As I a violinist, I like your introduction music. It is like an overture for an opera. So when you start talking, that is the first scene of the opera ;)
Thank you sir, glad to have a violinist amount the Gentry. Well spotted, it certainly is an overture, to the Opera of my namesake funnily enough and my favorite of all time. Tristan and Isolde by Wagner ;-) Best regards, TGV
I truely enjoy when you splice in clips of you being you, messing up lines, exaggerating voices...it makes your videos so warm and inviting, and gives a sense of--'we're all friends here'. Been watching since you were a wee channel of a few thousand. You have grown exponentially, but have retained your style.
Best watch channel on RUclips bar none. I love the way you are not a snob and get excited about the cheaper watches and judge them on their merit not just their price tag. I went through a divorce recently which means most of my watch money vaporised but you have got me back into watches which I can afford. Would love to buy you a coffee if you're ever in London. Have a great Sunday. Pete.
Summary for those in a rush: 10. Lacoste polo shirts 9. New Balance 997 sneakers 8. Shorts 7. White linen shirt 6. Perlon strap 5. Military/tactical shirt 4. Sunglasses (Persol) 3. Espadrilles 2. Loafers 1. Linen jacket Good work again, TGV.
Little tipp here for the jacket: I would buy a linnen blend with wool or silk in it. It wears cool and you don't have the trouble with wrinkles. A badly wrinkled pure linnen jacket can shorten your sleeves up to an inch which looks odd, especially in combination with a polo or t-shirt.
My alter-ego, I live in the sticks in Maine... I've an eye and an appreciation for finer things... you've got class and style, but most of all a smile that makes my day a bit brighter. Thank you for that..
Thanks for the history info about polo shirts. Totally agree about the 10 summer style essentials... I think for me I will include a good comfy boat shoes...
My ten essentials: 1. Portable water flask. A must in the heat. Stainless steel if possible. 2. Deodorant. A lot of smelly people around in the summer. I recommend Schmidt's Charcoal & Magnesium deodorant stick. 3. Moisturiser with SPF. I use Bulldog as it doesn't leave my skin greasy. 4. No-show socks. Avoid sweaty feet while still looking like you're bare foot. Genius! 5. All-white sneakers. Comfortable for all day walking and they go with any casual outfit. I like the Lacoste court shoes. 6. Bit loafers. In contrast to what you said in the video, I think they look classier than other loafers. 7. Sunglasses. I don't like Luxottica, so I have a pair of Cerutti aviators and a wayfarer by Zadig & Voltaire. 8. Lightweight breathable jacket, for the cool evenings. I go for bombers and linen blazers. 9. Floral shirts. It's not summer until these get their time to shine! 10. Summer cologne. I'm really liking Oud Minerale by Tom Ford that came out recently. Also try Millesime Imperial by Creed.
I love your channel man definitely my favorite I always send my subscribers your way when I don't know what I'm talking about with a watch LOL....."pure class"
Since starting to watch your channel i have grown to love lacoste polo shirts. Excellent quality and bang for your buck. Great vid! Keep up the gr8 work tgv!
Hey, i just wanted to say thanks for showing how beautiful watches are. I was owning a samsung smartwatch and was looking for straps, and i came along one of yours videos and, i actually sold that one i i just yesterday ordered a seiko diver. Can't look at that thing anymore, and i love your videos. Thanks :D
Great summer style essentials list TGV. My List for Summer Essentials: 1. Navy or white polo shirts by Lacoste, Fred Perry and Henri Lloyd with shorts from Ted Baker or Speedo. 2. Light grey espadrilles or a pair of Sperry boat shoes 3. Suede loafers or chocolate brown chukka boots by the Australian brand Aquila with grey chinos and for more a more formal setting such as dinner at a restaurant. 4. Nice white shirt from either Charles Tyrwhitt or the Australian brand Anthony Squires. 5. Royal blue linen jackets from Daniel Hechter 6. RAF once-piece or two-piece straps from Clockwork Synergy on a nice diver or GMT watch 7. Pair of denim jeans 8. A pair of Maui Jim Aviator-style or metal-frame Carrera sunglasses. 9. Asics Gel-Nimbus 20 running shoes 10. jogging outfit (t-shirt and shorts)
Great again! I also enjoy wearing the Lacoste polo's. It started for me as I grew up in Cheshire during the 80's, and my Mum always bought me Lacoste socks, and they lasted years! I also like the Ralph Lauren polo's, as they wash well, stay very soft and last a long time. Stu 👍👍
I find Eulit's perlon straps to be the only ones worth buying. Every other brand I've ever tried was a little too stiff and a little too scratchy. Also, Eulit's two piece perlon: surprisingly great!
Love your style T. Thanks for sharing. Been waiting a long time for a sartorial video! You may appreciate Uniqlo - simple, stylish and comfortable. No tacky branding. Huge variety.
Some good advice here. The only thing I would say is: those shorts - I know you don't like fitted clothing but I do think it would make a positive difference! Just bought my son (10) his first RL Polo shirt and he is looking forward to taking it on holiday. For myself, a navy Hackett polo from TK Maxx.
As I'm sure you know, all you need for summer here in the UK is a raincoat... Another great video Tristano! Looking at the timex expedition scout range of watches for my next watch, for the summer. Good choice do you think? As allways, enjoy your week my friend!
You make everything on you look so good. Unfortunately, not everyone can do the same... A true gentleman. I share your passion for watches, though not as expensive (the most expensive ones I own cost the equivalent of about 160 USD and are much larger, Casio Edifice, to be precise). I also wanted to say I really like the intro with the opera music. You remain an inspiration of style and manners, though I cannot hope to achieve your level of class. Well done, sir.
Great show. Lacoste is fantastic, and I own three. The Polo of choice for me is by Ralph Lauren. I literally own some that are as old as my kids (they are over 20!). Throw them in the wash and dryer, fold and you are good to go. My go to summer attire as I own over 35...
Sunglasses tend to get lost, get sat on, get dinged up one way or another - I found the most comfortable, cheapest ($3.00) sunglasses - Carhartt 'Billings' sunglasses. I wear them when I am bicycling. Also every gentleman should get to know a good tailer. Nothing speaks refinement, style and class like a bespoke suit. Also in your case you have gotten smaller; a good tailor can take in your favorite sport jackets and you can look great again in them. It it easier to take in than to let out. I enjoy your you tube videos very much. Keep up the good work.
I have to say that no one has influenced by buying decisions as of late more than TGV. You are quite the salesman my good man, intentional or not! The best part when making a suggested purchase on this channel is that I wholeheartedly agree with your assessment once received, and feel confident knowing I made the right decision. Good to know that I am not the only one dropping food in my lap too! Onward and upward!
1. Sunglasses 2. Baseball cap 3. Long sleeve linen shirt w/rolled sleeves 4. Basic flat front shorts or tasteful cargo shorts 5. Leather and canvas flip-flops 6. Classic chuck tailors 7. Any dive watch incase of sudden water contact 8. Perlon or canvas watch strap 9. Summer weight jeans 10. Polos and short sleeve tshirts
Hi tgv i hope all is well over the pond? A satorial vid i love it, great top 10 tips, lover the suede driver loathers, a good look for spring/summer, keep up the great work, O&U you're friend Ryan.
Of all the sunglasses I've owned, my Maui Jim aviators are by far my favorite pair. American brand, built like tanks, stylish, everything you'd need. Also for summer dress shirts I highly recommend the Awearness line from Kenneth Cole, since their fabric is designed to keep you cool on a hot day.
Just put a silicone strap with deployment clasp on my Seamaster - love it for the summer. Good alternative to nato or perlon, comfortable and durable, easy to clean off sweat or salt.
My summer essentials: 1. Shoes: I like to keep several pairs. It's nice to have some rotation so you don't have to wear sweaty shoes and of course you need different ones for different occasions. My favorites are Meermin suede loafers ( a bit more formal), boat shoes from Henri Lloyd, sand color suede espadrilles and Rivieras slip on shoes (incredibly breathable and comfortable due to the weaved upper) 2. Linen on everything. Linen shirts, linen trousers, linen jackets. Check out Suitsupply for amazing value. 3. Sun glasses: Ray ban clubmasters with the green lense and brown tortoise shell frames and Ray ban round with the green lense and brass frames. I like to have two different styles to suit different occasions. The Clubmasters are a bit smarter. 4. Watches: just avoiding leather straps. 5. Knitted polo shirts (again, check Suitsupply or H&M for more affordable ones) I personally prefer the knitted fabric to the classic polo fabric. 6. A chunky jumper for the cooling evenings. One of my favorites is a thick cotton cricket jumper from Charles Tyrwhitt (another brand I would recommend for great value) but unfortunately I think they stopped making them. 7. A nice panama hat made from natural straw. Only for when travelling in the more southern parts. Need to keep my scalp from not burning to a crisp. 8. braided suede leather belt.
I love this guy because he wears watches worth 10k€, shirts worth 100€ and 15€ shorts and watches with the same attitude, TGV really puts the subjective and personal value before the market value
Tally Bally Ho to you too! 😉 Love linen shirts and suits. The main issue with a linen shirt is obviously packing it and then ironing out all the ceases again. Hanging on the shower curtain rail when showering gets the wrinkles out as a little tip! Excellent video as always sir!
Yes indeed sir. I think, however, that linen needs its creases. I love the look of my linen suit when travelling. Very 'Mickey Rourke in Angel Heart' look :) Great tip for the shower rail too. Cheers!
some of my favorites... Victorinox Cadet pocket knife, Blount Umbrellas and my favorite cheap watch Casio WR100 with orange strap & 10 year battery, cheers to all
Hi TGV! The piece along the side of your face on glasses is simply called the "temple". My favorite sunglasses for 35 years now, are Serengeti. They have numerous styles with the thinner temple pieces as well as wider models. Not only are these top-notch summer glasses, but in my opinion are the best driving glasses on the market. They work great in summer weather, and even in rainy, overcast weather they cut out the blue glare and make visibility so much better and safer.
Hello! I recommend these items for the summer: 1. Watches featuring a bright or bold color 2. Polo shirts made of a lighter/moisturize wicking fabric (such as J. Crew performance) 3. A light/citrus fragrance 4. White sneakers (converse, Adidas Stan Smith, etc) 5. Linen shirts 6. Penny loafers (I love mine from Cole Haan) 7. Linen shorts 8. Lightweight t shirts 9. Sunglasses that fit your face shape well 10. A good book
Well done Sir. I agree with most items on your Summer list... although personally, I have a few "summer bags" to put items in, thus avoiding overstuffing the pockets of my summer shorts with my wallet, keys, gum, cell-phone, glasses... and so forth... which kills the "relaxed" summer look. A casual bag with a strap, nothing too "cute", works well. Cheers....
TGV, have you tried Tom's shoes? They come with the added knowledge that they donate a pair of shoes for every pair sold. The quality is great as well. I have been wearing my pair for a couple of years now without socks (in the Australian heat) and they don't smell at all.
The benefit of Tom's Shoes is questionable. When the shoes are donated to towns in developing countries, the cobblers in said towns find new jobs and when the shoes wear out, there aren't any cobblers to make new shoes. So while people get some new shoes that last a year, the lasting negative impact is greater to the communities.
The Urban Gentry I'm actually in love with those things called espadrilles (especially since they have a great utility considering the climate where I live and my dress style) , and while I like yours, I believe the Tommy Hilfiger similar model offers a little bit more in terms of comfort since it has some sort of elastic part between top side and.. well.. the side of the shoe (please excuse my lack of English skills). You should definitely check them out, if you enjoy those slip on you showed us. I got mine for 75 each. Got both white and blue.
Oh suits you sir lol. Am laughing at your blooper edit at the start.i am a Fred Perry polo shirt and Adidas Samba wearer myself but I like your other combo suggestions.good work fella.
Very nice video Tristano . Funny , informative and absolutely worth to watch ! All the best from Cologne , Germany fratello . And by the way , its half past 12 pm here , and I'm watching most of your Videos for the second time ;-)
Thank you so much, very kind of you my friend and as always, great hear from you. I hope all is well in Cologne, one day I will visit and see that stunning Cathedral you have. Best regards, TGV
Love Lacoste Polos. Have quite a few of them myself. They are classics. I have found the original Lacoste Polos that were made in France were of the best quality. I still have a few shirts I bought 18 years ago and still fit. The new ones made in In Peru, I have found don't last as long and wear out sooner. New Balance running shoes are great. Have also owned several pairs over the years and are built with great quality.
⚖ purchased some blue suade loafers, about to away to Morocco and always seem to panic pack as I never know what to take so want to take everything, so great its to see this guide gives me a few ideas. Cheers Mr lacoste.
Greetings, I enjoy your videos a lot and I’ve been wondering something for a long time. What program do you use as your screen saver? I love the art on the background. Regards.
Do love The Fighting Temeraire. It's a must see at the National Gallery. Just acquired my first luxury timepiece.. Omega Seamaster 300m Blue Dial. Currently wearing on a nice navy blue/white NATO strap, of course :) Thanks for the advice Gov'ner!
I'm discovering perlon straps and got 10 of those in different colours 20mm and 22mm. It's very comfortable specially when it's hot and humid. I like the bright colours they offer but the reason I really like them is that you are not defined to a set of holes and can have them perfectly adjusted. Also contrary to nato you have a single pass of material under the watch instead of two and it doesn't lift the watch as much. With larger watches nato doesn't work well for me but perlon does the trick. One of the strap I got was abrasive unfortunately but other brand are ok. Since you can adjust them to perfection they don't move a lot. Rest of the time it's colareb distressed leather bands. I'm partial to old style driver shoes from puma for summer. They now offer them only in black or brown or with bmw logos and can'ts stand anything bmw related so I got both colours and alternate. It's like wearing nothing and when driving it's fantastic. When walking a lot or standing for long time I go with black and tan vans shoes. I can wear that all day long and they last forever. I tried the lacos shirts but I didn't appreciable visualy the bands at the end of the sleeves. I would need to check if they offer a model that doesn't have it.
Great choices. I was a bit surprised that you wouldn't think of the classic Aviator sunglasses for summer, seems they would be, very much, your style. Thin Temples (I believe that's the word you were searching for) light weight and; of course; classic.
Hey Tristano, you may want to try the Oakley „Square Wire“ series, Model „OO4075“ as an alternative to the Italian glasses you are having trouble finding. They are my everyday wear and are very comfortable even under sweaty conditions. One thing to keep in mind though, they use polarized glasses, so flying an aircraft with digital displays or reading the HUD of your car can be difficult. Other than that, these sunglasses are top notch!
Best sunglasses around Oliver Peoples or Garrett Leight, they have some truly timeless styles. Although good shout with Persol, for when you want to channel your inner Steve McQueen. All the best TGV!
1. Boat shoes. To be fair I rock these year-round, but perfect for everything. I prefer Sebago’s schooner model to anything sperry, quality is much better 2. OCBDs, worn open at the collar and with sleeves rolled up. 3. Aviators. If possible, track down a vintage pair from the made in USA, Bausch and Lomb days 4. Tote bag. LL Bean is the classic, but I prefer Filson, being a northwest guy 5. Shorts. Patagonia 7” Stand Up shorts have a nice high waist and a classic fit, so they have a “rugged ivy” look in the city but pull double duty for all outdoor activities 6. Penny Loafers. Again, Sebago has a nice model for not much money, and they hand everything from BBQs to business casual 7. Pullover crew neck sweatshirts, ideally in heather gray. Perfect for cool evenings, and if your college doesn’t make a classic one then hit up Todd Snyder. 8. Lacoste Polo. Sadly associated with frat bros, they’re simply the most comfortable garment made. Black, always in black. 9. Mint. It grows like a weed, you just need a pot and a window, and BOOM, mojitos all summer. 10. Skx007 on the original jubilee bracelet. Works anywhere, any time-the perfect companion. Have a great summer!
In summer i like to travel light. My getaway bag will always be number one on my list. It's a Barbour Explorer Holdall, perfect for those weekend summer breaks. Next up is a new summer fragrance. This year i plumped for Jimmy Choo's Blue but whatever your taste a new fragrance is a must for those hot summer days. Finally i find myself turning to hair products more often during the hot summer months. Much like yourself i'm pretty old school so to keep my hair looking cool & manageable i turn to Pomade. Prices vary but i've found no discernible difference in quality. I've now settled with the old classic Black & White. I honestly can't recommend it enough. PS Sorry T, how could i forget sunglasses. I'm afraid i prefer Ray Bans, i just prefer the Aviator styling to more contemporary brands. Your new shades look great by the way.
A fun essentials video TGV. Enjoyed it very much. I’d have to say one of my summer essentials is a quality V necked T shirt i can mix for different every day situations. It gets quite hot here in Western Australia, so keeping cool while trying to maintain a modicum of class can be a bit of a balancing act. In-fact, as i type this, it’s the 3rd official day of winter and I’m sitting here in my V neck T shirt and shorts! 21 degrees (Celsius) outside and sun is shining. Sunglasses weather. Onwards and upwards my friend😁
thanks TGV for making videos on such a consistent basis. It must be hard to keep producing new content at times. I've really gotten back into mechanical watches and watches in general due to your videos.
Great video! I was actually gonna suggest that you should do more of these videos again. They are very useful and informative, as well as a nice little break from the watch stuff (not that we need a break from the watch stuff) 😁
Have you ever thought of getting your polos tAilored? I too have a ton of lacoste polos i purchased when i was about 165lbs....im about 140 now and plan on staying this size but i have too wait till prom season is over because my tailor is backed up… i have no idea how much each shirt will cost some need to be taken in and/or shortened but im sure it will be better than buying a bunch of new polos
Espadrillas are essential for me too. I use to have long summer walks, up to 5 miles, and they protect my feet while keeping them relatively cool (exposing my feet is not an option for me either). I also got a small collection of ultra cheap polos from various brands, plus a nice second hand Ralph Lauren I picked for €15 (definitely the best in the bunch). And of course, a summer hat to protect me from the mercyless Italian sun. I chose a 10X palm straw cowboy hat (Texan style) by Bullhide for $40. I get the most puzzled looks by people on the streets, but who cares: it's light, comfortable, and protects my head allowing it to breathe. Wide brim so I don't need sunglasses anymore. Talking about sunglasses, have you ever checked out Polaroid? They're great but you need to try them before buying since their polarized lenses don't get along with certain LCD screens.
Opening sequence with TGV in the raw is brilliant hahaha
I absolutely love the videos that are not purely about watches, but rather about stuff you need or EDC
Tristan and Isolde by Wagner ;-)

Yes. It's like an opera, but with less drama. Love your style, tgv. Lol
I truely enjoy when you splice in clips of you being you, messing up lines, exaggerating voices...it makes your videos so warm and inviting, and gives a sense of--'we're all friends here'. I absolutely love these lifestyle vlogs , as well as the watches of course, more please.

The shoes are my favorite item on the list. Those New Balance are classic and continue to be relevant throughout the years.
Thank you Kurt, very happy to hear you agree, the classics never die!

Very helpful video Tristano. I appreciate it. I like your non-snobby approach.

Oh you know , just my casual German paratrooper belt.
Love it
Loved the start of the video, so funny. Fantastic
I find Eulit's perlon straps to be the only ones worth buying. Every other brand I've ever tried was a little too stiff and a little too scratchy. Also, Eulit's two piece perlon: surprisingly great!

'the only time you'll see me wearing flip-flops is the beach, the swimming pool, or in my own home.' Amen to that! old school advice from a wise gent!
now that its the summer again id love to see an updated list for this year, love the content by the way. been binge watching all the watchtalks lately
You need to make a blooper video!
You should make a podcast, not necessarily on youtube, where you ramble about complete nonsense. I for one would listen to it.
Just so long as you say, "donkeys" & "chuffed to bits" at least once... lol
Aussie summer essentials - beer, esky for beer, ice for esky.
Sir thanks to your videos my dad now owns a entry level watch! The seiko SKX. He also got me an invicta pro diver, love your vids!
As I'm sure you know, all you need for summer here in the UK is a raincoat... Another great video Tristano! Looking at the timex expedition scout range of watches for my next watch, for the summer. Good choice do you think?
As allways, enjoy your week my friend!
LOL Thank you Bradley,
As for the Timex, you can not fail with that choice.Great summer watch choice.
Best regards,
TGV
Thanks for the tip with the tactical polo shirt. Next summer I’ll try the espadrilles. Good work TGV.
I always loved my Clarks desert boots.
YESSSSSS!!!! Classis.
Me too, I was big into them before I had youtube.
Thank you sir!!!!
Best regards

Love it. As we approach summer 3 years on, has much changed in this list?
1. Sunglasses
2. Baseball cap

5. Leather and canvas flip-flops
6. Classic chuck tailors
7. Any dive watch incase of sudden water contact
8. Perlon or canvas watch strap
9. Summer weight jeans
10. Polos and short sleeve tshirts
Great stuff a TGV. My Dad always wore LaCoste when playing tennis and golf. Love all those great colors.
Hi tgv i hope all is well over the pond? A satorial vid i love it, great top 10 tips, lover the suede driver loathers, a good look for spring/summer, keep up the great work, O&U you're friend Ryan.
Big fan, gent. Thanks for making great videos.
Good alternative to nato or perlon, comfortable and durable, easy to clean off sweat or salt.
i found silicone the pefect way to sweat in summer.
great vid as usual, when I hear you doing a poncy english accent it brings a smile
LOL,
Thank you,
Best regards,
TGV
My summer essentials:
1. Shoes: I like to keep several pairs. It's nice to have some rotation so you don't have to wear sweaty shoes and of course you need different ones for different occasions. My favorites are Meermin suede loafers ( a bit more formal), boat shoes from Henri Lloyd, sand color suede espadrilles and Rivieras slip on shoes (incredibly breathable and comfortable due to the weaved upper)
Love linen shirts and suits.
Very 'Mickey Rourke in Angel Heart' look :)
Great tip for the shower rail too. Cheers!
You're welcome! Ah, I prefer linen without creases unless it's the end of the day! :-)
Have you tried a travel steamer? I wear linen pants daily to work in the summer and it only takes 3 minutes to steam them when they are wrinkled.
best intro ever lol ... great one as always TGV !!!
Thank you Flavio,
Best regards
TGV
some of my favorites...
Hello! I recommend these items for the summer:
1. Watches featuring a bright or bold color
2. Polo shirts made of a lighter/moisturize wicking fabric (such as J. Crew performance)
3. A light/citrus fragrance
4. White sneakers (converse, Adidas Stan Smith, etc)
5. Linen shirts
6. Penny loafers (I love mine from Cole Haan)
7. Linen shorts
8. Lightweight t shirts
9. Sunglasses that fit your face shape well
Adam Hewitt Try Flossy (from Spain), likely you will forget the Toms
The benefit of Tom's Shoes is questionable. When the shoes are donated to towns in developing countries, the cobblers in said towns find new jobs and when the shoes wear out, there aren't any cobblers to make new shoes. So while people get some new shoes that last a year, the lasting negative impact is greater to the communities.
For some (genuine humanity moments) I loved this episode intro =D
I respect your passion for time pieces and I appreciate your work here. GG
Thank you for sharing that, deeply appreciated.
Onwards and upwards!
Best regards
TGV
The Urban Gentry I'm actually in love with those things called espadrilles (especially since they have a great utility considering the climate where I live and my dress style) , and while I like yours, I believe the Tommy Hilfiger similar model offers a little bit more in terms of comfort since it has some sort of elastic part between top side and.. well.. the side of the shoe (please excuse my lack of English skills). You should definitely check them out, if you enjoy those slip on you showed us. I got mine for 75 each. Got both white and blue.
I've missed these. About to leave on a trip to Spain at the end of the month and was looking for some summer inspirations.
Thank you Anthony, so glad I could help in time. Have a wonderful time, Spain is amazing.
Best regards

Oh suits you sir lol. Am laughing at your blooper edit at the start.i am a Fred Perry polo shirt and Adidas Samba wearer myself but I like your other combo suggestions.good work fella.
Rick wallace I totally agree with you on the Addidas Samba.
Best regards,
TGV
Love Lacoste Polos. Have quite a few of them myself. They are classics. I have found the original Lacoste Polos that were made in France were of the best quality. I still have a few shirts I bought 18 years ago and still fit. The new ones made in In Peru, I have found don't last as long and wear out sooner. New Balance running shoes are great. Have also owned several pairs over the years and are built with great quality.
Exactly Stephen. the old lacoste chemise were MUCH better quality
Love your videos. Very classy and cool.
⚖ purchased some blue suade loafers, about to away to Morocco and always seem to panic pack as I never know what to take so want to take everything, so great its to see this guide gives me a few ideas. Cheers Mr lacoste.
Amazing video! Please do more:) and I’m still waiting on some book reviews. Great job TGV! We love you
Greetings, I enjoy your videos a lot and I’ve been wondering something for a long time. What program do you use as your screen saver? I love the art on the background. Regards.
In a jolly mood I see!
Do love The Fighting Temeraire. It's a must see at the National Gallery.
Just acquired my first luxury timepiece.. Omega Seamaster 300m Blue Dial. Currently wearing on a nice navy blue/white NATO strap, of course :)
Thanks for the advice Gov'ner!
I bought full grain leather belts from eBay. Great reviews and not expensive.
Hey TGV im late... but i do like open collar polo shirts and military jackets/shirts for summer... pure class!!
Loved this U.G. Have to have the Chelsea Boot in the rotation. Spring, Summer and Fall shoe. I prefer them in suede.
Great choices. I was a bit surprised that you wouldn't think of the classic Aviator sunglasses for summer, seems they would be, very much, your style.
Thin Temples (I believe that's the word you were searching for) light weight and; of course; classic.
Glad to see more of the "Lifestyle" videos!
That first minute was one heck of a wild ride
Hey Tristano, you may want to try the Oakley „Square Wire“ series, Model „OO4075“ as an alternative to the Italian glasses you are having trouble finding. They are my everyday wear and are very comfortable even under sweaty conditions. One thing to keep in mind though, they use polarized glasses, so flying an aircraft with digital displays or reading the HUD of your car can be difficult. Other than that, these sunglasses are top notch!
Boy I love your channel and videos. Can I ask you something. What do you think of these light powered watches that never need a battery change?
OluKai makes my absolute favorite loafers for summer. Casual and smart at the same time. Love the collapsible heel as well.
You should do an entire video in a Cockney accent!
LOL, I would love to, but perhaps never be able to return to London again! :D
Thank you Sparty,
Best regards
TGV
Hahahahhah best 1st minute ever !!!
Hey, your „Bundeswehr Fallschirmjäger“ was mostly spot on 👍🏼
You may want to look into no-show socks for the summer. I love em
Best sunglasses around Oliver Peoples or Garrett Leight, they have some truly timeless styles. Although good shout with Persol, for when you want to channel your inner Steve McQueen.
All the best TGV!
Wonderful intro so funny glad u left it all in Sir! Bravo!!
Loved the video fratello! The Lacoste’s are in full effect!
Thank you so much :D
Best regards,
TGV
Best intro yet!
1. Boat shoes. To be fair I rock these year-round, but perfect for everything. I prefer Sebago’s schooner model to anything sperry, quality is much better
2. OCBDs, worn open at the collar and with sleeves rolled up.
3. Aviators. If possible, track down a vintage pair from the made in USA, Bausch and Lomb days
4. Tote bag. LL Bean is the classic, but I prefer Filson, being a northwest guy
5. Shorts. Patagonia 7” Stand Up shorts have a nice high waist and a classic fit, so they have a “rugged ivy” look in the city but pull double duty for all outdoor activities
6. Penny Loafers. Again, Sebago has a nice model for not much money, and they hand everything from BBQs to business casual
PS
Sorry T, how could i forget sunglasses.
I recommend Columbia shirt and Columbia titanium jackets .
They are all uv breathable with cool max and very comfortable to wear
Great video! I was actually gonna suggest that you should do more of these videos again. They are very useful and informative, as well as a nice little break from the watch stuff (not that we need a break from the watch stuff) 😁
Have you ever thought of getting your polos tAilored? I too have a ton of lacoste polos i purchased when i was about 165lbs....im about 140 now and plan on staying this size but i have too wait till prom season is over because my tailor is backed up… i have no idea how much each shirt will cost some need to be taken in and/or shortened but im sure it will be better than buying a bunch of new polos
You have a style that suits your personality.
