This album turns 24 this year. Which is how long I've been a fan. They were one of the bands I turned to when I was being bullied in high school. I also listened to system of a down, mudvayne slipknot and kittie. Those 5 bands hold a special place in my heart, and will always love those bands for bringing me light in one of the darkest times in my life! As always, great reaction to a phenomenal song!
Sorry I am commenting as I watch it...😅 awwww... Disturbed made you cry. That's amazing! Keep feeling the music and don't ever be afraid to express what it does to you emotionally. This vulnerability will only aid and enrich your journey. 💜
This band had me at, "ooh waa aah aah aah". Great reaction, my guy. I love that you did this first. You're going to love this band, and here's the journey I would recommend - I would listen to a few more of Disturbed's early fan favorites before getting to Sound of Silence. All bangers, you'll be good. Check out Stupify, Stricken, and Inside the Fire. Then I would do Another Way to Die, Vengeful One, and Indestructible. Then Sound of Silence, A Reason to Fight (Official Live), Hold Onto Memories. That would cover early, middle, and recent. That's not all of their best, but probably the best sampling of their career (although it leaves off their most recent album which is pretty damn good)
Totally agree! Disturbed is so varied and versatile, not afraid to take chances and explore music as it should be explored by people who love music. They don't just sell out to make what the fans think they want and grab the money. They try new things and keep things interesting. Can you tell this old granny is a huge fan?

This song was in a scene in the movie Queen of the Damned & David sang the studio/soundtrack version of one of the songs Lestat sungs at his concert.
Sound of silence is a cover, but my jaw hit the floor. It's so moving full of meaning. Wow i love disturbed ❤
I just watched your rxn vid to The Sound of Silence where you said it's a little slow and that you don't listen to those types b/c you don't like to sit in your feels. Then I came here and Down With the Sickness gets you in your feels. Lol. Good videos. I enjoy them and your reactions
3:54...its because your a metal head at heart ...your soul is connecting to the music that you were always meant to listen to....keep the brilliant reactions coming
Nice one :) Now, it's time for sound of silence. It's good to have context when you hear something that amazing. Enjoy!
