This 75 year old Northern California Grandma didn’t really discover Disturbed until COVID lockdown in 2020. First saw their black and white video of Sound of Silence! Blew me away. I still love most heavy metal, but they’ve become my favorite metal band! Most of their official videos are like mini films! Brilliant! I have a ticket to see them in concert in May! Can’t wait! All members in the band are incredibly gifted musicians! They been together since 1995.

Disturbed was the headliner! I fell in love with David Draiman and Disturbed. At the time, I only had heard their cover of Sound of Silence! Let me just say it was amazing! I was totally moved when he said sometimes Darkness can show you the Light! He asked if anyone has dealt with depression and/or addiction or know someone affected. Please raise your hand! 🙋♀️ I would say 98% of us raised our hands including David and the rest of the band. I received concert tickets for Christmas to see them again! I can’t wait to see them again!
I absolutely love Disturbed., I dont care what others think. If you like DIsturbed, 3 Days Grace, Braking Benjamin, Godsmack, Avenged Senvenfold and Killswitch Engage then Bullet for My Valentine are a must. David Draiman has one of the best voices of all time in my opinion. The songs Prayer and Remember really show off his chops too and are worth a listen.
DAVID DRAIMAN (you got it right)does have an angelic voice. It's one with lots of training. He was trained as a Jewish cantor as a youngster, but was a rebel even then. He was kicked out of Jewish school for being too revellious and not willing to live the structured lifestyle the school required. He is a kind and caring soul who worked for a time as a manager for a nursing home facility. He has an angelic voice that serves him with the prowess to growl like the devil, and sing ballads or bangers with the ultimate in style and control. Diving into the Disturbed rabbit hole should offer you lots of listening joy. I highly recommend Ten Thousand Fists, and The Vengeful One, two of my personal fave bangers, as well as Stupify, one of their major all-time kick-ass single hits. Once you decide to start going to concerts, something I believe all of us would encourage you to do, you should definitely try to see Disturbed in concert. They always put on a rocking, all-in show. I will see them again as often as I can, because they deliver every time!! ❤️🤘🏼🎶
'The Light' may hit you in the feels a bit, a brilliant Disturbed song. A lot of their earlier stuff is brilliant, popular songs like 'Stupify', 'Prayer', 'Inside the Fire', '10K Fists' and 'Voices' Hidden gems (in my opinion!) are 'Deify', 'The Night' and 'Mistress'. One I love, but appreciate it won't be everyone's cup of tea, is 'Droppin Plates'.

A personal favorite but less know is Dropping Plates (plates are records) So many more but this is a Good list and you will love each one, promise. I'm nearing 60 now, and my views of things are changing. I see the guys in this band and I I think these days that I just hope that their parents were super proud of them. Can you imagine raising your kids and have them end up being in one of great bands of modern era? It seems that far too many phenomenal musicians were mistreated as children. And as such, they probably never had their parents there to be happy for them for their achievements. But I always hope that behind these great artists are parents who are giving them kisses on the cheek in recognition of their VERY hard work to get to this point.

Disturbed is one of my favorites. I've seen them live 7 times. From way back in 2000. I even took my 17yr old to see them a couple of years ago. Always an amazing performance. 10,000 Fists, Indestructible, Inside the Fire ... so many good ones.

I'm nearing 60 now, and my views of things are changing. I see the guys in this band and I I think these days that I just hope that their parents were super proud of them. Can you imagine raising your kids and have them end up being in one of great bands of modern era? It seems that far too many phenomenal musicians were mistreated as children. And as such, they probably never had their parents there to be happy for them for their achievements. But I always hope that behind these great artists are parents who are giving them kisses on the cheek in recognition of their VERY hard work to get to this point.

Disturbed is one of my favorites. I've seen them live 7 times. From way back in 2000. I even took my 17yr old to see them a couple of years ago. Always an amazing performance. 10,000 Fists, Indestructible, Inside the Fire ... so many good ones.
I love their whole catalog. Very few artists I can say that about.

Saw them 3 times, once st House of Blues felt so intimate and in a huge covert hall and omg Ten Thousand Fists In the Air all being shouted by 10,000 fans. Even had a meet and greet with them, such a really cool bunch of guys.
