as a giants fan, i was originally very confused and mad over the jones pick. after watching your daniel jones analysis video and watching this now, i feel a lot better about the pick.
I actually did like his explanation of what happened with that pick but there's just no amount of excuses that justify the Giants missing out on extra draft capital. *Nobody* was picking Jones in the 1st half of the 1st round, and if you go back about 3 weeks to 1 month of videos for Strong Opinion Sports, this guy(sorry, forgot his name) said he wasn't high on Jones and that picking him early was a mistake.
@@toasternfriends3329 Daniel Jones is a a top 10 pick. I wish he would be fell to m6 Skins. Very smart QB. He was the at least the 2nd best QB of this draft. You do t k ow what Miami, Cincy, Debcet or Washibgtin would be done
The more I watch this guy, the more I like him. Someone who backs his opinion by doing his homework and gives an intelligent analysis (unlike a majority of the rest of the "experts"). Hope you make it, man. You have a new fan.
As a penn state fan, I'm going to be biased in favor of trace mcsorley. He led the lions for three years and holds the record for all time winning qb. He struggled last year with an inadequate receiving corp who could never get open. He constantly had to make tight throws and his numbers suffered as a result. So he adapted. He takes what the defense gives him, which led him to be more of a scrambler which hes very solid at. Overall, his sheer competitiveness won us a lot of games that I think we shouldn't have won. Although he might not be a prototypical nfl quarterback, I think hes well rounded, adaptable, and made pretty good decision. A sixth round pick for him was a steal, in my very biased opinion.
I unexpectedly came across your channel a week ago. And I can honestly say that your analysis, commentary, and your knack for explaining X's and O's, technique and otherwise is EXCEPTIONAL young man. It was a shame that Tyree Jackson went undrafted, but I can see why. He did have trouble with his accuracy. I think it was smart for the Buffalo Bills to pick him up to be a potential backup since he has similar traits to Josh Allen.
Jorge Garcia Yeah his mechanics are really raw, as a matter of fact, he never really had a personal quarterbacks coach/trainer growing up, so he’s kind of had to learn throwing mechanics on his own. As a Bills fan I don’t think Allen is a total bust but he still has some work to do for sure - because of that, grabbing Tyree is still kind of questionable to me but makes sense from a measurables perspective. Maybe hope that having Matt Barkley and Derek Anderson in the room will help Tyree like it helped Allen toward the 2nd half of last season?

I have really gained a love for studying film, and my predictions of how good draft prospects have been pretty good ever since. I almost nailed the 2018 QB class. Pre draft, I ordered them Jackson, Mayfield, Darnold, Allen, Rosen. Allen was the only one I was wrong about. I saw him as Jay Cutler with a better attitude. I now think Allen is a lot more like Mahomes. I think if Allen gets some real weapons like Mahomes does in Hill, Hardman, and Kelce, Allen could easily be a top QB.

Zac great stuff. Just watched your Kyler Murray film analysis. Glad to see my alma mater, Army West Point, in there. I’d love to see you break down the triple option offense run by the service academies (Army, Navy, Air Force). They’re pretty unique especially at the D-I level in college, and they give teams trouble. For example, Army was out matched by Oklahoma but took them into OT and almost won. I’d love to hear your thoughts on why that offensive play style is so effective with QBs like Kelvin Hopkins and Malcom Perry
So I know Stidham’s dad, I worked in the same place as him for a little bit. He’s a cool dude, told me a bunch of funny stories about Corey Coleman and Kerryon Johnson when they were still in college.
I'd love to get your thoughts: I think if you remember Dwayne Haskins' first game against Michigan, when J.T. Barrett was injured, you can see just how quickly Haskins is able to adjust and how ready he is to learn under pressure. I knew it wouldn't happen this year, but I would love to see Dwayne Haskins as the backup to Tom Brady under coach Belichick; I agree with all the problems you bring up about Haskins, but I really think that he can be a great franchise quarterback in a very short time. P.S. Keep up the great work, man. You and I are the same age and it's super inspiring to see you pursuing your dreams.
I don’t mind the Jones pick but at 6? Nahhhhh that’s just a big noooo in my books when someone like drew lock fell into the mid second round just says jones was gonna be available in the second
Ink_TX the one risk was that right before the draft it got out that DJ was at the top of the Giants draft board. Normally you can let Jones slide but all of a sudden there is a bunch of teams looking for a QB that can hold the Giants for ransom if they gamble on letting Jones slide. Although I agree that at best he’s worth a mid to low first.
@@MiamiMarkYT Certainly possible, but if they are as high on him as is being reported than they may have just not wanted to take any risk. Bottom line is no one will be talking about it being a reach a few years from now if he ends up panning out.
Wanheda actually, I feel like people will talk about this pick solely for the reason that Haskins is on the redskins and will be playing the giants multiple times a year.
Easton Stick is practically a young new gen phillip rivers with legs. watch his interviews, watch his play. He’s genuinely a good quarterback and went extremely unnoticed. Watch him come play at my school UNI in 2018 and he had over 200 yards and 6 touchdowns 0 interceptions like it was nothing. He doesn’t cuss, he’s just a traditional dude. A perfect person to study under rivers. Had a 91 PFF grade too. Chargers took him right before the eagles as you mentioned, because the eagles were showing interest and wanted to take him.
The Kyler Murray and Baker Mayfield success stories really make you wonder if/when Lincoln Riley will make the jump to the NFL. The offenses he runs are really sophisticated and is honestly begging for pro talent to be truly unleashed. What do you think about Jalen Hurts, Austin Kendall and Tanner Mordecai? I feel like they could all be pretty successful, and if one or two of those guys make the jump to the NFL, Riley will go up with them.
JonS23 Arizona signed a few FA and their line is healthy. He should be fine especially since he has legs and can run if shit hits the fan again with the O-Line
EstParum see, even knowing he would never win us a Super Bowl, I still would be excited if we went back in time in drafted him again. One of the all time greats I wish I had the privilege of watching in person.
Lol the Redskins did EXACTLY what you said they would, put him before he ready and it was against a defense ranked like 30th so it's clear they did not prepare him for it
Funny how you changed your mind on Kyler Murray. A year ago, you weren't a fan. It's funny how we can flip flop so fast on how we feel about a QB. I do it all the time.

Really like your videos. Good information delivered very well. I believe you have the chops to do this kind of stuff full time. Keep it up!
Moving on up man! Keep up the great work!
Watching your old videos and comparing your prediction accuracy to most “experts” is mind blowing😳
I hope that 10 years from now I will see you on a national sports program and I am able to say "yep, I remember watching him on his RUclips channel". 😎 Great analysis as always! And I wanted the Panthers to get Will Grier🤔 but I couldn't see it happening and then BAM! It happens. 😁
dude your channel is amazing ‼️
Zac great stuff. Just watched your Kyler Murray film analysis. Glad to see my alma mater, Army West Point, in there. I’d love to see you break down the triple option offense run by the service academies (Army, Navy, Air Force). They’re pretty unique especially at the D-I level in college, and they give teams trouble. For example, Army was out matched by Oklahoma but took them into OT and almost won. I’d love to hear your thoughts on why that offensive play style is so effective with QBs like Kelvin Hopkins and Malcom Perry
GREAT JOB!
Love the content keep it coming!
You should do a film analysis on the 3 auburn quarterbacks competing for the starting job!
you’re awesome bro. always love what you post. keep it up!
Great analysis! Subscribed!!
So I know Stidham’s dad, I worked in the same place as him for a little bit. He’s a cool dude, told me a bunch of funny stories about Corey Coleman and Kerryon Johnson when they were still in college.
Nice job man, loving the content.
I like your analysis. Would be good if you could have had a picture, name, team, round and pick number in the corner as you talk about these guys
Great channel man love the videos
Best football analysis channel
This dude is awesome!
Miami Mark At 6? Still not worth the reach on the draft pick value for value. If anything, wait until 17 which is still a reach.
Wanheda actually, I feel like people will talk about this pick solely for the reason that Haskins is on the redskins and will be playing the giants multiple times a year.
Don’t trip Coach PAT made Keenum look like a pro bowler.remember and he made Foles look good as well .I trust the coach will make him decent enough.
Came to watch this after Gardner Minshew was able to beat the Titans for their first win. Three good TD scoring passes. One of them dropped.
Always on point man! I love your takes, so level headed and entertaining to watch. Glad you're back!
I subscribed and follow now. you have a bright future sir.
Minshew just played in denver. Jags won. Helluva game and he led a comeback win.
87 °f.
Yo s/o David Blough , he was the Purdue quarterback and signed with the Browns !!
That account really exploded. Already got almost 80000subs. I can remember you having around 30000 months ago
This thing is going to blow up when the season starts
Easton Stick is practically a young new gen phillip rivers with legs. watch his interviews, watch his play. He’s genuinely a good quarterback and went extremely unnoticed. Watch him come play at my school UNI in 2018 and he had over 200 yards and 6 touchdowns 0 interceptions like it was nothing. He doesn’t cuss, he’s just a traditional dude. A perfect person to study under rivers. Had a 91 PFF grade too. Chargers took him right before the eagles as you mentioned, because the eagles were showing interest and wanted to take him.
Dwayne Haskins might just end up being the Giants new worst nightmare
The Kyler Murray and Baker Mayfield success stories really make you wonder if/when Lincoln Riley will make the jump to the NFL. The offenses he runs are really sophisticated and is honestly begging for pro talent to be truly unleashed. What do you think about Jalen Hurts, Austin Kendall and Tanner Mordecai? I feel like they could all be pretty successful, and if one or two of those guys make the jump to the NFL, Riley will go up with them.
He already has pro talent.
he won't move up to the NFL think about it he loves the oklahoma sooners he is a younger offensive minded nick sabin
6 months ago you said kyler murray wasn’t a johnny manziel or tim tebow, and wouldn’t be an NFL quarterback 😂 a lot can change
Man I don't like promoting videos or RUclipsrs in general. But your different I like this I like your work and what your doing, keep it up
Can u do one on Tua? He looks amazing from my POV as a Bama fan but the champ game had me scratching my head.
Murray has no line to protect him😂 he gonna be running for his life😂
At least he is able to run for his life
JonS23 Arizona signed a few FA and their line is healthy. He should be fine especially since he has legs and can run if shit hits the fan again with the O-Line
As Boise State fan, I want to hope the best for Brett Rypien, but I see your point at the end about him. Anyways, love the show you put together.
Dolphins drafted a rookie called Marino. Big hopes for him. Maybe they get to the super bowl.
EstParum see, even knowing he would never win us a Super Bowl, I still would be excited if we went back in time in drafted him again. One of the all time greats I wish I had the privilege of watching in person.
You had Daniel Jones scouted perfectly. He has been really good this year and he looks like a keeper.
Still waiting for that Easton Stick vid ! Can't wait !
Yeah I share all your vids on my Facebook and tell all my friends and coworkers who care about your channel and ability.
I love a qb who is “well-spoken.”
You were totally right about Dwayne Haskins lol
Lol the Redskins did EXACTLY what you said they would, put him before he ready and it was against a defense ranked like 30th so it's clear they did not prepare him for it
Funny how you changed your mind on Kyler Murray. A year ago, you weren't a fan. It's funny how we can flip flop so fast on how we feel about a QB. I do it all the time.
Im just stunned Jones went over Haskins Locke and Grier I respect the balls but if it doesn't work oh man the shit will fly
