DJ Sounds Abound not a good idea. Download the light rider app. It’s the same thing and it’s made for your dmx bridge. It’s $90 for the app. You’ll get more dmx channels (512 vs 256) and the ability to talk to other ADJ WiFly products.
Real Life DJ if you already own an Airstream dmx bridge then pay $90 for the light rider app. It’s the same thing and you’ll get more channels with your Airstream dmx bridge. Also, your unit can communicate with other ADJ WiFly products.

I do like this but trying to get into lighting during my DJ sets for weddings and what not seems like SoundSwitch is easier and more versatile. No app to play with but I can use a dedicated midi controller or just the foot controller or remote even. I think setting up some auto loops for buildups and a few different motion and color controls would do it. This is very nice here but seems like I won't have time to DJ and play with this by myself. Any suggestions or advice would be great.

Hello, In my place, there may be sometimes wifi lags (even if the wifi to dmx interface is not far from my tablet), because there are several other strong 2.4GHz equipments. I am wondering about what do the lights when there is no wifi signal. Do the lights freeze until the wifi comes back ? Or do they still move ? Can somebody who has this product do the test, just by switching off the wifi of the tablet for a few seconds and then switch it on again, when the application MyDMX GO is running ? hey when u say that you have to have internet when introducing new fixtures initially all my lights are set up in an internet dead zone could I take home(where I have internet) 1 example of each of the different fixtures and do it there and then when reconnected to the other 'same' fixture ie if I had four same brand moving heads but only took one home for the internet 'download' would the other three be installed on the software if that makes sense

I have a "wireless dmx system" ipad app now with alot of transmitters and receivers to control my moving heads and pars.. but i dont want multiple transmitters to do the same thing is there a combo controller transmitter? Looking for IPAD APP -> wireless connection- WIRELESS COMBO CONTROLLER AND TRANSMITTER -> wireless connection -> MOVING HEADS AND PAR CONTROL without two different transmitters The simplest manner possible? Please let me know if ADJ MyDMX GO would work and how to easily accomplish this.. If other suggestions im open to that as well

Yes, you can use donners with any dmx interface. But know that you can also buy the sushi ds interface for about $50 and try out a 30 day free trial of light rider (I'm 99% sure it's the exact same tablet app as this. Came out in europe a few years ago & is just being introduced to the states now thru ADJ). I'm a newbie to the dmx world and have found light rider to be a great learning tool. Buy the sushi ds if you want to save a buck and get your feet wet, but if you want an interface that connects wirelessly to your tablet, spend the extra $ and get the adj interface! (Sushi connects via usb only)

There are ways around that. At the top of the brand menu there will generic and variable or something like that. In one of those there should be some fixture program that will work. I had to do that for some of my monoprice moving heads and they work almost 100%
How does this connect into a mixer or other equipment so it follows the music in "auto" mode??? For example...with SoundSwitch there is a USB dongle and that is where it picks up the beat to create autoloops. Does this hardware do it thru a microphone built in? or?
I am gonna stick with airstream app cause paying 100 bucks for license doesn’t make sense. I have a Samsung tablet with a amazon wired dongle and use that light rider for the same price. Of licensing.
I use a sushi-ds that I bought for $69 AUD and connect it to my Samsung tablet using an OTG cable with light rider. never looked back to using dmx controllers
@DJBarr when you patched in your moving head with the hex par, did you plug in your dmx into the hex par or into the 2nd universe channel on the adj dmx go?
I can't find the exact " MyDMX GO " app. it just shows different apps like Airstream DMX Airstream Bridge DMX Programmer ( showing 5.0 Stars on the DMX Programmer app ) Plus i have the iPhone XS
Airstream is still better for me. The airstream has the feature of moving heads movements all you have to do is draw the movement onto the map and it’ll do the movements you want and then it I to buttons.
Yes you can do that. Just select the target under moves and change the Fan effect to 100% then you can select a spotlight were every you want in the room. Also works really well as a follower spot.
I have a very important question. How to turn off the prism completely after turning it off? Because once again a prism, clicking again changes the prism from a liner to a prism in a circle. And I don't know how to turn it off so that I have one lens back.

You can plug your Donner transmitter into this, just like any dmx controller and it will transmit wireless dmx. I have done this and it works fine.

Yes, you can control half a universe. However using same DMX address for fixtures that are same will let you have an infinite amount

I use two Gigbar Flexes and connect them master/slave in sound mode! Works great!
