I met Lamont Bentley once. I used to work with his mother and she would always talk about Lamont. She was so excited when he landed the role on Moesha. One time he picked her up after her work and that was when I met him. He was as friendly and high energy in person as he was on Moesha. I thought for sure he would be a big star, he was so talented and charismatic. What a loss! 😔

A close friend of mine died in a horrific car accident when we were still in high school. Sadly he wasn't wearing a seat belt and him and another schoolmate both died. The other passengers lived. But Joe immediately went right through the windshield killing him instantly. He was only 16 in January 1990. I still miss him soo much. Sad thing is, friends that was in the crash and lived told me they were on their way to my house to pick me up. Joe wanted them to.

I had a boyfriend who survived because he wasn't wearing a seat belt. The other 2 guys who he was friends with, had decided to kill themselves and crashed at over a hundred miles into a tree. Instant stop. He was ejected out through the back door of the station wagon The driver hit the steering wheel and the other guy had the engine on top of him. He was seriously injured though. His back was broken in 3 places and he had a skull fracture.

I know this affected you personally due to circumstances yet at the end of the day, our Lord gave us free will to make choices 🙏🏾. If you were the last thing on their minds on the way, should tell you how important you are to them. ❤❤I pray for your healing and I'm sure you gotta nice squad lookin after you. Gone yet never forgotten as they are still alive in my heart always. Our Lord's promise is to be united again. Never lose sight in that as it is helping me heal. You take care.

I saw a young man commit the "S" word by walking into the freeway. It was horrific. I immediately calledd 9-1-1. I remember it as being broad daylight but it was late at night...that is how my brain remembers it. There was light from the lights on the freeway. Four to six cars ran him over and only two pulled over and stopped to wait for police. We didn't judge them because it was nighttime and they could have easily thought it was an animal. It was very shocking for me and took me close to a year to come to terms with what I had seen. My sadness for this young man was off the charts. I sat and prayed for him until they had taken him away. He was someone's son.

@@randocalrissian347 Thank you for such kind sentiments, Rando. Yes, I'll never forget it though my brain does remember it as "fuzzy". Think of an animal that has been run over multiple times on the road and the human body is no different. I did find a small article in the paper the next day. He was 26, homeless and from Oregon. He had come across country to possibly live with relatives but they said no to that. I believe he also had a mental illness. It took over 4 hrs for the police and coroner's office to do what they do.
Your kindness in saying that you hoped he felt my prayers was so touching to me. Thank you ❤I hope he did, too. Maybe that is why I was there at that time. As a mother, I felt I needed to be there to pray and just maybe, he would hear them. I hope you are doing well after such a stressful job.

My son's best friend's mom died of a heart attack, at age 42 (the boys were 16 at the time). Less than a year later, his dad went out and sat on a 4 lane highway, at night. The first two car's missed him, the third one didn't. One never know's what is going on in the mind of another. RIP Connie, Feller, and Lamont Bentley.

Lamont, you can see where they had to refill in the concrete wall, right under the chain link fence. When his car hit that wall, it knocked out the corner piece of it. And they have filled it back in. You can tell by how the corner edge is lighter than the rest of the wall.

Thats moisture and can be seen at the top ofnthe entire wall and curb for that matter. The obvious gray section is painted over graffiti. This could have looked entirely different back then.
