Went to school with Keenan at Tuskegee Institute and we stayed in the same dorm. He was hardly the funny man that the world knows him now to be. He was an engineering major and a member of Alpha Phi Alpha fraternity (in other words, a smart guy). I remember when he told us that his was leaving school to go to Hollywood to pursue an acting career. We thought he was crazy to leave in his last year of school, but he obviously was not afraid to chase his dream and in doing so, brought his entire family with him to the top!!! It has been wild to watch the low-key, serious guy that I knew and interacted with in college, become the mega super-star, ground-breaking writer, actor and producer that he has become.

Epic COMMENT! Takes an honest and true soul to offer real insight of another (which "they" knew), and give such a nonresentful response to offer such praise and respect ; ESPECIALLY, IN THESE TIMES! Bravo to you! And really thanx for the share!
They were the best comedy group / satire, bar-none . Would love if they (WOULD) revived the gang. Even jim Carrey noted "if" they did reboot the show, that he would consider coming back to primetime.
      But AGAIN! Stellar comment.

I say this earnestly and mean no disrespect but why mention your race? There were at least two main characters on the show who were white, Jim Carey and Kelly Coffield. So what does your race have to do with watching and enjoying the show? All my friends watched this back in the day Black, White, Asian, Hispanic, etc. There was no race or cultural prerequisite to watch the show. It was simply an extremely funny show with a diverse cast that poked fun at anything and everything and we all agreed that it was extremely entertaining and funny.

In Living Color was hands down one of the FUNNIEST, most iconic television shows OF ALL TIME! Those that know; KNOW. Back then, I don’t care what color your skin was, this show was all anyone talked about in school on Monday morning. This show invented “make them laugh so hard they can’t breathe and their tummies hurt! MOOHOOHAHAHAHAHA!”
On top of the sheer brilliance and the scope of the writing and the talent involved, ILC launched so many careers. Where would laughter be without The Wayans Family? @@justman4891 I unfortunately had absolutely no choice at the time to go to bed because I was in jail while in living color was in its prime, and when dayroom was over, IT WAS OVER and back to the cell. 😂

I'm still streaming In Living Color. Awesome show, I was sad when the show was over. Outstanding cast, ❤ them all.

I love the Bruno Mars music video for his song Finesse. It's done as an homage to the show opening from In Living Color.

We need a new form of in living color to address alot of nonsense we see nowadays..a lot of things need to checked..we need shaming & honesty back..this new generation is weird and very sensitive..I miss the Wayans material..they called it like they saw it..

The fact that I still quote from: ILC, Dont Be a Menace, Scary Movie, Im Gonna Git You Sucka...testament to their impact on my entire life. Lets not forget Keenan also used to write for Eddie Murphy with Robert Townsend! "Hey Mon Got to go to Work"😂😂😂❤
