I liked how he stayed strong talking about his past cast members from the show to cause losing all those people was very tough and it's like once you been with those people on the show for as long as they was they become more like a family then your own and that chemistry will always be there and especially if they maintain a good friendship over the years.
R.I.P. to Lamont Bentley... I met him in 1989 when my family moved to West 27th street in Los Angeles.. I think he was about 14 years old and I was 9. Lamont and his friends was so welcoming to my family coming in the neighborhood. We use to have so much fun on the block. When Lamont started acting we were so HAPPY for him. He would come to block with Merlin Santana R.I.P. and other actors. We would go crazy. So when he died my little cousin was so upset for a long time. I miss you.. We miss Lamont and never forget you. 😊
I didn't see the Parkers for the actual first time til last yr🤦🏾♀️ like I know I seen episodes I knew before but never watched the show like that... It was good...

I used to work with his Mom at the National Research Group in Los Angeles and she and I would sing a little together at work and co-workers would tell us we should be out there singing instead of working at that job. Loyce told me her son was on the Moesha show and at first I didn't believe her until Lamont visited her at the office one day. She invited me to attend church with her at West Angeles and I had a good time worshipping with her at church. Continue to rest easy brother Lamont and thank you for sharing your talents while you were here on earth. 🕊️🙏🏽

@@michaelwoods3850Did you watch the interview or were you listening he literally listed for people who have died from the show and your replies no it’s only two
I still watch Moesha as it’s very sentimental for me. I always loved watching Myles (Marcus) dance. Such a talented brother. That was such a good show and it was sad when Lamont died so tragically after Merlin. Continuous rest and peace to all the ones we lost 🙏🏾
Hold up look at the list Yvette Wilson Bernie Mac Merlin Santana Lamont Bentley 🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿 Honestly grateful they blessed us with their talents to give us memories through tv. One of the best 90s sitcoms
Lamont Bentley was definitely meant to Metro Boom on the big screen. His portrayal as Krazy K in ‘Tales from the Hood’ still gives me goose bumps 🤟🏾😤🤏🏾
I'm so glad to see this! None of the other actors from Moesha ever talk about those that have passed on. Every last one of them made a impact on that show as supporting actors and should be remembered.
The passing of these actors is difficult to accept. I, for one, grew up watching Moesha and fell in love with the entire cast. My memory of Bernie, Lamont, Andell and O'hage (sorry for the spelling) will always be fond ones.
Man, Merlin Santana and Lamont Bentley two of the first huge tv celebrity deaths of our childhoods that really hit us. If you grew up in the 90s and 2000s those losses cut deep and still do. Yvette Wilson, Bernie Mac, Ricky Harris etc too 😢
I did commercials as a kid out here in South Central. Lamont and I had the same agent. I never got any big roles or anything, we never got to move out of the hood from my acting career lol but Lamont was like a big bro to me no matter my success or not. He was in movies and TV shows every week and still looked out for me like I was as big a star as him. We lost contact once I turned like 13, I wish I could dap him up one more time. RIP soldier.
I'm watching Moesha everyday. Marcus as Miles was great in his role. He reminds me of my neighbor I grew up with when we were younger. Your timing was perfect Marcus and you were really, really funny. Lamont was very talented. He and Merlin Santana, who was an excellent comedic actor, will both be missed. Can't help but wonder from time to time, where would they be in their careers today.
I am glad that Comedy Hype interviewed Marcus Paulk. I felt that we fans need closure to understand how the cast felt being on the set of Moesha and felt about the passing of the fellow co-stars. That show was such a classic show. It was so different and it stood for the culture. It's hard to speak about a costar when they're no longer living and so this is special interview. I'm glad that they did this in 2023. I find it sad that it's 2023 and there's no full 6 seasons of Moesha on DVD. It was great to hear his perspective working on the set of Moesha and I'm happy that it was a positive workplace experience for him.
I always wondered what happened to Lamont because I watched Moesha growing up but when I found out his cause of death I was devastated because he was a young man still grinding to the top of the acting game and was a great actor so he was destined to blow….

Marcus T. Paulk aka Myles really reminds me of my oldest cousin’s middle son that was my little cousin at first when he was a little kid. But I’m still kinda hurt when Lamont Bentley died from auto mobile accident in 2005. 😢💔🕊️👼🏾
