My Two Favorite Things At One Amazing Bangkok Event

- This was one of my most favorite days here in Bangkok. Of all the things I enjoy in life, these two things bring me so much joy in Thailand. There is nothing like cars, motorcycles and second hand markets that makes me this happy. To have these two things in one place just made my day. Mooneyes sponsored a Sunday morning ride and drive-in along with a vintage second hand market at the Srinagarindra Train Night Market in Bangkok, Thailand. Due to the heat, the event started at 6 am and was packed! So much Americana, hot rod, punk, and alternative vibes and goodies. Everything from hot rods, to JDM culture was present. I could not stop smiling as I walked around this market. I'm a simple guy, and these things just make me smile! Join me for a tour of the cars, bikes and second hand goods at this early morning meetup in Bangkok. I was delighted to find my two favorite things at one amazing Bangkok event!

The Thai people are so creative and love to customize their things in unique ways! Hopefully I also get to see some cool custom vehicles on the trip around the Philippines 🇵🇭 I have coming up! ✈️
The Filipinos love their Toyotas. I’m sure you’ll see all sorts of cool stuff as well.
Hot rod event is always fun and eyes opening. You don't need to be a fan (I mean myself) to enjoy. But you have a lot of knowledge about vintage things which makes you a great guide for a dummy like me.
Very happy to hear that you enjoy my miss-guided tours. Lol.
Royal Enfield now made new in India. Great vid. 🇦🇺🇦🇺👍👍
Yeah cool bikes.
Hi Serg , this video was excellent. I realy enjoyed it . And not to long. Perfect.
Glad to hear that!
Another interesting video. I must say you have such enthusiasm and pleasant manner.
It is a pure joy to watch your videos🙏
I get way too excited about cars, motorcycles, and dogs. Glad you enjoyed this video. 😂
Wow, that Buku zoku bike was so awesome. You find amazing rides everywhere you go and awesome locations.
Yah those are wild. Although it’s starting to get to the point where I’m seeing about 50% of the same vehicles when I go to new shows.
This was a real feast for the eyes. Loved seeing Royal Enfield The pride of India since 1948 although English origin.
Thanks for sharing Serg. As always Serg making videos on cars and motorbikes feels like a monopoly 😊
Yes, I know how popular royal Enfield is in India. I would like to go and try one here in Bangkok.
I loved the collection of old Toyota's and especially the 72. I used to see so many of these growing up but haven't seen one for years. My first car was an 85 Corolla hatch.
I’ve had a handful of Toyota vehicles. I think there’s some of the best built in the world.
@LifewithSerg my 85 was built like a Sherman tank.
It’s very nice event. 🛵❤
Yes so much fun
The El Camino was a 1959 Chevrolet. I just love 1959 Chevrolet. I had a 1969 Dodge Charger and I painted it up just like the car on the TV show. Even the rebel flag and General Lee and the O1 on the doors. Found some American mags for it and built a push bumper. The car is long gone, but I wonder if today if I would have had to remove the rebel flag today. At the time I didn't even know what the rebel flag stood for,,,,,,,,,,,,
The rebel flag was just the flag of the confederacy. Don’t let woke idiots try to revise history. That was a great show, you sound like you build yourself an awesome replica.
Thanks for sharing that's pretty incredible motorcycle and car p*** you just can't get enough of it the coolest thing I've seen lately was a ducati moped that was pretty rare but it wasn't for sale D*** i*
Couldn't agree more! Glad you enjoyed it.
Another great video! That cream color Mercedes with the red interior is pretty cool. Your knowledge of cars and motor bikes is really extensive.
I absolutely love machines, especially cars. I’m glad you enjoyed this video.
Haha that blue and yellow sun / moon blanket at 3:45 I had one exactly like that in the 80s I loved it! Your videos are very relaxing to watch. Thanks for the time you put into making them!
I’m so happy to know you enjoy my silly little videos. 😁
When you made the comment that you would take any of the Mercedes over the Mustang my first thought was, you must really like getting to know your Mechanic. I also love the old 60s European cars, I don't remember you ever showing a Volvo, are they rare there?
My first car was a 1969 Mustang, however, I’m just not a fan of any of the 90s or newer Camaros, Corvettes, or mustangs. There’s quite a few Volvos here. 240s, 840s, 960s, 740s, etc. But not many of the ones from the 60s or 70s.
I really think thats a 1970 charger r/t based on the side scoop. My brother had one, it was offered with two upgraded engines the 440 six pack and the 426 hemi. Nice to see one in Thailand.
Yeah the noses are different too. I wasn’t sure.
Wow, amazing to see the Charger here!
It was so cool!
I see CreamPai 😁
Yep. Chad was there.
Wow, amazing to see. From Sweden...
Thanks for watching!
Very cool
Glad yon liked it.
Oh no, I missed this?? 😮 this looks like an incredible event!
It was awesome. There’s tons more events coming up.
@@LifewithSerg How do you find these things? Would be good to know in advance - maybe meet you there at some upcoming events
@rogerwprice unfortunately, it’s pretty tough. After a year and a half of living here, I’ve got a couple of friends that forward me information. Otherwise, most of it is on Facebook pages, but sadly they are in Thai. So it’s not easy to find.
@@LifewithSerg maybe time to set up a Telegram group or something to share tips and tricks?
@rogerwprice if I do that, I’ll never have any time to myself. Lol
Great vlog
Glad you enjoyed
I thought it was also cool that you caught CB Media hahahhaa
Yeah just saw him rolling in. He got his car washed in the morning and then for some reason it wouldn’t start for 30 minutes. He thinks the starter is going bad. Fortunately, he made it.
This is such a fun event. My husband would love to visit this place. May be next time.😁 This gives me a James Bonds vibe. I know that´s a big demand on secound hand T shirt with brand name. A lot of cool items.
I wish I had spent more time of this event, but I left to go to another event. Glad you enjoyed it.
That yellow-white PU truck is Isuzu TFR spark EX (the next of faster z) bro.
Ah yes. My mistake.
Very cool show that, glad you managed to get down there! Loved the vid, when that ute made that noise which made you jump, sounded like one of those yellow toy chickens you squeeze hahahah how cool is that air ride ride on, nice! Cool that diner hasn't operated for quite a while now, good to see it up and running!
It was a great show, thanks again for the heads up!
@@LifewithSergYou're very welcome mate 🙏
Nice video Serg! That Hummer probably takes up the entire road on some of the smaller soi's here 🤣I used to own a Mazda B2000 pickup back in the day, it was a nice truck and served me well.
Yeah those Mazdas are great. I can’t imagine driving that Humvee down a US street.
Another gem Serg! Awesome content!
Glad you enjoyed it!
I hope you bought that Tamiya helmet because I would most certainly.
I completely forgot about it because I had to go to another event. Lol.
Very nice video and commentary. My biggest problem is looking for motorcycle or car t-shirts with Thai script on them and all they ever have is in English, the same stuff I can find at home (US). I enjoy your knowledge of bikes, a good counterpart to CB who knows JDM cars backwards and forwards but not so much about motorcycles.
You’re so correct, the Thai people want their motorcycle shirts in English. Lol. this was such a fun event.
Love the mini trucks so the Mazda B2500 is the one for me. In Hawaii we put the tiniest wheels possible, it's a thing. If I had a flag carpet I'd hang on the wall for sound damping. You have a great voice, have you considered professional voice over work?
Those Mazda 2500s are wonderful trucks! I would love to do voiceover work, have thought about it many times.
You should go for it, your voice is professional yet friendly and interesting. Many good videos on YT about how to get into the business

Royal Enfield has just launched the 2023 RE Bullet 350 single cylinder (Using an OHC for the first time in its history). That is the world's oldest continuously produced motorcycle.
The Classic 350 is actually a modern motorcyle paying homage to a variety of 50's Royal Enfields.
The Interceptor 650, the Continental GT, the Super Meteor 650 are all re-issues of motorcycles from Royal Enfield's historical catalog.
Thank you very much for all the information. I don’t know much about these bikes because they were never sold in the US.
@@LifewithSerg cheers! They were sold briefly in the US probably in the 50's and 60's. You wouldn't have seen one though. They were a small player. In fact if you go to a Royal Enfield store in BKK, you'll see that the new re-issued Super Meteor 650. They were originally made exclusively for the US export market (in the 50's).
You had a small cameo in CB Media’s video from same place 😂
Yep. I saw that last night. Lol
Love the vibe there...how often is this event held?
Lol. Looks like once a year. It’s really hard to find out about these events. Most of them are on Facebook, but they are all on Thai language sites.
@@LifewithSerg looks like I will have to learn some Thai language. Thank you for your response!
Wow soo cool mate i ❤ your video
Thanks! This was a great show.
The KAWI looks like a1979 Z1R
It might have been! Didn’t look close enough.
It's a really cool flea market. 😮😊🫰❤️
It was great!
Are you in Bangkok now? I just saw the news about the shooting in Bangkok. I was shocked.
Yes. That happened about 5 km from where I was shooting a video today. Very surprising. Very sad.
The W bike was Kawasaki w800 from the w series
Ahhhhh. I was surprised I didn’t see any Kawasaki markings on it.
Namastey from India ..... I hva a question nd a request or help is this event held every Sunday?
M visiting Thailand from 10 oct to 16 oct 2023 any upcoming events in bangkok ....
Thank u in advance
This event is held once a year. You’ll have to look at the Facebook groups for other events. Unfortunately, it’s not easy to find them, as they are all written in Thai on Facebook.
@@LifewithSerg thank u soo much man ,u took the time to answer me...
Thanks friend
love it
Yes it was awesome.
❤❤❤❤❤❤
😊
12:50 it's a Kawasaki w650 and Benelli impiriale 400 this bike is a new model made in china the price around 130000BTH 😁😁🙏🙏
That Benelli is made in China?? 😢
@@LifewithSerg yeah new Benelli is made in china but 800cc.++ is made in Italy. Made in china but design by Italian 😁😁
Hi Serge
I really appreciate your video
Can you please help me to find out best laundry washing product in thailand. The brand and the contact
Thank you
Glad you enjoyed the video. Laundry products?? Lol. Please use google, I can’t help you with that.
@@LifewithSerg for example if you can go in a supermarket like lotus at fortune tower.. was there in may but i didnt take there contact and cant find that on google' i want to negotiate for import' thank you
This vdo look like you are in "Jack rabbit slims" ha ha 😂
Ha ha ha.
Dont use halfface helmet.🙂 Save your nose and face if u crash. As. Somebody in Thailand says, take Good care of yourself...
That’s one of the reasons I still have a body open face. My 30+ years of riding motorcycles, I never owned an open face helmet. The one I have now is a modular helmet, but I almost always ride with it closed. I’ll take care of myself. Lol.
สวัสดีครับ🙏🙏👍👍❤🇹🇭
Hello!

I’m personally getting tired of these car and shopping videos. Hope it switches up soon. But hey it’s your channel so can do what you want!
Not to worry, more variety coming.
