- What's better than Serg getting lost alone? Bringing a good friend along. Join me as I go roaming central Bangkok with an expert condo agent. My friend Sebbi had some business ideas he needed to scout out so I joined him for an afternoon of walking around the main central area of Bangkok. Sebbi has not only lived in Bangkok for 11 years, he has also started two real estate agencies. This man knows the downtown area of Bangkok along Sukhumvit better than anyone I have met here. Together we will share some of our favorite reataurants, bars, hotels and areas in the popular Sukhumvit area of Bangkok. Sebbi shared the current cost of living in Bangkok, where new expats should move, and how much they can expect to pay for a condo along this popular area. There is always some mishap when I am out and about, and today was no different.

Your comments about the welder and the guy cutting metal, you had me LMAO!
Man I was like WTF are these guys doing… then I remembered we live in Thailand.
I loved that video! Love the walk around ones where I can feel like I'm there too. Keep them coming. Would also love a video where you search for healthy low carb foods. 😅
Healthy low carb foods…. This is Thailand. They a rare animal here. lol.
Go to the Gourmet Market in Emsphere. They have a full cooked meat and veggie spread that is affordable and excellent. It is right where they are walking around soi 33
Next time you're in Pala Pizza try the brie and speck pizza. Highly recommended. Thanks for the video Serg.
I have. It’s sooo good!
I enjoy your content. You seem to go places others don't go. Not really the "hidden gems" but just places that would be cool to check out when tired of going to malls and temples.
I enjoy exploring areas that most people don’t go. I’m glad you like this content as well.
Wow, a lot of great advice in this video. Dozens of little insights and bits of info that are super helpful and very interesting. I can really see living in Bangkok fulltime would be su much fun.
This was a very random day, but I’m glad you found some interesting points in this video
This was cool I was spewin it finished could’ve watched another hour! 😊I love when you tour certain areas, discuss food options etc, and include the prices. I mean everyone hoping to retire / move there is keen on prices of haircuts, meals, etc. just love these slightly out of tourist area exploring videos. You’re a living legend Serg. Keep up the good work! 2025 and I’ll be living there too yay!
I’ll do more of these. They are fun to make. 2025 will come soon Julie!
Thanks for all the info!
Glad you enjoyed it.
Thanks, enjoyed the content
Glad you enjoyed it!
Hi Serge, sorry I cannot find the clip where you ask for recommendations of palaces to visit on your bike trip to the south, so I'll post here. Try the Thale Noi area in Phattalung province especially the Thale Noi bridge - that will be an amazing bike ride along the northern part of the Songkla Lake
I have added that to my list. Thank you very much for the suggestion.
Thanks again for all the great info, staying on soi 20, so not to far down Sukhumvit.......Matt from scottsdale
Hey Matt! Hope you have a great time here!
Nice video Serg! The Phrom Phong area is nice, I like roaming around there. I haven't heard someone say 'hella' since I left the Bay Area 🤣
It was hella nice. LOL.
It’s a cute lil mall , It’s nice around that area. Asok is good loads of place to see . Soi 33 is busy I use to stay at the ambassador for a few nites easy to get around the city. I was gutted the huntsman bar and grill under the Landmark hotel closed after the situation a few years ago . Great food and music there. Please Serg a 7Eleven tour would be great !!!!!!! Really enjoyed this vlog my Mann have a great weekend.
Yeah, there’s lots of cool stuff to see for sure. I’ll have to do a 7-Eleven tour of all the strange 7-Elevens in Bangkok one day.
Hi Serg. I stayed in Soi 24 Phnom Phong area earlier this year. Nice area. Had drinks at Skyview rooftop bar. Nice video too
Yah that bar is good!
My thoughts on the whole medicinal stuff is that there is no changes yet. Just suggested changes.
Still needs to actually be voted for and implemented.
Yah, I think it’ll be very difficult for them to completely ban it. They’ve opened the gates, there’s not much to be done.
Well done. Thank you for sharing about Japanese area.
Thank you!
Informative vlog thanks …
Thanks, glad you like it.
Met my wife in the Old German Beer Bar. She was a waitress. Been together 8 very good years. The men working on the sidewalk, is classic. Laughing my butt off. On the other side of the street from the German Beer Bar, we, my future wife and I, were walking on the sidewalk, when I looked up at the hotel we were staying at, which is a major no-no when walking on sidewalks in Bangkok. I tripped on a piece of pipe still in the cement, and my body fell into a large bush. Lucky for me, it was there. However, it was a thorn bush and my arms took the bloody brunt of the fall.
Congrats, sounds like a great relationship. Sorry about your fall, that’s no fun. The construction in general here is extremely poorly thought out and executed.
Good video handsome!
Bear doing bear things. 😘
As usual great content Serg! Keep up the good work! I guess getting stuck in the elevator is the closest thing to Serg getting lost in this video. 🤣
Yah that’s was about it. Lost with Sebbi. Ha ha.
love love
Thanks!
I love Bangkok. When I lived in Tokyo, I would have this need to get away from the order and formality of the Japanese people, and Bangkok was my first stop. Great city charming and cool people considering the city has always been swamped with tourists. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.
Awesome, you’re most welcome.
Hi Serg. Ekamai - Prom Phong area was a packed haven of the Thai middle class and now the Japanese and a handful of Westerner expats jammed. Being not any tourism destination so the lifestyle is still quite Thai (of middle class). The more further towards the suburban (Phrakhanong - Bangna) the more the habitat of the factory workers / labors and former slummers wherein now jammed up by Laos/Cambodian/Burmese workers/labors. These areas are quite boring for not being packed with tourist attractive spots but they're full of livelihood in the modern Thai ways.
I actually like those areas. I don’t like touristy areas. The first year living in Asok was great, but after that, I just wanted out of there as fast as possible.
Cool vlog ❤
Thank you 😊
Lol the welders
That was just par for the typical lack of critical thinking here.
Yes do 711 tour
Will put it on the list.
Soi 11 has some nice rooftop bars: Pastel, Above Eleven, and UFO Rooftop Bar & Restaurant.
Yep, some great places.
pala romana is my favourite in bangkok
It’s sooo good!
3:18 YES!
Ok. Seems there is enough interest. Will do!
Elevator at Vanilla Sky Rooftop at Skyview likely doesn't go up to that floor or open until opening time. Some of the hotel rooftops are set up that way. I have been to Vanilla Sky - very impressive bar and fantastic views. The other rooftop bar at Skyview is a bit of a dud.
I’ve been to both several times. They are quite nice.
@LifewithSerg Have you tried Bar.Yard rooftop yet? I was really impressed with it. It opens early (at 4 PM) and the sun is behind you. Really nice from 4 pm to sunset. I also enjoyed Abar rooftop. Take care.
Hello Serg, I liked your videos. They are simple and straightforward.
I have a suggestion for you. I think you can share your life thoughts and experiences as you have seen many things in your life. These may be from your life when you were working for the American police or anything else.
Thanks
God bless. ❤
Thank you for sharing that. I have a couple of ideas for some radically different videos for my channel. Let’s see if I can make it happen.
Awesome Serg :D yeah the traps of Thailand is numerous and quite nasty XD once saw a gutter lid that was pretty much eaten up by rust with sharp edges, if someone where to step on it that would be a very very bad time.
Oh man it’s crazy. That hole on the ground had jagged rusted steel sticking out. The construction here is atrocious.
Side note: What beard trimmer attachment are you using ie 1,2,3,4,5? Looks great
Ahhh I don’t recall the numbers. I have 4 different sizes, I think I’m using the second smallest.
New sub,,,,,, like your vid lot of blogger's cant get the camera oway from their face please more about the surroundings thanks 😊
Yeah it’s always a battle to find a good balance. Thanks for joining the team.
The " medicinal stuff " wouldn't have been such a problem if the users had stuck to using it indoors and not in bars/ restaurants or on the street.
I have no problems with it being legal but lots of people really don't like the smell.
I agree. I don’t want to smell it everywhere.
My wife works at the SkyView Hotel
Oh yah. It’s a nice place.
yes, you have a good haircut
Thanks!
13:42 Cal/OSHA would like a word.
OMG, this country is like that everywhere.
Been in Bkk a week and your vids take on a new level of authenticity. Never stayed in Asoka and it’s a good way to burn through extra money.maybe 30% more than other areas.. Had my credit card hacked within 3 days , welcome to Thailand
Sorry to hear about your credit card. Hope you enjoy your stay! And yah, no fu*kboy shit on this channel. lol
2.43 " Bangkok Planetarium "
(Thong - Fah - Jum - Long)
Yes thanks.
Not a lot of tourist go to soi 33/1... this is the biggest concentration of British and Irish bars. Every brit and their gik will be there! Robin Hood, o'Sheas and the Royal Oak all on the 70 metre street
lol
Hi
I can’t see that well and don’t see your email address
Congrats on your new hood!
It’s in the description of the video.
Freaky hot these days, just be careful and drink alot water man
Hey buddy! Yes it is. We need to get together soon.
@@LifewithSerg Sure 🙏
7-11’s in Japan, and/or Korea, I’ve heard are supposed to have amazing and healthy & fresh foods! Not like in the states.. LOL
Yes, same here. Much better food quality than the 7-11 stores in the US
Prostitution isn’t technically legal in Thailand but you know how that goes. I think weed will be the same way, not legal but still there
Yep. No way they are gonna be able to ban it all now. Too much money at stake.
That pizza looks amazing. And I am not a big fan of pizza
It’s so good.
On a diet ehh? Thats some nice pizza 😂
I couldn’t help myself. Have not eaten there for over 8 months.
Who own the 7eleven storsis it American
CP ALL is the Thai company that owns the 7-11 franchise in Thailand.
Great edited video, But viwers want to see stuff go wrong.. not a lvely travel vlog,,, like 1000;s of oyjers! js
Ok. Thanks for watching.
hi..good morning from San Fran.. nice video walking around with your real estate friend.. I don't have the Line app installed.. could you provide his email or possibly whatsapp? i am coming to live in Bangkok and am planning to buy a mountain bike at the Bike Zone or Pro Bikes at Lumpini and just cover some ground.. my girl friend lives in Bangkok as well.
but please provide his other contact info as I am looking for a pet friendly place soon ..thank you from david d...
Email me and I will give you his info. My email is in the description.
Not much evidence of your diet Serg 😅😅😅
This day was a colossal failure. I hold Sebbi responsible. Lol
20 years too late pal
I’ll check with you next time. Lmao.
@@LifewithSerg don’t bother you’ll be too late again 😂
That's famous Sukhumvit soi 11 😂
Ah yes.
Glad they are getting rid of weed at the end of the year. It made Thailand less attractive to me. Of course others will disagree. But I'm with the conservative party on this.
Yah we shall see what happens. I doubt they will be able to do it.
@@LifewithSergDon't know why you think the Thai government can't or won't do it when they said they are. We shall see.
Thailand is a developing country, and weed is the least of that nations problems, so I don't understand the controversy. I don't use it but from this stage of my life, I've seen alcohol ruin lives not weed. Weed just makes people as dull as dirty dish water.
@@myb7922 It is a SUGGESTED bill, it still needs to be voted for and implemented.
The suggested bill might be rejected, again. It's been rejected before. '
i hate go to bangkok because alltime need walking maak and hot and too much traffic, lot better live countryside north thailand. not hot maak, not traffic, not peoples not all stupid bangkok problems. only idiot want live bkk area houses ower expensive and worst place live big city, lot lot cheapen, better, good, buy house north isaan country lot biggest houses and better live big garden and house and all better. same money can take lot more.
No one is forcing you to come to Bangkok. Lol.
@@LifewithSerg sometime need go but hate go, horriple place lice ,too big place and all have far and not easy go anywere.
Our bodies contain cannabis receptors ! Did you know that Serg ? Thailand would be very stupid to stop allowing cannabis to the public!
Yah it’s a crazy thing here.
Hey Serg been following you for a while. Wife and I are moving to Bangkok in May. Would love to meet you. Google Sonyared to see our social media.
I hope you guys have a wonderful time here in Thailand!
thank you sir@@LifewithSerg
