      Stretching is an important area of fitness mobility is something we need to work on for our later years, I'm an ex-dancer and I still stretch every day to keep the flexibility I gained from my dance training days, but for people who don't dance stretching is great for the body and you feel so light afterwards 30 minutes a day is all you need to dedicate my students have improved a lot doing my stretch exercises

      Its obviously lots of practice but apparently its also partially genetic? I had a dancer friend once tell me that I have naturally open hips because I can just do this kind of stretch, so what I'm saying is, don't be discouraged, you can definitely get there but don't be too hard on yourself, some people don't realize that this may not be as easy for others because they were born being able to do this

    • @ghostofparfit3750
      @ghostofparfit3750 3 года назад +1

      @@misscutenar2333 It's definitely not genetic at all. With practice it can be done, with years of neglect it can't.

      @@ghostofparfit3750 Would you really say at all though? I am really not all that practiced, definitely a lot less than some people I know who cant do it, so it being partially genetic or just based on how your body is built is the only thing I can think of to explain that

    I have been practicing Muay Thai for the last 2,3 years and had trouble with flexibility so I started stretching to get my flex up. Of all the people that I have watched, Madfit is the BEST one, her routine is variable so you dont feel like doing the same thing all over again, also she breaks everything down for you not just like "next we are doing the pigeon pose" without explaining how it is supposed to feel or look like. Most important, it really works best compare to other channels. My kicks not only get higher but that flex from doing these stretches provide more mobility to my hip, which means I could rotate my hips even more to generate more power.

  • @hunterthomsen3843
    @hunterthomsen3843 5 месяцев назад

    I love the sequence and timing, especially the lighter stretches leading up to the deeper ones. One thought is to mention or encourage breathing throughout to help relieve tension. Maybe even add some guided breath during the deep exercises (e.g. "we're going to take five deep breaths, one... two.. etc." Or maybe something like "as you breathe out imagine releasing stale, tense energy from your hips... and as you breathe in imagine sending fresh, lighthearted energy to your hips" - or something like that)

    I’ve been missing out on these destress videos. I feel so much better doing these on rest days. I love the dance routines for a great workout and these are perfect for a well rounded mind to center and reset the body. Please keep making them, hope you are well and healthy.

    Such a good session. I go ski touring a lot and got pretty bad back pain from tense lower body muscles. Your routine helped me get rid of all the pain and it feels great overall! Thanks!

    Hi Maddie, would love to see more stretching videos, this is something that I neglect quite a bit even though I’m sure it would be beneficial (I’m a cyclist and runner and think my muscles are generally really tight). Some extra motivation to get into it more often would be amazing!

    This is exactly the stretching video I needed. It’s not too intensive and I m so so relaxed.now. I like the quiet moments holding the stretches. I was back at the gym in the fall and injured my shoulder lifting too much weight. These videos are the right place for me to start back . Thank you !!

    Hi there. I am newcomer in your trainings. My son's girlfriend sent me your links for beginners. So I started yesterday with great enthusiasm. Today I am completely broken, couldn't get out of my bed. :) :) :) Laughing of myself all the time. So they sent me this link to recover. Will do in a minute. Hope will feel better and better every day. Love the feeling and atmosphere of your exercises, #MadFit! Thank You!

    This is a super 20-minute stretch routine. I sometimes suffer from tight hamstrings, as I play a lot of sport. Great to put a video out there for people to follow along to, as so many suffer from a lack of flexibility. This is really helpful for everyone. Great job, Maddie. Carlos & Bex x

    Hi! 👋🏾 really great video. I’ve been doing this after my leg day sessions and have noticed I’m much less sore the day after. I would love it if made a video focusing on arms/upper body and maybe back? Thanks again for the awesome stretch routine!

    Maddie, I hardly ever repeat exercise videos, but I have come back to this one several times. It is so effective and intense. Thanks so much.
