@@angelamorrow8973 Paradise city and Hells Bells intros are just insanely good, the intro to Sweet Child O' Mine still sends shivers down my spine and Thunderstruck is at least good. Not so sure about Welcome To the Jungle but as tastes differ there isn't really any right or wrong here... Except Jump... Jump doesn't fucking belong in this category at all.
VH did a lot of good songs, not so great intros and Jump doesn't even place in the bad intros, it's just... meh...
Now meh is far worse than "I hate it" because at least there was something there but there really isn't in Jump, it's just ... meh.
However.... Going by your taste, Crazy Train? Should be right up your ally....I found the Mr Crowley intro to be far too long to be good but I think that has to do with your state of mind. It differs even day to day.
Being a bit drunk and going home I can love that intro too, but not at the start of the night, the start of the night is ALWAYS Paradise City...

The '90s were a good decade for music, imo. Most of the 1980s pissed me off, with all the commercialism and Thatcherism. Ska and Punk and the developing of Indie was good, but by and large chart music after about 1982 was just annoying, and metal and heavy rock wasn't getting on the radio or TV due to a kind of centrist stranglehold at the BBC and the limited number of channels. The breakthrough was about 1989 with the Seattle and Manchester sounds, and after that distorted guitars could get on radio and TV and really flowered in the market. Guitar bands getting into the charts instead of endless manufacturd boy and girl bands and performers distinguished by their ability to dance rather than play an instrument. So I loved a lot of what came out in the 1990s, including vastly impressive acts like Radiohead and Jeff Buckley. And then around 2001, the New Wave revival hit, which was awesome as a fan of the original New Wave of 1979-'81. Still adore Bloc Party, Keiser Chiefs, Futureheads, all that stuff.

Lost to time there have been so many before him there time had come and they be gone. The song can always be written but only once can it be sung. Like all life it has its own moments of beauty until time calls it away forever that moment of making a presence once played.

I'm 68 and have been a fan from the beginning. Aerosmith is by far my favorite American Band. Steven is one of the best singers ever. I have seen them twice. The first time was in 1975. They always put on a great show.

Rebecca, I adore watching your videos. Your passion for singing shines through in every video. If you haven't already done it, I think you would really enjoy the cover of Creep done by Carrie Manolakos at Le Poisson Rouge in Greenwich Village. I'm not a fan of covers in general, but I think this one is on the same level as Eva Cassidy's cover of Over the Rainbow.

Steven and the boys live is an entire education. My very first concert was Aerosmith when I was 16 years old, & aside from the fact that Steven was my first kiss because he was kissing all the girls in the front rows, just hearing them live at all with all the charisma you talked about (which he has loads), really does hit you square, I haven't recovered yet. And I'm in my 40s now.

Dear Rebecca, never apologize for showing your excitement. I can see that you are a very passionate woman regarding singing and music. I love your enthusiasm. I am of a similar nature. I hear a great voice and shivers go down my spine. When I was younger I could sing most stuff from the Beatles to AC'DC I am 62 now and the voice hasn't had any practice for about 10 years. But seeing you and hearing these fantastic rock bands, I am getting the 'itch' again. Thanks for that. Love you Rowland
