  • In this repair video I replace the front anti-roll bar (sway bar) drop links on a 2006 Audi A4 B7, to cure a knocking noise from the front suspension over bumps and loose surfaces. I use Lemforder components as replacements which look to be the same as genuine Audi parts but with the Audi emblem removed/ground off! I also mention the first multilink suspension systems that Audi began using on the A4 B5 and Volkswagen on the Passat of a similar age, back in the mid 90s and the problems I encountered as a VAG dealer technician at the time.
I also go on to discuss an upcoming repair video on my 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee 3.0 CRD WK/WH, where I plan to replace the corroded/rusty fuel tank which has started to leak diesel.

If they're bonded don't you have to have the sway bar at ride height? Probably not cos the erWin guide doesn't mention it but it seems odd for an Audi🤔
