Great Video I learned a lot on how the Maestro dmx unit works under the hood….Can you do a video with the “AI lightshow Force 1.0” controller? I know that unit has dedicated buttons and a DMX bypass built in.
Great first step. Give it a year or two and we will have versions that can watch all of an artists shows to understand their preferred styles and tailor the lighting to that.

I tried Light Rider quite a while ago and for some reason I had a hard time wrapping my head around the controls. I'll have to give it another look--thanks for reminding me about it.

Thats a good question. If you set your movers all to the same starting address they should synchronize together (movements and colors) Appreciate you watching!
I'm really glad you asked this, because you can have MIDI control over a bunch of parameters (including being able to remotely trigger any cue you have programmed) which gives it a big boost in usability IMHO. On their website it says: MaestroDMX is an autonomous lighting designer-in-a-box that listens to music and makes decisions like a professional lighting designer. Apparently it has algorithms that analyse different aspects of the audio spectrum. Definitely a huge step up from typical sound active modes.
I plan to do a MaestroDMX vs SoundSwitch comparison video. SoundSwitch is cool but it definitely took me quite an investment of time to get good results. MaestroDMX is basically plug and play.. and fun to watch it do its thing!

Well QLC+ is a great app (and FREE is definitely less expensive) but I haven't seen it do what MaestroDMX can. Appreciate you watching.
Does it work with knockoff brands?
Yes, you can program in if you have the manual. Or in many cases, the U’king profiles will work. I got it to work with Lixada this morning.
