Sliiiiiiding into the weekend with this splits stretch!! I know a lot of you guys have been requesting this one so I hope you enjoy!! Remember...flexibility takes a lot of time, patience, and consistency! Splits won't come overnight. But if you practice daily, you'll see progress in no time! ❤️
Hi Maddie!! Thank you for this amazing stretch! I felt lots of blood flow and it's crazy because a few months ago I stopped dancing at my studio and began at home workouts. I've been stretching almost every day for the past few months and my mobility and flexibility has increased TREMENDOUSLY! I am now able to do my splits on both sides with no pain! Thank you so much Maddie love you very much❤❤
When I was 17 I was so close to doing a split (I was also a Latin dancer). Now I'm 24 and in terrible shape. I don't even have the energy to work out for 10 minutes because my stress is fighting my body. So I decided to start stretching again. I'm on day 2 currently. Wish me luck 🤞🏻

@@elmabirchall5363 it took me a few months, little at a time don’t over do it and you will get. I still can’t touch the floor but I get a great stretch with this stretch.

i finally can do my splits guyyysss!!! it took me about 4 and a half month, and I stretched nearly every day (but bodies are different, some can do the split in 2 weeks some need to stretch for some month)

I'm trying to do this stretch every day to increase my flexibility. Getting the splits is my goal and I'm determined to do it, no matter how long it takes.
I don’t have time to do this now, but I just wanted to say that your content this year????? ✨TOP TIER✨ I work out to your videos almost every day and it’s done wonders for me, I appreciate your work, THANK YOU!

I’m about 12 weeks post partum and your page is so perfect for me to squeeze a quick workout in on my bedroom or living room floor in between my 4 girls’ needs - I love that you keep your workouts simple and to the point so a 10 min workout is actually 10 min! As a male this is quite challenging. It's giving me the stretch I need. I will soon one day be able strut into any situation and drop down to the splits. Thanks madfit
OMG THANK YOU. I do gymnastics and I can already do the splits. But due to Covid I haven't done classes for 6 or more months. Now my mum finally registered me again! My coach said that since I haven't been in the gym for a long time, I will need to be tested to see what level I'm at. I started freaking out bc since I hadn't done gymnastics for a LONG time I couldn't do the splits etc. So I was out of practice. YOU'RE MY SAVING GRACE- I don't know how you do it but, I couldn't do the splits yesterday...did this routine and got it perfectly again. THANK YOU SO MUCH. Now I'm not as stressed for the test.
I used to be a dancer when I was 13 and I could do all the splits but after I broke my leg and arm from skate boarding at my friend's party I completely lost my flexibility and I was so sad I couldn't bother stretch and dance any more, but I have been watching and taking part in this video for 3 weeks now and I finally got my leg left splits and I'm working to do the right leg splits, this really helped thanks! 😁
So something exciting happened yesterday and it’s that I got to my splits thanks to you I wanted to do it since 2019 then I gave up after three days later but I tried again and I think from the start of February I started having yoga practice and that made me get a little flexible so I tried every single day and I was actually able to do stretching everyday I never thought that because I’m that person the gives up automatically but thanks to you it was day 15 of stretching I was able to get the my SPLITS yay!!! keep doing what you do cause it helped a lot ILYSM 😊💖
LOVE THIS. As a dancer myself, I love having other dancers (like yourself) make workout videos. Especially splits! I was wondering if sometime you could make a thirty-minute front splits stretch and a fifteen-minute middle/straddle split? If you do, THANK YOU!
Thank you, my daughter (figure skater) was trying to watch someone else's tutorial and was getting frustrated. I told her 1. They weren't holding stretches long enough. 2. They were switching sides of the body every other move, and 3. They were giving very little instruction. I found your tutorial shortly after and this made all the difference. We will continue with yours. 🙂
Im a dancer and I was born not flexible so its hard being a dancer without being flexible. Thanku for creating this video. Its short, affective and it has helped me alot.

I am a few months away from 60 years old and I am determined to get my splits. I am very close. I say 95% there on one side and 97% on the other. Your video is one of the best stretching and prep for doing splits!!! Thanks !!!
ok but you’ve made me so flexible in the last year with all of your amazing stretch videos that i can almost do the splits the fist time i tried this video
I did it in day of 7 Day 1- ✅ Day 2-✅ Day 3-❌(forgotten)😅😅 Day 4-✅(little bit of pain, but it's ok) Day 5-✅ Day 6-✅ Day 7-✅ Thank you for this amazing split workout 💜💜
Really good video! I'm glad you kept reminding us to drop that hip to the floor when stretching. Our bodies get lazy so I constantly needed that reminder!
My sister wanted me to try this. This was my first time trying it, and I learned one thing: I'm very inflexible in this area (mainly my hamstrings; my hip flexors aren't too bad at all). But that just means I get to enjoy a longer journey toward the end goal, I suppose. I can't wait to experience it getting easier each time. Thanks for this one!
Just did it for the second time and I already noticed a bit more range; exciting! I've also been doing other Madfit videos, which I think has helped as well. I can't wait to keep going!
@@joelletecle8619 I confess, I unfortunately haven't used this video as often as I was planning, but I have still been working on my flexibility as a whole. I did do part of this workout just a few days ago, however, and I was pleasantly surprised that I was more flexible with it than I had been before, even though I wasn't specifically focusing on the splits as much as I had intended. My sister got her full splits using this video, though, so it definitely works! Thank you for asking! 😊 Have you used this workout in your routine?
Just started this today. I usually feel really stiff but i really felt the stretch pushing my hips out! Great tip. I'll be using this in my routine everyday and will update in a week to see how I go
I injured my hamstring going too deep into splits in my trapeze class last year, and I’m finally feeling brave enough to train splits again! Thank you for this video! There are tons of “get splits fast” videos on YT, but to me it’s a green flag that you said right off the bat that splits take time. It’s well worth the time to avoid getting hurt!
I used to be so flexible, I currently work 12 hour nights shifts and I come home with lower back pain. I would do the stretches from when I did track and field in highschool but that didn't cut it. Came across your 7 min stretch vid and Gave it a try 3 days ago and have already felt a difference in my lower back. I did just fallow along with this vid despite the challenge while still being moderately flexible, my lower back and legs feel much better.
I have looked at other splits routines and yours is definitely the best. You give verbal instructions and encouragement all the time, which makes a big difference to motivation!
Using this routine and another 30 min is a god send for someone who finds motivation difficult. I swap inbetween a 30 min and 15 min depending on my mood so I don’t miss a stretch and omg it makes it so much less stressful
45 years old and training my splits to help with flexibility and back pain - it’s working a treat and I’m close on both legs - woohoo 🙌🏾 This routine is perfect and have made it part of my bedtime routine - thank you. 🙏🏾
Thankyou Maddie. People need to stop believing that they can do the splits in 1 week. So many videos out there. Take your time and don't rush it. You will do real damage. This is a great video.💗🔥
Trying this everyday for 30 days Day 1: Went okay, still pretty far from the ground and feeling tight Day 2: Some stretching felt good, especially the pigeon...feeling excited Day 3: Fell asleep yesterday but did it right when I woke up, my left felt tighter but I truly saw the difference in what squaring your hips mean. I also went lower on my right side which was exciting. Day 4: Can fully touch the ground in the first stretch where I was holding my shin before! Day 5: Feeling pretty good, missed a day but I can fully go down on both sides with each stretch, I was getting upset that I didn't have my split but it's also only Day 5 while missing a day or two in between, so good improvement. Day 6: The left was feeling pretty tight today but I notice when my form goes wackadoo, the right felt better but I'm still pretty far from the ground and feeling defeated but gotta remember it's only Day 6!
@@welana3404 Basically like she says, think of the back leg shooting forward and the front leg shooting back, making sure they both meet in the middle as much as possible. The goal is for the hamstring to be the main part you're stretching and once you do it, you'll really feel it in the hamstring in a good way.
I am one of the least flexible people and I have no interest in getting my splits (well I guess that would be cool so maybe minimal interest) however with a desk job work from home I've noticed my hips and lower back have been so sore and stiff. This was an awesome stretch for some hip mobility and exactly what I needed to loosen up a little! Will be incorporating this little circuit regularly for sure!
Maddie one request would be, can please do the middle or straddle splits stretches, cause I am getting pain whenever I am doing it, and I think I am doing it wrong.
Watch a video on the Mechanics of a middle split. The reason why it doesn‘t work is because your bones are in the way. It only works the normal way until your have bone on bone. For gerring further you need to readjust your whole body a little, after that you can make a middle split. :P Have a nice day
I'm 33 and my winter goal is to do front splits for the first time in my life! I am almost at the floor after doing this video almost every day since summer!!! Thanks madfit!!!! ❤ This stretch feels SO GOOD for my back and hips which give me issues if I don't stretch or stay mobile. I got a fitbit and it's helping me get 10,000 steps a day which, combined with stretches, prevents flare ups 👵😅
Girl, I've been training splits for a minute and this was so challenging. I got my split on the right side finally, it wasn't the prettiest but it was there. I'm going to add this into my routine. You're amazing, thank you!
So pleased I've found your video! I have saved this as something to start working on in a few months time. I'm 53 now and was very flexible up until my mid 30's. I could do the forward splits easily. Then I had a breakdown and have been battling both mental and physical health issues since. Altho I do stretching every few days I can feel.how tight my groin, hip, and hamstrings are compared to how loose they used to be. Good news is I just tried the first exercise stretch to test myself and I can feel my muscles remember which has given me hope. It's a goal of mine to be able to do the splits again, whether it takes me a couple of years, I want to do it and be the old me!! ❤❤😊
I am starting this today! I am a dancer but I've gotten less and less flexible over the years, but I'm hoping this would help me out, and finally achieve the splits
Exactly what I was looking for!!! You also don’t say “ hey, you can do the splits after this video!” I appreciate the honesty and this is a great stretch!!!!
I did the "30 Days to Splits" routine that you see online, and after 30 days of faithfully sticking to that routine I was still only halfway there. But THIS routine works!! I made far more progress in much less time than with the "30 Days to Splits" routine, and now I can *truly* do the splits! Thanks, Mads! ☺️
I've been doing splits stretching for a month now and I was waiting for your video to incorporate to my routine. 😇 Thank you Maddie. You're making my wishes come true, without me telling you 🤗
I really like this routine. You hold the stretches long enough and it flows like a proper routine, rather than some other videos which feel like you're rushing through a list of random stretches. Have you done a routine like this for middle splits?
this is the only video that has actually worked for me to get my left splits! i’ve always been naturally flexible in my right and loads of stretching videos didn’t provide good instructions and made me pull muscles so much in my left but you are amazing!
In love with the progression here Maddie! Thank you so much for walking us all through this, the splits always seem so unattainable, you make it reachable.
I could do splits when i was like 8? Months ago i decided to do them again and with time and breaks and all i always watched this video and followed your steps. And now i can do them. Thank you so much thats the best split scretch video i’ve ever seen!! (Btw im 14 now)
I’ve been doing this stretching almost for a month (3-4times a week), and I’m so much more flexible right now! I’m also much more closer to my splits , so thank you Madie for your amazing workouts !
@@MrsLiarectioner I started with this one, then I found an another stretching routine from another coach and got my front splits in two months and middle split in 2,5 months. I’ve been stretching every single day.
A wonderful routine. Really very effective. I had a lot of fun and managed to reach the two splits easily. A little easier with the right leg. However, thanks to this training of yours I will be able to improve them. 🙏Thank You so much
This was worth it! Great video. Just getting my splits back. My doctor said I’d never do splits again because of my right hip impingement, so I believed that B.S for three years. Well look at me and I’m feeling better than ever at 46! Thank you!!!
Okay, I’m gonna do this for 10 days, and see if I can get my splits😊 Note: I run track and stretch an obscene amount, so I’m already pretty close. If you’re not that flexible, and you wanna get your splits, I do NOT recommend trying to get it in 10 days. Your probably just gonna end up hurt. So pace yourself, and take as long as you need. Thought I would try this stretch for increased flexibility and I love it. I could feel the difference in the flexibilty of my left hip from my right as we moved from the left side to the right. Another great stretch.
Thank you sooooo much!! When I first started walking till I was 13 I was a toe walker, meaning I couldn’t put my feet flat on the ground, I’m still not able to do the splits but for the FIRST TIME EVER I’m able to put my leg straight, I will forever be grateful for this.
Thanks for the honesty! I have given up or passed by many videos due to unrealistic promises. But You had me in the first 35 seconds! Glad I stumbled across this video and stayed

great for runners, thank you. more running strength and stretch please - would resonate as things open up and we are a bit stiff from lack of running competitions. thank you for keeping us sane through this!
I almost died but this was a good stretch. Brilliant - I do quite a bit of stretching but trying to get the full splits has become a goal, the vids I’ve come across for guidance online are usually from 10 yr old gym buddies & I feel a bit silly. Far better (and more trustworthy) to do it with someone more mature & experienced 🙂
This took the life out of me but I loved it, I was very flexible in my high school years, now I am a 23 employee and I neglected my body so much, I want to regain my stength and be flexible again, I will try to do the splits before 2022. Wish me luck.

Hi everyone from the UK. I just love this class today and I have every intention to do this everyday before I go to work. Its important to give to myself my peace before I start my day. ❤
This was so awesome! I got such an amazing stretch and as someone who never thought I could be flexible, I definitely will be consistently incorporating this into my everyday!
Thank you for doing these videos! I just recently started finding out about you and I really enjoy that you walk people through coordination, and help your people come through and not shy away from a challenge. As someone with weak knees and someone who overstretched and strained his quads trying to work toward a split months ago, I often require padding for my them with either a towel or yoga block, especially if I have my back foot flexed. Otherwise, I just tend to flatten the foot on the mat. Would be helpful for beginners to keep those modifications in mind.
I love it! I'm doing it everyday, sometimes compared with another stretch from this channel :D It really helps to get back into my splits! Also for overall flexibility! Recommend 100%!!
My sister and I did this stretching routine every day, and I got my split in 4 weeks (I’ve had them in the past) and my sister, who's never had hers, got it in 11 weeks. Thank you so much for the great video!
I quit figure skating during late 2019 and haven’t done my split stretches since then, I could fully go down in my split again after 1,5 years of not doing any split related stretches at all! Great video :)
Thanks for talking about hip placement in your video!! I started doing a similar set of stretches a few months ago and had no idea I was doing it wrong until my roommate (she’s a dancer) corrected me. Form is so important in stretches and your video is perfect for this beginner!!
Also leaving updates everyday here to motivate myself to do the splits! I really hope I can do it! Day 1: Barely got through the routine, feel like crying since I can barely do half the stretches, but we'll get there hopefully ♥ Day 2: Still not able to fully do the stretches, it felt like it got harder, but I can feel results (May be delusional lol)
@Fabi OMG Thank you for the motivation!!! Right after I started, I got wildly sick and had to go to the ER. I will be starting again tomorrow when I've fully recovered! 😄❤️

How many days did you practice a week?! Which other videos did you do. That’s an amazing achievement

Thank you so much Mad! I have been doing your split workout for about 2 weeks, and I have my front splits! I am so happy. Sending Lots of Love 😊

Wow 2 weeks? How stretched were you before that?
ok but you’ve made me so flexible in the last year with all of your amazing stretch videos that i can almost do the splits the fist time i tried this video

Wow it only took you six days?! That's amazing!
can you do it now

After doing this routine I almost got my front splits! This stretch routine for front splits is amazing!
How is ist going
@@joelletecle8619 I confess, I unfortunately haven't used this video as often as I was planning, but I have still been working on my flexibility as a whole. I did do part of this workout just a few days ago, however, and I was pleasantly surprised that I was more flexible with it than I had been before, even though I wasn't specifically focusing on the splits as much as I had intended. My sister got her full splits using this video, though, so it definitely works!
Thank you for asking! 😊
Have you used this workout in your routine?
@@ponyxaviors4491 how is it now?
Just started this today. I usually feel really stiff but i really felt the stretch pushing my hips out! Great tip. I'll be using this in my routine everyday and will update in a week to see how I go
How did it go?
How is it going?
ANSWER US!!!!!!!! DID YOU SPLIT OR NOT
bro she’s dead
45 years old and training my splits to help with flexibility and back pain - it’s working a treat and I’m close on both legs - woohoo 🙌🏾
This routine is perfect and have made it part of my bedtime routine - thank you. 🙏🏾
i used to dance and have my right split... this definitely was a reminder that stretching consistently matters 😬
Me too and I was used to jump into my right spilts and now I’m like an old grandma
Thankyou Maddie. People need to stop believing that they can do the splits in 1 week. So many videos out there. Take your time and don't rush it. You will do real damage. This is a great video.💗🔥
Trying this everyday for 30 days
Day 1: Went okay, still pretty far from the ground and feeling tight
Day 2: Some stretching felt good, especially the pigeon...feeling excited
Day 3: Fell asleep yesterday but did it right when I woke up, my left felt tighter but I truly saw the difference in what squaring your hips mean.
Best of luck 👍🙂🙂
Good luck!
Thanks!
can you explain to me what squaring the hips is please ? I'm not sure I'm doing it right !
This stretch feels SO GOOD for my back and hips which give me issues if I don't stretch or stay mobile. I got a fitbit and it's helping me get 10,000 steps a day which, combined with stretches, prevents flare ups 👵😅
So proud of you !! Great work and great perseverance 🙌🏼
You got this!
and? how is it?
update !?
Any updates?
You're making my wishes come true, without me telling you 🤗
Just what I needed! Always on time ♥️
I guess I am late here, but what an incredible combination of narration, voice, music, tutorials. Madfit made me a MadFan.
I also got my front splits 😊 youtube.com/@crazyumsi?si=V9pViSwXnf3H3sze?sub_confirmation=1
I’m also much more closer to my splits , so thank you Madie for your amazing workouts !
did u do just this video? or did u do others too?
@@MrsLiarectioner I started with this one, then I found an another stretching routine from another coach and got my front splits in two months and middle split in 2,5 months. I’ve been stretching every single day.
@@DecoupageIdeasfordesign can u send me the link of the other video? thank you!
A wonderful routine.
Really very effective.
I had a lot of fun and managed to reach the two splits easily.
A little easier with the right leg.
However, thanks to this training of yours I will be able to improve them.
🙏Thank You so much
Hi Maddie im struggling to get my middle split done will you do some video about it as well ?? Thanks love you my biggest inspiration ❤️❤️
Yes. Agreed
This was worth it! Great video. Just getting my splits back. My doctor said I’d never do splits again because of my right hip impingement, so I believed that B.S for three years. Well look at me and I’m feeling better than ever at 46! Thank you!!!
I think this is the best stretch video out there. For the first time, I can actually feel the flexibility after doing this only once.
Okay, I’m gonna do this for 10 days, and see if I can get my splits😊
Note: I run track and stretch an obscene amount, so I’m already pretty close. If you’re not that flexible, and you wanna get your splits, I do NOT recommend trying to get it in 10 days. Your probably just gonna end up hurt. So pace yourself, and take as long as you need.

Thank you sooooo much!! When I first started walking till I was 13 I was a toe walker, meaning I couldn’t put my feet flat on the ground, I’m still not able to do the splits but for the FIRST TIME EVER I’m able to put my leg straight, I will forever be grateful for this.
Amazing routine! Been doing this for around 1.5 weeks and can see huge improvements already. Hope to be able to do splits soon, thank you Maddie! ❤️

Really love these types of dancer/sculpt routines, targets a different set of muscles and body needs. Thanks for all you do Maddie
I felt really stiff and did this once! I literally have both of my splits now!!! 💪🏽💪🏽
I quit figure skating during late 2019 and haven’t done my split stretches since then, I could fully go down in my split again after 1,5 years of not doing any split related stretches at all! Great video :)
