This is the best channel on the internet. Full of sensible common-sense information for the elderly who want to keep themselves in good shape. The 'adjustments' for those with arthritic knees are truly brilliant. I was over-50 about 30 years ago I still teach ballroom dancing, so i need my knees, theyre important. These videos are so so beneficial for me
I'm 54, have had a long term back injury, have always worried about my back 'going' on me, and had long term issues with my knees (sometimes the pain is intense). However, I've been doing four of Will's exercises, and I can honestly say that the strength and muscle tone in my ankles, calves, legs and lower back is so much more superior than it has been. Hats off to you, Will...you've made me want to get out and about more.
That is absolutely fantastic to hear, I'm so pleased you've noticed such brilliant results. Keep up the excellent work you're doing and I'm sure you'll continue to reap the rewards. I'm wishing you all the best!
I have never crossed one foot over the other while turning. Also, I am at the gym 3 days a week. 80 yrs. Mow a huge lawn and shovel SNOW,long double drive.
Thanks Will,I do the one where I slide down the wall but after a few reps I can feel my knees are not happy so I will change my exercise to these trying all of them until I find the best one for less knees pain,I shouldn’t complain at 78gears old I’m still alive and kicking 😂😂😊❤️
I love this one Will! I’m 77 & trying to regain leg strength to get back to skiing after 2 seasons away! Easy regular squats seem to create some discomfort in both knees … one replaced and one in need of it! Thank you so much!
Hi Will. My wife asked why i like your channel and i said you’re a professional . I’m in my 70’s, taking an oral chemo that causes fatigue. The other side effect is muscle mass loss. I’m committed to improving the situation, just got your book, and am seeing my primary care doc today to see what I can do safely. Your videos are helpful and encouraging and finding them is a good part of my motivation to regain strength overall. Thanks for your help.
Thank you so much for your kind comment, I'm so pleased to hear you're enjoying my channel. I'm sorry to hear about the fatigue and muscle loss you're experiencing, but it's fantastic that you're prioritising action to help mitigate these negative symptoms. It's not always easy to stay motivated, but the results are well and truly worth the hard work. I'm wishing you all the very best!
I have been doing it with a slightly deflated basketball for years. I only recently tried it with a foam roller out of the blue. I loved the variation ideas and will defo incorporate them.
Love your instructions for seniors. It would be nice if you have a strength training dvd or something we can follow along with you on you tube.Keep up the good work. God bless you.❤ from USA.
I love Wills commitment to his work. All his advices are senior friendly, safe and effective. I gained good amount of flexibility and muscle tones. I am 79 years old and follow his guidance. May the divine bless his efforts and benifit countless persons seeking health. Thank you Dear Will.
Will, I'm 70 yo overweight person, my knee and feet hurt so bad I now can barely get up to stand and very painful ambulation, I'm in trouble now, can you suggest anything to help keep me out of a wheelchair? I'd appreciate any advice ❤❤
Hi Will, I tore the medial Meniscus in my left knee and it could not be repaired in surgery so it was removed. I'm 67 and have a lot of pain in this knee. I also had a stroke in January which affected my right leg. I was a nurse and had very strong legs from being on my feet all day. I just want to regain some strength in my legs but my left knee always stops me as it's so painful. Is there advice in the book to help with this problem? Thank you for your time.
Hi Will, can you please tell me the diameter and length of the foam roller that you are using? I want to get one on Amazon, but they have all different sizes. I have a deep tissue foam roller. Is that the same thing or do I need to buy a different one?
Love this thank you. Do you have any tips for improving heel weight baring for people with drop foot. I have managed to improve the dorsiflexion through years of exercises (foot drop from lower spinal disc prolapse that damaged the nerve late 2020) but I cannot bare any wight on the heel which slaps straight down when any weight is planted on it. Thanks for these great videos.
Haven’t tried this yet just watched. I guess one comment I might make as an old 71 year old is when putting your heels say two feet from the wall is there a danger of your feet slipping out from under you and you slamming down on your butt which could be very bad?

Great to hear you've already been implementing a version of this!
Definitely a very sensible channel for the elderly. I follow his videos . They are highly effective.
So pleased to hear you've found my videos helpful!
I use a balance ball in place of the foam roller to help with this movement. Your modifications to take stress off the knees are excellent. Thanks!
Same here!
Great to hear you found the modifications helpful!
I was going to say, I use a ball for this. It's awesome.

Pleased it came at the right time for you!
I’m 76 and do cycling and wide-stance half squats. I’m able to touch my butt to the floor while squatting.
I am so happy that I am still able to squat more than 100kg for reps on a weekly basis. I am 54. Hopefully I can maintain this many years longer.
Fantastic work!
Thank you
You're welcome!
Excellent exercises. Making a huge difference to us. 😅

Will I didn't get the video, how do I get it?
I do chair squats.
I have a question : can the foam roller put too much pressure on the vertebrate while rolling?
What is the length of the foam roller u r using?
What is the diameter of the foam roller u r using?
Mate, you need to repack and restack those rolled up towels. They are seriously untidy and badly stacked!
So I just bought your book on Amazon for a Kindle and it won't be available till October, I don't understand, are you still writing it?
When do I find the link for the 25 minute video?
Hi there - you can sign up for the video with the following link :) info.ht-physio.co.uk/video
No way I could even attempt these alone.
Can't find the link to the video for some reason. Can anyone help please?
