6 point is better then a 12 point. Even the open box end. Alot more holding the bolt then a 12 point.

Incorrect sir.
I just finished my industrial mechanic millwright apprenticeship and we had a long course on fasteners. I’m not sure how you could possibly even think 6 points of contact are better than 12 ? Plus with 12 point you have twice as many ways you can fit the wrench over the fastener , which in tight spaces can be very helpful.

why didn't you just leave the bottom bolt on to keep it from spinning....?
