Bow down and give proper respect to Steven Tyler, lead singer of Aerosmith and a true rock legend.
Next Aerosmith has to be Sweet Emotion.
YES!!
I think he would also like the version of "Walk This Way" with Run DMC.
@@bostonwhofan Why always with run dmc? The original without them is so much better!
All the originals are ... (I'm a teenager-in-the-70s person ...😃)
This song came out in 1973. It was like Aliens landed with music like we’d never heard before. It’s still beyond amazing!
Steven Tyler is one of a kind. He's still going in his 70's.
67 years old here fucking song after 50 fucking years still gives me chills my "young friend !!!!!!!! Do a very deep dive into Aerosmith!!!
Same!
The 70s are the pinncle of rock music. You can find enough great songs in that era to listen to until you're an old man. 😊
The best music is 70's music.
Yessssss!
Best music EVER. They just don't create music like that anymore. It was just a special time to get to live through
Like I've said before, we had the BEST music in the 70s!
Seeing Mollyboy react to good stuff when you know something is coming that is going to blow his mind is the best. Halfway through he is loving Steve's voice and i could not help grinning ear to ear waiting for the scream... priceless! Ya got me my boy, i'm subscribed.
Yes, I like MollyBoys reaction and like you say fewetoo, when you know whats comming it´s priceless
I was holding my breath in anticipation!!
Molly boy has a ton of emotion in his face. So cool to watch.
This is 70s Aerosmith. Then there's 80s Aerosmith, then there's 90s Aerosmith. I think they still released music well into the new millennium too. Fantastic band.
In the 80's Aerosmith did a song with a Hip Hop group named Run DMC. It was one of the first times a Rock Band and a rap group did a music video together. When you get a chance react to "Walk This Way" by RUN DMC. They were the first Hip Hop artists to get inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
Oh yeah that was great! And nother great one was the Public Enemies together with Anthrax in the song "Bring the noise" :D
Yes they did. And it was ahead of it's time. But it really did suck A$$. 😂😂
Pains me to say it, but the Run DMC version was better than the original
@QBTO Was not close to being better than the original. Did you grow up in the 70's? If not than that explains it.
Yes but why even bring that up when he hasn't even explored their classic 70's material.
Next Toys in the Attic.
Eventually react, after at least 4 or 5 classic 70's tracks.
It does my heart so much good to see you young people discovering what real music is.
This is still and will always be my favorite Aerosmith song. It is a perfect piece of music ♡
The lyrics are surprisingly mature for a young group in 1973. In 2024 this song still retains an impact upon listening.
Crazy part is he still sounds just as good!! It's unreal!!
This song "live" is unreal! Steven Tyler is a Rock-God and still sounds this good.
That was Steven Tyler, the father of actress Liv Tyler
Steven Tyler was 17 when he wrote that!
14!
Truly a Genius!❤
That is crazy!!!
Everyone feels the same way the first time they hear that😅
Early Aerosmith from their first four albums is the best.
"What the fuck was that" 😳
Exactly ❤
Welcome to one of the best bands of all time... and the Demon of Screamin'.
One of the all time greatest rock songs!🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Check "Sweet Emotion", "Walk This Way", "Lord of The Thighs", "Seasons Of Wirher", "No More No More" that are all great songs from Aerosmith.
you will definitely like the first two that @mikeb36240 mentioned. Steven Tyler is spitting bars in those two. 😄
All great songs, I love Mama Kin also
Check out the calibration for Walk this way with Run DMC and Arrowsmith. First rock rap calibration music video
Love in the elevator and Janie's got a gun, too
Aerosmith songs are in a lot of movies and tv shows too
Heck, I know I've heard part of this song in a car commercial. *LOL*
If you react to more Aerosmith, all of their 90's music videos were great. "Cryin'" "Janie's Got A Gun" "Crazy" "Livin On The Edge" "Walk This Way" "Pink" defined almost 2 decades of brilliant music videos
Welcome to the 1970’s young one!!!! AC/DC, Aerosmith, and sooooo much more!!!!! You have soooooooo many rabbit holes 🕳️ to go down!!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 This came out in 1973 when I was 12 and have been rocking out to them ever since!!!! Just like AC/DC!!!!! Keep going hombre you will become a head banger yet!!!!! Hell try Sweet Emotions next. You can’t go wrong!!!! So says Austin Tx!!!! 🎸🎸😎🍸
My boy never heard this before? You got your socks rocked!, no doubt!
I love Steven Tyler's tone in this song. Smooth and smokin. Just amazing talent.👍💯
Try 50 years ago, 1973. These are the bands that shaped the sound of latter-day rock bands that came after.
This is an all-time classic. Still played heavily on classic rock radio and streams.
Still incredible to know that this WASN'T a hit when it was first released
@@neillenet291 apparently the reissue in 1976 broke the top 10. All I know is that in the mid-70s seems like it was on the radio every time you turned it on. Particularly FM.
Listening to the music of my youth really makes me feel very nostalgic. Those were the days...60's-80's. 😁😎❤👍👌
Anything from Aerosmith get your wings album is definitely worth hearing. From beginning to end.
Right? I love when he comes to tears!!
I was 6 years old when that song was released.
June 27th, 1973 Aerosmith releases the single for the iconic power ballad 'Dream On'.
MollyBoy, I just love your reactions. You have a beautiful, sensitive and curious soul.
One of the greatest rock songs, ever
Released in 1973 - the 80's embraced it so much more.
There is so much for you to experience. It will be a wonderful journey for you and fun for me to watch you. This is the music of my youth.
From google..Yes, Aerosmith played in a barn behind a 14-unit building on Prospect Hill Road in Sunapee, New Hampshire, where the band got its start. The barn was a favorite hangout for the band members, Steven Tyler and Joe Perry, who met in Sunapee while spending their childhood summers there. In their early years, Aerosmith played at many places in New Hampshire, including high school proms, the JFK Coliseum in Manchester, Holman Stadium in Nashua, and the Capitol Theater in Concord....im adding.. they also were big in Boston and through out new england.
I'm 68 and this album came out the year I graduated High School.
Youre right, Eminem sampled this for 'Sing for the Moment'
Everyone gets chills the first time they here that iconic scream, the build up to that moment is perfection!
Steve Tyler is the lead singer, this song was released in 1973 and is still considered their signature song. He is the father of Liv Tyler who beat known for playing 'Arwen' in the Lord of the Rings.
This band has so many great tunes and I hope you get to hear them sooner rather than later.
...also Liv played the daughter of Bruce Willis in Armageddon...if you haven't, you should react the theme to that movie, by her father Steven Tyler, the lead singer of Aerosmith...I Don't Want to Miss a Thing...
@@42Mrgreenmanthat’s quite possibly the worst Aerosmith song ever though
This song is so gorgeous it almost hurts listen to it😢😢😢😢😢
This defines my high school years. The best of times and I didn't even know it!!
Aerosmith - I Don't Want to Miss a Thing (Official HD Video). I prefer their earlier work, but this should attract a lot of viewers.
LOL, I agree...but it's weird and personal, I guess...the movie, the music video, his daughter playing the lead female role, and that I watched Armageddon when it came out as a teenager...almost gives me a better feeling via nostalgia than some of the amazing work they did twenty-some years earlier, before my time...though musically, I too prefer their earlier stuff...
When I think of Aerosmith, I always think of this epic song!
Fun fact, the lead singer (Steven Tyler) is the dad of Liv Tyler, who played Arwen in Lord of the Rings.
One of my favorite bands! I have seen them 4 times in concert. They have a huge catalog. They have had hits in 70s, 80s, 90s and early 2000. I love their early work Sweet Emotion, Back In The Saddle and Train Kept A Rollin, but also their later hits Jaded, Janie's Got A Gun and Crazy.
1973. I was in high school. This album, then Get Your Wings, Toys In The Attic and Rocks. Their first 4 albums. That began the legend.
Another band that you should definitely check out if you like unique sounding voices is The Doors. I cannot recommend them enough!
Janie's got a gun, rag doll, they have so many hits, I can't name them all
Aerosmith was founded in 1969. Dream On and Mama Kin had already been written. Great reaction!
I'm from Hull Massachusetts, and I saw them for the first time in 1972 at the Surf Ballroom for $5.00, and I knew then that they would be great given the opportunity. I bought this album in 1973. Their first three albums (to me) were their best. Get Your Wings and Toys in the Attic, kick ass too. But they had other great albums as well. I'll be 70 this year, and I'm still rocking out to Aerosmith.
THAT , precious young man, is the flippin genius of Steven Tyler (vocals) and Joe Perry on guitar 🎸🎶❣️
Down the rabbit hole
steve tyler... what a voice
My favorite Aerosmith song from high school played at all of the 70’s dances. My husband and my wedding song dance was , “I don’t wanna miss a thing” ❤
This song is an anthem for many.
My favorite even from when I was a kid. ❤❤❤❤ that was Steven Tyler. "It's not the cough that carries you off. It's the coffin they carry you off in." Fav ST quote.
I remember that quote! 🎉🎉
That's called a 'Stank Face', young dude. Love it!
And they are still rocking ❤
New England (USA East Coast) boys who made us teenagers back in the early 80's feel the love of Rock n Roll music, blasting from our boombox, playing them over and over on our record players, or our car cassette players, LOL!!😅 Those were the good ole days. They were great in concert also😎🤟✌️
"Where have i heard this song...?"
Most likely EVERYWHERE.😂
Sweet emotion!
The Who at Shepperton "Won't Get Fooled Again" will rock your socks off! Nobody has a scream like Roger Daltry!
You've heard nothing yet, wait until he really starts belting it out! I wasn't disappointed in your reaction! You even replayed the part I thought you would! Awesome stuff, FABOULOUS reaction!
Thank you for the heart, appreciate it!
On the East Coast, they were known as the bad boys of Boston
Aerosmith is originally a Boston area band. They supposedly played a dance at the high school I went to back before they were a big name band (and unfortunately, before I went to the school.) That would be an amazing high school memory. The lead singer, Steven Tyler is the father of Liv Tyler (the actress who played Arwen in the Lord of the Rings movies.)
Steven Tyler is probably the greatest vocalists in ROCK music. Aerosmith was so kick a** and they still are. I was 15 when this song came out. Out partying and driving, Speakers all the way up and parked outside of town with everyone up and down the back road with all everyone’s trunks open for our sub woofers jammin’! I wouldn’t change any part of that with today’s music and people.
They began in the 1970's and are still going.
Having been a teen in the 70's, I forget younger generations are unfamiliar with how "experimental" the Music was in the 70's. Basically, musicians could try anything and we were willing to listen.
In the course of a week I would hear Lawrence Welk, Mitch Miller, Sonny&Cher (pop), Hee Haw (country) and Hymn Sing (gospel) in addition to the Top 40 AND my personal music. I was not unique. This was normal for my generation, the Boomers.
Talking bout my generation---❤
Sweet Emotion, please!!!
1973 I was 12 when this song came out. lol. It's a classic. I still have the album.
My Boston Boys! Aerosmith!
Dream on came out in 1975. It was our prom theme year I graduated.
Walk This Way (original soundtrack from the album Toys In The Attic)…and other fan favs: Last Child, Sweet Emotion, Train Kept A Rollin, Lord Of The Thighs, Nobody’s Fault…among many. ORIGINAL STUDIO ALBUM VERSIONS ONLY (Not Live versions or remixes). Dream On (1st album) released in 1973 but didn’t start getting airplay until 1974 or 75. By then they had their fourth album out and suddenly everywhere on the radio was Dream On, Walk This Way and sweet emotion. And besides Zeppelin, which is at the top of most rock ‘n rollers bands list. It was an Aerosmith Summer. PS: Aerosmith had ‘two lives’; before the late 80s and then after their come back of the 90s. (they broke up and reunited and did a famous collaboration with run dmc ). All the hits above are from their early era.
Him and Steve Perry can actually do the same vocals live, that they do in the studio
Aerosmith’s Train Keep on Rolling. You’ll get there more popular like Sweet Emotion or Walk this Way but my favorite and I think you’ll like most is Train Keep on Rolling
still get chills when I hear this one. And they are from Boston.
QUEEN!
the Guess Who American Woman
Omg yes!
Was at his last concert in long island, he damaged his vocals he sang so loud..fuckin killed every song, but might’ve been his last concert..one of the GOATs
Ok. Aerosmith has been what we call a local band in the Boston area , although he lives in NH. This was my 1st concert (other than Jay Geils) at Merrimac College. But we had so many good memories from these concerts
Johnny Depp constructed the character of Captain Jack Sparrow on the singer Steve Tyler.
Look at earlier images of Steve wearing a bandanna and you’ll see the resemblance.
I saw them at the Texxas Jam at the Cotton Bowl. It was 120degrees F on the stadium floor. I was 13yo. 1978. They were at their lowest point on the Bootleg album tour but what an incredible experience. It was Van Halen’s First tour and they played as well.
Aerosmith .. I was a Jr in high school when I first got into their music. Old Aerosmith, the classics. Good music to cruise to with the windows down. As usual, I love your reaction! Keep reacting to the old stuff, it hits right in your soul.
“Sweet emotion”
Steven Tyler (the lead singer) was only 17 when he wrote this song.
That’s crazy!
So nice to see young reactors listening to real😮 music, keep scrolling there is much more of real music back in the day 😊
Old Aerosmith, TRAIN KEPT A ROLLIN i think you'll love it ,enjoy!!!!
Hi Aerosmith are in the top 10 bands from the 70's. Here are 3 other bands that fit that category
Lynyrd skynyrd
The eagles
Queen
Their are many more great bands from then but nobody beats pink floyd and led zeppelin they were the best both equal in style and quality of composition.
Guys are still out doing it. Still sound as good
Righteous. 👊...my young friend,... you MUST MUST hear SWEET EMOTION from Aerosmith.
MUST. TRUST YOUR ELDER 💪😎. Steven Tyler is the singer's name. This song came out in the 70s.....77/78....😁
I got to see Aerosmith in concert back in the late 80's. Steven Tyler is a one of a kind vocalist and a true showman. The Aerosmith story is probably one I got to see Aerosmith in concert back in the late 80's. Steven Tyler is a one of a kind vocalist and a true showman. The Aerosmith story is probably one of the wildest rides in Rock N Roll history.of the wildest rides in Rock N Roll history.
Hi early 70's it seems to be 1973 was the magic year for rock.
Credence Clearwater Revival (CCR) Older than a lot of what I've found "Born on the Bayou" most I like. Dr. Hook and the Medicine Show (also old, drug culture) "On the Cover of Rolling Stone" so many others, some of their work was written by Shel Silverstein a poet "Where the Sidewalk Ends" and I believe he was a photographer for Playboy (adult magazine).I really like watching younger reactors from outside the USA and seeing the music live on.
He re did the song as an anthem for the Boston Marathon Bombings
Steven Tyler (frontman for Aerosmith, the one singing this), Slash, and David Grohl performed this one at Howard Stern's birthday in 2014. He's still got it, and it's amazing to watch them perform live.. You will love it.
that my friend was Stephen Tyler, he has some range
LOTS of music from the last couple of decades has sampled music from the modern golden age of music which lasted from the late 1950s thru the 1990s.
An incredibly innovative time when all music didn't sound the same. Lots of experimentation and it was beyond amazing.
Back in the saddle and Train kept a rollin are some good ones to give a listen to
Please go down the rabbit hole with this group. Their Lives are sooooo worth reacting to. Their videos are entertaining as well.
My favorite band. Every song is amazing. Try Crazy.
Th e thing i find so amazing about this song is he wrote this song about aging and not letting your dreams pass you by when he was a teenager. I believe he wrote this when he was 17 yrs old before the band released their first album. Masterpiece. I loved this song when i was a teen in the 80's but i find it really speaks to me now that im in my late 50's and have had so many life experiences. It means more now than when i first heard it.
Look at the live video for the full experience!
