    I'm honestly a massive simp for the ARC-170. Aggressive recon is the name of the game if you can use it right.
    Shout out to anyone else that played the republic mod for Empire at War.
    I feel like the AT-TE was done dirty in the clone wars. Almost every walker was blown up in the same episode it was shown in. (Only exception I can think of from the top of my head was Anekin's use of them as boarding vehicles and deployment in the asteroid belt).
    Kinda wanted to hear about the Juggernaut too.

    A Victory, two Venator flanking it, three gunship variant Acclimators underneath for protection, and a varied array of Acclimator variants for starfighter and troop transport in a V formation consisting of 7 ships would be a very good setup in my opinion. Add some point defense corvettes as well for added protection. You could also send the Acclimators in as a way to soften up the target before coming in with the bigger ships to finish the job as the Acclimators are faster.

  • @fadelsukoco3092
    @fadelsukoco3092 Год назад +8

    The Acclamator seems like the "dwarves" of starship design. It was small, sturdy, hard hitting and while not the best at anything, you could count on it to put in all of its effort to get the job done, and Force have mercy on anyone who underestimated a force of them under a competent commander.

    Ok so I'm going to burst your bubble on the Venator being more crew intensive...so a Nimitz class carrier has a full compliment of 5680 crew, 3200 to maintain ship operations and another 2480 to maintain full flight operations...now a Nimitz can carry and operate up to 130 F/A-18 Super Hornets of the E, F and the EA-18G Growler varients...HOWEVER a typical carrier of a fully mixed air wing can operate 85-90 mixed aircraft of all types. Another caveat is that typical air wings on a carrier currently operate 64 aircraft...so you do the math. The Venator is actually undermanned for the over 400 starfighters it can carry.

    AT-TE and LAAT are some of my absolute favourite scifi vehicle designs ever. I know the obvious weaknesses of both, but they'd technically still be functional and useful. And they look so gd cool.

    • @essex3777
      @essex3777 Год назад +2

      I'm convinced that the designers actually observed true blue military vehicles when making the LAAT and AT-TE. Seeing as those two are the only semi-senible vehicles in all of Star Wars

    • @holmanthehorror6127
      @holmanthehorror6127 Год назад +3

      I disagree, at least for the AT-TE. There are so many design flaws that they wouldn’t be useful. That said, Star Wars is very good at creating the illusion of a realistic vehicle, with all the paneling and so on. And I think that it’s one of SW’s greatest strengths, they are very good at making a believable world.

    • @PTillA-kf7rq
      @PTillA-kf7rq Год назад

      I honestly don't see many weaknesses in them. The only problems I see with the At-te is gutting some storage racks in the back to put in some shields and perhaps two small quad laser cannons (like on the T2 B) on the top and the bottom in the middle to act as AA (anti aircraft) and AP (anti personnel), All the LAAT needs is some shields. Really it's hard to improve upon good designs.

    • @holmanthehorror6127
      @holmanthehorror6127 Год назад +3

      @@PTillA-kf7rq My guy, the gunner position is entirely exposed to small arms fire, the driver and spotter are encased in what amounts to a glass box welded in front of the tank, there is no tank commander, and way too many gunners (difficult to coordinate even WITH a tank commander). While the design looks very cool, and indeed fulfills that role flawlessly, looking at the AT-TE from a practical perspective, even ignoring the flaws inherent to a walker design, leaves the impression of a design that would be woefully inadequate to designs of the inter-war. That said, SW also came up with the idea of effectively bolting treads to the in universe equivalent of a zero and calling it a tank, so its competition isn't exactly strong.

      @@michaelandreipalon359 I don't know, sir. All I do know is that finale was just beautiful.
      All the characters fought hard and they stuck together and now their all happy together, which after such a hard fight and all that drama is how it should be.
      And I have hope with the fact that the Human and Demon Realms are now permanently connected that one day Luz and the gang will meet up with Anne, Marcy, and Sasha and help them find a way back to Amphibia. I mean will still have to wait a bit, since both shows happened mostly concurrently too each other, which means after the Owl House time skip of 4 years were still about 5 to 6 years away from the Trio reuniting in Amphiba's time skip, so they either won't meet Luz and the others until after that or if they do they won't have a solution until after that. But hey that gives King's powers and Human technology time to mature to be able to finally reopen the portal sometime after those 5 to 6 years.

    • @michaelandreipalon359
      @michaelandreipalon359 Год назад +1

      @@zexalbrony4799 The only thing missing on the distant finale is a spy, from either a newly founded US or UN Multiversal defense organization created after the Weirdmageddon and Frog-vasion, just observing the quinceañera and giving their superiors some good idea on what they -might- will confront by the time they have full-on expeditionary capability.
      Also, a bit of a shame the finale isn't with an adulthood time skip. Would have loved seeing either weddings and/or childbirth and childraising.

    • @zexalbrony4799
      @zexalbrony4799 Год назад

      @@michaelandreipalon359 Oh yeah, I can totally see that being a thing in this universe. Especially with how public knowledge all of this is becoming, I mean the Frog-vasion was broadcasted to a lot of people, all the witnesses, plus all the leftover robots, and now as shown by those photos in Luz's room after the time skip of the people of the Demon Realme regularly coming and interact with the Human Realm and the fact that Eda's school has a Human and Demon Realm exchange program it seems like at the very least the people of Graevsfeild if not more now know of the Demon Realm. And yet even after both these stories and the time skips where presuambly even more interactions between these worlds happen, people are still trying to claim Frog-vasion was fake as seen in the Amphibia time skip which happens after this time skip. It appears people in this Human Ream are dumb or just in denial.
      Okay, while I would have loved to see a Lumity wedding, I'm happy with this time skip, as much as I loved Amphibia's ending I felt the time skip was a bit to far. I'm more a fan of ending a story without a time skip, just having all the characters relaxing and celebrating right after their big adventure, that's what I love the most, but this time skip of only 4 years was a nice balance between what I love and a traditional long time skip, it's just enough time to show how things have changed but not so much that there aren't any new ideas for stories to be told before and after the time skip. Like we saw a picture of Eda, King, and Hooty playing baseball so I could totally see many from the Boiling Isles joining Luz and maybe a few other Humans in a game of baseball in Gravesfield.

    I don't know if you will be reading this but I'd like to see Geetsly make a new video looking into various vehicles and space craft from the clone wars Era would be the best fit for the rebel alliance and their fighting doctrine. Assuming they get most of them from stealing or making it with some remote small manufacturing facility I do think the acclimator class assault ship would fit really well with the rebellion. It is fairly large but still can land on planets and have an enormous cargo capacity. It is armed, well armored, and relatively cheap with crew requirement. It is also extremely fast which fits well with the fight and flight method of the rebels. Its main drawback of lack of starlight deployability can be made up via modifications or acquiring the models of acclimators that have a hanger. Basically unless it was extremely risky to aquire these ships or logistics not viable any rebel higher up who had an opportunity to aquire an acclimator but didn't was an idiot.

    Why did Lego decide to make a republic fighter tank? Did it ever appear in the Clone Wars?

    I’m just saying but it really doesn’t make sense to me why the separatists have the better fighters. Surely if they have the better fighters then they would be seen as the group with the Venators with the republic as the group with the CIS ships.

    The Torrent was always my least favorite Star Wars fighter. It was always the one that made sit back and say Who built this? And where did they get their starfighter engineering degree a Cereal box? These ships are great only on planets, their design allow them in oxygen rich environments to turn on a dime, but in space. No. And they are just too big a target, because of the top foil they are just too easy to identify and attack on the sides. The z-95 and arc 170 really should've been out there at the start of the war. Not to big silhouettes, the arc also had a tail gunner a good feature for any fighter that's constantly going to be outnumbered by either a 5 to1 or 10 to 1 margin in any ariel conflict.

    I love the TX130 but the ATT was so much better I would take a rotating howzer cannon over a laser turret. And it looks more armored. That looks like a LAV. (Light armored vehicle). But compared it to an actual heavy tank the ATET I’ll take the ATET

    What speed? 4800 times the force of gravity??? That is no speed, that's acceleration at best.
