My Dad was night manager at the Fontainebleau Hotel in Miami Beach and was James Brown's drinking buddy after work... I remember the day he brought James Brown for dinner at my grandmother's house and James Brown hugged us kids...I was around 8 or 9 years old, so I remember him clearly...All that gold was impressionable to a child...

I got to see the God father of soul back in the late 80's in Dallas Tx the show was awesome. I'm so glad I got to see him. Rest in Peace James Brown.
I was thinking about him last night. He passed away on Christmas. I forgot the year. But broke national news
The year was 2006.
My parents went to a James Brown concert back when I was 5 in 1966. They took me and we sat up in the “nosebleed” section. The arena was packed. It was very hard to see, especially since I was so little. But all I remember was a lot of applause and cheering during his performance. There had been some booing after the opening act because it took a while for James to take the stage as the headliner. So people got restless and angry. But once James took the stage, it was like lightning struck. I wish I had been older so that I would now have a better memory of that concert. A true legend. RIP ❤🙏

IMO, as long as they're not louder than you, hearing everything going on in the vicinity actually adds to the realness of you being on site, in person. It enhances the viewing experience and makes it feel more like we're they're with you. Love your work! Thanks for all you do!
