Love your market videos! One of your long time subscribers from Nepal. I visit Bangkok once a year on average, and will be there in next week. Will definitely check out this market this time. Thank you for taking time to make this video.
As much as like your travels videos… I love a market. A Thai market is where I get my most pleasure from. I like that you include markets on your bike journeys. Great video Serg.
More 2nd hand market videos would be cool. I probably would've bought that NOFX shirt. Excellent band that I've seen a couple of times in Australia. Cheers Serg!
I just love your videos in general doesn't matter if it's just you getting lost, your epic bike journey or this i love watching it! Next time I'm in bangkok I'm visiting this place.
These vlogs are great fun Serg much to see . Great deals to be had if you get lucky . Friday is the day for sure .nice tip about looking for the occasional sellers. Me I like the old school electronic gizmos .
This was a great video. Quite an impressive market with lots of variety. I enjoyed watching it and would like to see more. It is very interesting seeing daily life of people in other countries. Thanks for posting.
Our local swap meet is lame, but our thrift stores have a lot of good stuff. I found a $2000 ice cream machine last week for $30 usd. My tips, go early, when I am selling, I am amazed at the people walking around at 10 am looking for bargains. the dealers bought the bargains at 8. Take cash, Bring small bills. Take a backpack, a magnifying glass, and do some research so you can spot fakes.
Awesome! Thank you, good tips and advice. I'm planning on moving to Thailand within a year and these flea markets are a good place to start to buy something for the apartment, plus I love buying Vans Shoes and rock & roll tshirts 😎
Serg! ty so mich for sharing your expertise! Its cool you're doing this, I've been thinking about buyung and selling online as well but wasnt sure how profitable I'd be. I enjoy finding nice pieces of clothing and gems~
😎👍🇺🇲 I have really great memories of the swap meets in southern California as a kid. We could run around all morning with a quarter looking for the perfect toy. If you had $.50 you were a king. 😆 Eventually they all turned into a Chinese knockoff resale mess. Hardly anything used. It was all car stereo speakers, cheep tools and no fun. Cheers brother. Thanks for sharing. ✌️

MY wife and I went Pattavikorn Market and I found this nude statue of a woman, but he wouldn't sell it without other things sitting next to it. We went back about 3 weeks later and the statue was still there, but there was another lady there, and she said she would sell it separately.. And a lot less than the first seller. So sometimes it pays to wait and you might get a better deal,,,,,,
Reminded me of a friend who used to shop at flea markets all the time. I went to his apartment one time and he had a big bowl filled with full size chocolate bars on a living room table. I asked if I could have one and he graciously said yes. I took one but when I opened it, the chocolate was faded, somewhat white. I said, "hey what's with the chocolate?"....He said that he gets them at the flea for 5 cents each because they were melted in the heat but that they're still good.....I passed.
😂 You sure that wasn't my grandma's house? She had the same Christmas candy in the same bowl for years. She said it looked nice so she would dust it off every year and display it. 😆
Hi Serg loved another market vlog I always find them stimulating In your travels have you come across a bike parts market Back in 2009 I lived at happy tower condo on suk71, I knew one of your countrymen and he took me to a night market where nearly all the stalls were selling secondhand vehicle parts mostly from motorbikes If you've seen one of these I'd be pleased to hear from you
If you’re talking about motorbikes, then Poon Sap market is where you want to go. It’s about an hour north out of Bangkok, but it is filled with motorbike parts dealers. Look it up.
Went to this market last month when visiting bkk , went Wednesday , Friday & Saturday, picked up lots of cheap vintage t shirts , cheapest was 10B, although the band t shirts some of them 1000/1500 B , as there was no prices it was dual pricing more for the farangs , also picked some cheap records very happy with what I bought , will return next time come back bkk
Yeah, it’s a great market. As far as the dual pricing, I’ve gone there with and without Thai friends, and personally, I have not experienced that, but I’m not surprised.
