Bro I’ve noticed you have an unwavering commitment to compliment every single fan, merchant and food stand owner you meet. It never fails. You always comment on how beautiful the shop or food stand is and you even said something about the subscriber’s glasses. You always seem to engage everyone in some sort of way and make them feel noticed and appreciated. It’s unique and refreshing to see.
Best video of its type. You explain. You buy and you eat. Some of the videos I've seen must have been made by people who had just had their supper - they just march up and down Yarowat Road without stopping! Thanks
That's funny, that bug lady is in our China town video. I ate some of the bugs there! Great video as always and always fun to see others experiences in places we have also been!
Hi Chris! There are more Thai food to be had other than Pad Thai, Pad Krapao, and Mango Sticky Rice, you know? If you could do a collaboration with a Thai food expert, Gary Butler from The Roaming Cook, that would be awesome. He should be back from England to BKK by now. Please instagram him to see if he would, ok? Thanks also for always helping out those hard working Vendors & Thai Massage ladies. You and Gladys are truly have hearts of gold. May you both always be blessed.🤩🤩🤍🤍🙏🙏
Awesome video, as always! I highly appreciate your enthusiasm and respect for Thai culture. Headed there for a month for my first time in November. Take care of yourself and your family ❤
Great video ( again ) since I've come across you I can't stop watching your videos. Gladys love your outfit you look lovely. Such a sweet couple and your brother your all really nice people ❤❤❤
Can't wait to see you in UK your first time here you will love it in this country is great come here when the Premiership it is the best football country in the world
Too all subs or chris, Ill be in Thailand in September. Gonna do 3 or 4 nights in Bangkok. Is there a particular area i should book for my hotel? This will be my first time visitong so sill be doing all the tourist places. Any one who chimes in to help appreciate you and thank you. Awesome video chris as always
As April mentioned, Sukhumvit is great as a travel hub making the whole city quite accessible. You'll be spoiled for choice, definitely best for a first time stay. Other suggestions would be Silom if you want a posh stay that's just as connected, check out silom edge's 24h food court. Staying close to the banks of the Chao Phraya is best for shoppers, lots of malls. Thonglor is the hipster district, Ari is far from the BTS near Khao San, offering a chill escape from the chaos. Safe travels, I hope you enjoy your stay in the land of smiles!
Another Great video Chris! We’re going there in October, will stop at the mango-sticky rice stand! Hope to run into you! 😁 I am half Thai/Laos, left the country years ago to US. It’s funny I’m watching and learning about what and where to eat from an American! 😂😂😂
Another good show, man. You're always so friendly and communicative. Very engaging. I must admit it makes me laugh at times that some of the people you capture on film seem so unhappy, and even a little bit of hater shines through in their demeanor and expressions. Not always, but...Sad, really. I experience that in my travels also. Have fun, you two.
Hey man, been a silent follower for a while! We worked together when you were in the military. Glad to see you are out here doing what you love to do! De Oppresso Liber
I walked around china town for so long and swear I didn’t see so many of these types of foods. Do more open up in the evening? I was there mid afternoon and mainly saw stands just with orange juice.
2:33 I believe the sausage she has in the bag is Sai krok Isaan, a fermented sausage from Isaan. And the one she's pointing to is a version of Sai Ua, from Chiang Mai. That could be wrong though
Hey mate have you tried the squid shots yet and the shrimp salad. I’m heading too Pattaya in October and I really wanna try them. Just love to try everything different especially the street food.
I was there not long ago. I stayed in the tallest building in Bangkok. I can't even remember the name of the hotel. Been there so many times, but all it does is make me think of Gladys.
Street food shops in Yaowarat, if they are food carts or pop-ups, let’s assume that 80% of them are new shops that have been open for business for no more than 10-20 years. If they are old original shops, they are mostly rooms. Because this place is an old Chinese community. The shops they run are also their homes. Most food carts or pop-ups are outsiders who came in after Yaowarat became famous.😊
Chris, it is science. They are just stopping the liquid from freezing. You can do it with water as well. Make it super cold, tap the bottom, and you see it start freezing from bottom to top.

Can you give the date in your videos? Because i see everyday new content of you. On youtube, facebook and instagram. Constantly travel with chris. And you are a good guy with nice videos. And you are very generous to the people. But i thought you were 3 days ago in Phuket. Maybe it was a old video.
Its going to happen!!! Give me time ahahah, Maybe winter time to be honest as we are planning on visiting winter markets this year around Europe for a series!
Gotta correct you, friend. Charoen Krung rd is the oldest yaowarat is just quite popular. Also, the Khanom Beuang consists of egg white meringue inside, and then the yellow stuff is foi thong. Foi thong is like my favorite thing ever. It’s great on cakes and all kinds of desserts. Anyway, the white part is sugar and egg whites and the yellow is strained duck egg yolk candied in palm sugar water, usually with a hint of pandan because they usually put a pandan leaf into the water to give it the essence. They use a special finger funnel and they create little ropes of the egg yolk in the sugar water. Foi thong translates to golden threads. Absolutely delicious. 🤤 Also, sorry but the roti too expensive. 40-50฿ for that same thing on sala daeng from puy roti lady. I think you got hit with the Chinatown tax. 🤣 anyway, cool video man. Always enjoy your content. Maybe I’ll see you around. Enjoy Phuket. 🎉
Those are porked stuffed tapioca pearl dumplings. It’s more on the savory side which is why it comes with thai chilis and lettuce. Not sure why they labeled it as a dessert

Those balls are called sakoo yatsai. They are yummy. And eating with lettuce is yummy, along with the dry chilli pepper.
They were delicious! Just not sweet as I expected, or at least what I imagined it would taste like! Thanks for watching!
Hi, can you send me your instergram
Thai snacks and Thai dessert you two tried in the video. Glad you enjoyed the moment and Thai tastes.
Just came back from BKK and went to China town 3 times. I even bought Thai gold in China town where they say is the best place to buy gold.
Why is it the best place to buy gold?
Greetings Chris and Gladys, thank you for another Thailand video and may the force be in both of your stomach's 🙏

You got a nice one with the saku sai moo. Kanom isn’t always a sweet dessert. It’s like an appetizer or a snack. It’s tapioca wrapping with pork
