This is a 12-minute deep stretch yoga class for hips, thighs, glutes, and low back. We do all seated and supine poses (no standing) to help relieve tension and tightness in the lower body. This short practice can help improve mobility and flexibility and promote relaxation. There is no Savasana at the end of this one. There is some soft background music.

Thank you Maris, for this practice. I woke up this morning feeling rather tired. And this was perfect for me. I have a question - mandukasana - should the hips be moving towards the floor? Or do they stay up in the air? I was not able to bring my hips down.
Hi! Hips are moving towards the floor but they don't have to get there. :) Mine are also slightly elevated from the floor.

Hi! Love this, but ...'the leg back foot out' moves (like frog) need a warning. Hip replacement doc said it can pop an artificial hip out. I couldn't do this one.
