Just for the record....on the pick 6 in the Vikings game, The WR ran the wrong route. It was a hot read and the WR was supposed to cut in and not out. Moreover, he fell down. Jimmy put the ball where it was supposed to be and the WR goofed. The play really broke down before that because they had a rookie RT playing RG and he allowed pressure so early that Jimmy had to get rid of the ball. On the INT vs Detroit, another WR again ran the wrong route and that route was supposed to pull the coverage away from Breida to get him open. An argument can be made that he shouldn't have let the ball go, but it was again a case of a young WR running the wrong route. Should also be noted that there were SEVERAL Would be TD catches that were dropped by the receiver in that game (Garcon, Pettis, and Kittle). The Kittle one was the worst as he was wide open for a long TD and the next play was the mentioned pick 6. I have no concerns about Jimmy G. He is young and still makes mistakes, but I think in this video you aren't seeing the light through the trees.

Sojourn RnR I tell you like this I went back and I watch the games and I watch most of the film from those games where Jimmy had interceptions and I would venture to say that only maybe two or three interceptions were his fault the majority of the interceptions that I've seen him throw on film was because the receivers ran the wrong routes they did not run the right routes we run the West Coast offense it is a controlled passing game it is about timing and precision and Jimmy has to get the ball out of his hands at a certain time and when these guys run bad routes and he releases that ball it causes it to either turn to a pick or an incomplete pass. And some of those interceptions I wash he threw the receiver the ball they have the ball in their hands caught the ball and let defensive backs for linebackers snatched the ball out of their hands with something and an interception for Jimmy when he didn't even throw an interception it was their fault the receiver's fault.
@Sojourn RnR How did he have a losing record? He is 17-8 in TD to INT. If you're talking about win-loss, he is 8-2 (I think, and if we're including the Chiefs game when he got injured). In now way did he have a losing record, at all

Every player fights harder and remarks on how G said or did something that motivated them, they all talk about how he has a team mindset rather than it's all about me , I'm the million dollar Q.B.
One of the picks in the Vikings game was because the receiver ran the wrong route. I believe Shanahan said that in the press conf. Still doesn’t excuse the loss though. Great analysis my friend.

This is prolly the fairest and most impartial analysis I’ve seen of JG so far. I wish you would have touched more on his good to balance out the video. Overall accurate assessment. Sounded a lot like what Shanahan said about him.
I’ve seen a couple of your videos and you are pretty knowledgeable but a couple of things about your analysis 1. That sack against the Vikings seems like it could have been a miscommunication in what protection scheme they were in. It’s common when centers and qbs don’t necessarily have great chemistry. Even still the qb can be thinking the line is going to slide when way but slides the other. They had enough blockers to pick up the blitz but slid the wrong way. Again I’m not saying you are wrong but at the same time when a free rusher comes free like that and it’s not an overload it usually means there was a miscommunication somewhere. 2. The sacks against the lions were coverage sacks. You can see it with Brady. If Brady knows the blitz will be picked up he will hold onto it and hope one of his wrs will shake open. 3. That last pic showed was a bad route run by the wr. The ball placement could have been better but the rb stuttering halfway through a route is usually a sign he is going to run a short route. With the db sitting at the sticks he read it and just made a great play. The wr should have tried to eat up the cushion as much as possible either forcing the db to back a step or 2 or creating contact knocking the dB off his spot and creating separation. Like I said you are very knowledgeable and I’m sure you will continue to grow your channel.
I'd say 1 int was maybe concerning and that was the inaccurate pass. Int 1: Bourne ran the wrong route and when you throw a ball on a timing route and the receiver isn't where they're supposed to be it's almost definitely going to be a pick int 2: The inaccurate pass (though it was really a freak catch by Rhodes) int 3: Big time pressure in his face had to get rid of it, took a risk and threw it into the air rather than take the sack.
After watching this analysis, it really makes you think, wow, Tom Brady really is that good! He really really is that smart with the football, with his accuracy, with his decision-making, with his preparation, with reading defenses, with moving linebackers with subtle movements of his head, eyes, and pump fakes. We will never see another quarterback like Brady
Everyone got giddy about that 5 game win streak back in 2017. Other than that he hasn’t done ANYTHING. He has to stay healthy and so does McKinnon this season. This is a huge year for the 49ers and especially coach Shanahan.
an overhauled oline and the top two receivers on the depth chart injured. one Int because bourne ran the wrong route and the pettis one because pettis slipped out of his break so he couldn't fully extend for the ball the deep ball one to the vikings was odd since we had an underneath route wide open.
I saw somewhere that his 2nd int v Minnesota was the receivers fault, he came out and took responsibility and i think Chris Simms said he thought it looked that way too
hey Zac I'd love to see a vid on Joe Flacco. Maybe what he's done well, what caused him to fall out of favor, and if the Broncos are going to be decent with him. Thanks
He had better options in week 2 like taking the sack or throwing it away but I have to say there was nowhere for him to throw the ball. Great breakdown though man!
Garoppolo is a solid QB. I predict he'll get around 27-29 TDs next season with 14 interceptions. He'll definitely have some rust the first couple of weeks but we can lay out the verdict on him once we see him play near weeks 7-16
Can someone explain why the only rational sports analyst who's willing to change his opinion when shown evidence that goes against his former thoughts is called strong opinion sports? I've needed this in my life so badly!
Some were partly his fault one was just unfortunate that Pettis slipped. That'll happen as so many are trying to develop their sea legs so to speak with a you inexperienced roster. Those should phase out but a few are concerning with the fact that they were off communication Kyle indirectly called Jimmy out when he said that Mullens knew the playbook better than anybody
@Sojourn RnR no just Pettis slipped. Those happen. Have to live with them. Ball was a little high where Rhodes could make a play so it's not entirely Pettis fault. Just things, you hope at least, they work hard tend to go away over time
Jordan Dallo I agree with that. I respect Brady and all he’s accomplished but imagine Manning or Rodgers coached by Belichick. That would’ve been so scary
It is more accurate if you throw with more power. You can control a tennis ball easier and throw it accurately than a shotput. He should throw with his legs. it increases his range and also increases ball speed (making it harder for defenders to close the windows as the ball already whistled past them). In a Brett Kollman video (another great film analyst that you guys should check), he pointed that he should throw with his leg behind his lead foot like this LF BF That generates more torque and power leading to increase in velocity, power, yeah accuracy
But power must be effortless to be translated to accuracy. It should had less "oomph". Body mechanics increase power without increasing effort. That is the why it is important.
One reason why Jimmy G is great, is that he is quick in developing, he won 7 games late 2017 season and only had a few weeks to learn the playbook and everything
2:00 wasnt garapolos fault he saw his RB there he thought the RB would take care of the blitz and the RB should have gone for the guy who arrived fiest tbh
SleepingGiant Nah he has plenty of videos where he's critical of the players he analyzing. The Haskins and Metcalf analysis videos are a couple that come to mind.

hey Zac I'd love to see a vid on Joe Flacco. Maybe what he's done well, what caused him to fall out of favor, and if the Broncos are going to be decent with him. Thanks
Great content my man. Keep it up
O-line film analysis would be dope!
He had better options in week 2 like taking the sack or throwing it away but I have to say there was nowhere for him to throw the ball. Great breakdown though man!
Just subbed. I found your channel yesterday, I'm very impressed with analysis.
Garoppolo is a solid QB. I predict he'll get around 27-29 TDs next season with 14 interceptions. He'll definitely have some rust the first couple of weeks but we can lay out the verdict on him once we see him play near weeks 7-16
Dante PETTIS or George KITTLE?
Alexander Varga Kittle for sure. No knock on Pettis though. I do believe can be the future number 1 receiver
Dude, greetings from Germany. Love your show. Maybe also do entire offenses or defense parts to anslyze
Have you thought about starting a Patreon? That’s how I started supporting Brett Kollman a little over a year ago.
How did you get your film review into the RUclips video? What movie maker did you use, and how did you screen record the film section?
In the lions game no receiver was open
Can someone explain why the only rational sports analyst who's willing to change his opinion when shown evidence that goes against his former thoughts is called strong opinion sports? I've needed this in my life so badly!
That holding call gutted me as a Lions fan. Jimmy didn’t even look at that side of the field, there was no reason to hold like that
in his defense it was kittle
That's true, but that doesn't make it crush my soul any less
@@JoycenatorGaming oh I get that, I had a huge sigh of relief but was also glad to see jimmy put in the effort to make the tackle.
Can you break down Mitch Trubisky’s tape from this year
Great job bro !
Man your opinion is so good, need more view i think.
What team are you a fan of?
none of the int were concerning
1st: wr miscommunication
2nd: receivers fault
3rd: terrible route
Yup you can really only blame him for the 3rd interception
The excuses are real💀
No channel Name watch the film you idiot
Some were partly his fault one was just unfortunate that Pettis slipped. That'll happen as so many are trying to develop their sea legs so to speak with a you inexperienced roster. Those should phase out but a few are concerning with the fact that they were off communication Kyle indirectly called Jimmy out when he said that Mullens knew the playbook better than anybody
@Sojourn RnR no just Pettis slipped. Those happen. Have to live with them. Ball was a little high where Rhodes could make a play so it's not entirely Pettis fault. Just things, you hope at least, they work hard tend to go away over time
You could put in a ham sandwich as quarterback of the Patriots and he'd make the playoffs.
Hof ham sandwich
S.G. Most talented
@@ChooseFreshAtSubway No hes not
ChooseFreshAtSubway he’s second, Peyton Manning is first, Brady is not more talented than Rodgers, but he is a better QB in the NFL
In a Brett Kollman video (another great film analyst that you guys should check), he pointed that he should throw with his leg behind his lead foot like this
LF
BF
That generates more torque and power leading to increase in velocity, power, yeah accuracy
You should post your podcast on Spotify. It you help make your info more available!!!
Sean Mitchell SOS IS on Spotify!
As a diehard Bay Area sports fan I really hope he recovers well and starts to get the 49ers back into the playoffs
2:00 wasnt garapolos fault he saw his RB there he thought the RB would take care of the blitz and the RB should have gone for the guy who arrived fiest tbh
I want to know what the niners are going to do with Alfred Morris
You got to take in to consideration that the pass protection wasnt there.
CAN YOU ANALYZE TOP SAFETYS IN 2019 DRAFT CLASS...WHICH SAFETY WOULD WORK BEST WITH DJ AND THE CHARGERS
In defense if Harrison is blitzing odds are your going down
Ik for sure if you do one about the bills I’ll be the first one to put it up in the fans Facebook page
can you do an analysis on the backup Mullen?
With the titans needing to make a decision about his contract this year do a break down about Marcus Mariota
I don't think I have seen one of these where you were down on the Guy your analyzing
Are they all going to be success stories?
SleepingGiant Nah he has plenty of videos where he's critical of the players he analyzing. The Haskins and Metcalf analysis videos are a couple that come to mind.
