorize the rebels to no end.
As I see the clone wars technologies, I find myself on the side of the separatists :D
While it's very true that droid piloted craft can take turns no 'meatbag' pilot can survive, it has no real way to invent maneuvers aside from it's preprogrammed set. There's a reason Imperial and Rebel Aces dominated star-fighter battles after the clone wars, the advanced adaptability of organic pilots that can turn their enemies' own strengths against them. I wouldn't go so far as to say Droid piloted star-fighters have no role in a well curated fleet but I would definitely limit their role to high risk mission profiles with little or no chance of return. An organic pilot has the luxury of being able to learn multiple crafts' controls and roles but investing the resources to make droid brains as interchangeable would ruin the specialization of droid piloted fighters. Another strength of organic pilots exemplified by the Empire is that no matter how many factories for droid brains you build, there's always more humans in the galaxy than expensive pieces of specialized circuitry. A droid pilot can meet its performance standards but I've never seen a vulture droid get a commendation for beating the odds. However the most damning thing I can say about droid craft isn't a factor of who built it, or even if it could or couldn't be better than an organic pilot by every measurement. No the most damning thing about droids is specific to star wars... there's just no such thing as a droid with The Force.
Actually...Hondo brought them to Onderon..anakin procured the weapons but while ahsoka was helping the rebels there.
Why the heck are you using a Atlesian Frigate (I understood that reference) to show the size of the Subjugator Class? Why not a ship that exists in that universe?
I’m currently playing “Republic Commando” on my channel for the first time and it’s so cool! ☺️☺️☺️
Didnt the republic V wing out perform it?
The Techno Union is at your disposal Count.
All credit for these vehicles need to be diverted away from the Separatists and onto the Senate.
is it possible that you often mistake speed and acceleration? You often use term ,,speed of several thousand G´s", which doesn´t make sense, since G is unit of acceleratiom.
Roger Roger
CIS best faction.
Wont lie i don't think those tri fighters actually did destroy the resolute only badly damage
i feel like at lot of speed for ships in atmophere makes no sense star wars
This ship was great in the og battlefront two,
Good in their own right, but their looks and crudeness make me prefer them as reserve vehicles, not mainlines. Don't want to expand on how and why that's my opinion, but still, I don't want to lead a force of junk-lookers.
I seem to remember the blasters in the nose
Unrelated to this video but I'm still confused about the video where you explained that we all got the dark side of the force wrong. You mentioned species beeing corrupted by sith alchemy so they became naturally strong in the DS in a comment but what about entire planets? Wwas the dark side just strong there because of countless wars or so?
Yeah the Thing is the Republic was in a full on War while the Empire only had to control and inflict fear, the resisting Rebels never reached the intense Number of the clone army or the Seperatists droids, thats why they lost they underestimated the resisting force and only Relied on fear and control
31:22 hear me out
So this is the A10 warthog of starwars
I dont think g force even exist in space
That was briefly more advanced than an internerqtiobal to McDonald’s so that incident
Love vulture droids
