Guys! This was EXACTLY what I needed! The key seized like this on my 2005 Tahoe today and no other videos addressed how to get the key forward in order to remove the cylinder. All the other videos were talking about tearing down the steering column and horrible things like that. All this took was a flathead screwdriver and 20 minutes! Genius! Thank you!
Your a blessing, thank you! We could NOT figure out why it was SO BADLY locked up. This explained what failed, and we were able to get it turned, to get the truck started, so we could get off the side of the road and go home! Thanks.

you help me start my truck someone tryd to steal it destroyed my ignition like crazy i guess they werent that good because i still have it 😅
