i dont think its his first time, gripalwahi is his coach and he benches, but either way I think khaled have done different forms of benching before, like dumbells. still he is a genetic freak and insanely strong
I like that he’s finally showing a proper warm up before bench. You have no idea how many people think it’s just shoulders they need to warm up, when in reality the back is the most important before a bench session. I usually do 4 to 5 sets of 12 to 15 reps of light back to get warmed up, about 1 minute to 2 of rest in between.
So a lot of people without a lot of benching experience won’t catch this but I’ve been benching for 26 years and a first time benched doesn’t line his fingers up religiously side to side to ensure hand placement is the same on the bar. Khalid is doing this from the first time he lays down on the bench. I’ve helped lots of people who have never benched or have very little experience and not a single one has ever lined up their fingers against the rings.
he does take that grip religiously in armwrestling too without knowing what he does.... i have learned many armwrestlers and nobody did that except one, and that one was an extrem genetic freak like Khaled, uncle was olympic wrestler. You forgot how you were when you were new but I often taught people how to bench press powerlifting style over the years and can very well tell new lifters from experienced ones. Larry is just being respectful as always about it but he knew too 100%
@@Brain320 dude doesn’t train chest. He’s an arm wrestler. Wouldn’t be surprised if he doesn’t hit bench. SMH

Love that khaled is so chill now, he was tense af the first few videos.
Larry is such a great teacher.
Definitely, he pinpoints where to inject with great precision 😂
People literally believe he's never bench pressed before, too. 🙄
It's hard to believe this is his first time benching with this physique..
Khaleds right arm looks way bigger than his left, he's been training it.
Khaled is a different kinda animal, he is blessed w natural strength, size and bone density. There are no limits he cannot achieve. A force to be reckoned with.
Larry is larger than life itself ! Top man 💪
😂😂😂
Not literally
The new intro is awesome!
Also Larry: yes he’s my opponent, so let’s have him train with me surely he won’t get injured. 😂😂😂
Khalid brings a very honest and friendly vibe! Loved seeing him in the video.
Honest about him benching the first time. The first trait of honesty is not to lie 😂
Khalid is actually such a nice guy
Yeah until he kicks you in the face when you’re floored like his last MMA fight
@@isyt1 I won't be getting in an octagon with him for that to happen. Many MMA guys are nice people anyways, fighting is just a business for them.

@@adnanwalid5399 Absolutely. It’s a sport for them.
I’d bet 99.9999% of them would be disgusted with what Khaled did though. There’s no need for that
I think the most impressive part of this video was Larry quick transition from a fist bump to hand shake without breaking his laugh. 16:25
He never benched before, he never arm wrestled before... and he's always great at it. lol
Took me a few years to bench 225 -- my chest really sucks -- but I could deadlift 295 on the first day in the gym.
Not true at all. There's older videos of him arm wrestling at events years prior to him appearing on Larry's channel. Same with benching as well. There's videos of him benching with his mates on GripAlawadhi channel.
and he never ate pancakes 🤣
@@Zenzuu Yup, I was being sarcastic. He always says something to the effect that he never did something and then is great at it. lol
he' s been working that right arm...
16:24 Can we just mentioned how quickly Larry saved that handshake fail?
There were like 4-6 awkward handshakes i was having seizures
1:56 a big handshake fail😝
The video that we wall waited for and Badr failed to do
Khalid looking jacked 💪🏾
The thing I like most about Larry he is very generous about praising everyone even his opponent,, he is such a nice chap very down to earth full of sportsman spirit..... ...
Khaled looking like an entirely different person. I remember when everyone used to hate on him for being too aggressive and rude.
How times change.
He's like that when he's competing against someone in a match.
Maybe he's changed but he did almost kill his first opponent in his MMA match recently
Apparently he was always a really nice and friendly guy (according to all the people around him at the time), it just wasn't really translating on camera. The situations were often a bit tense and competitive and whatnot. I think he's likely become more sociable and comfortable with cameras and stuff, though. But yea people seem to be going way overboard with their assessment of the guy based on some videos.
It's great to see Khaled speak more.
I am sure he's never done the bench press just looking at his form and technique but that doesn't mean to say he hasn't done press ups or other chest movements. That's probably why we don't see his hands shaking/ wobbling and he is naturally a monster but that being said doing 150kg on the bench first time regardless if you done other chest movements is insane there is a huge part of the population probably 80% who will train a life time and won't ever reach that. unreal. Larry would be good if you asked if he has done other chest exercises so people stop hating
New intro made my smeckler go like this.
Buddy fucking rights. You are inspiring.
Khaled is so strong. 6 years of bodybuilding. And he matched my bench press PR. On his first day. Wtf
well, it's like only 20% heavier than his bodyweight. Plus great genetics. Kinda slam dunk. I've seen people bench press 2 plates on their first day, and their bodyweight was around 80kg.
Well he sure did some pushing movements, if not before then for his mma training
I started with push ups, after few months I joined the gym and bench pressed 100kg @80kg bw
Actually it is funny, now after few months in the gym I didn't actually get that much stronger at bench, few reps only. Don't know but it feels like I had more progress in my strength while doing push ups.
Thank you guys for the feedback, i appreciate it very much.

Love the PR ad...got goosebumps when i saw it. Thank you Larry for making quality equipment affordable!! Just started lifting again after recovering from separating 10 ribs on my left side, because of your lever belt i was able to lift heavy with any discomfort! 💪💯

Yea khaled looks very "stable" kicking downed opponents in the head.... No f**k him
@@robinrobin135 Okay so? It was his first match and he didnt know. He just got carried away with the kick in the heat of the moment but he apologized for it and it wasnt intentional. If you hate him for that, then go watch someone else lol but we love Khaled over here. People make mistakes, and he owned up to it. How you feel abut him is IRRELEVANT, cause you cant stop the greatness this man has coming in the near future!
Ah ! We missed Khaled. That man is very humble and respectful 👍
Was just wondering today where he’s been always enjoy videos with him. Still mind boggling how strong someone can be at a particular thing without having ever done it let alone trained it.
I do not believe for a second that khaled has never done a bench press in he’s life looooooooool
That's why I always say genetics is key I'm still trying to hit 315
Lawd have mercy. Khaled is SUPER strong. 332# on your first session is monstrous! It takes some guys years to hit 315, and some never do. That's crazy.
Khalid with ultra mega big muscles every time "first time" kinda sus
Elite genetics
Nah anyone who bench presses for the first time, his bar never is steady in his arms and the bar shakes...
Khaled probably has done that movement hence the muscle memory is there.
@@damnman5113 if u really believe this is his first time i dont know what to say really
He is a BS artist.
He may have benched before but maybe it's been so long he doesn't count it as being consistent lifting. But his form says it all he's unfamiliar with the movement yet he's pressing inpressive weight. Can't hate on that my guy.

Honestly speaking I don't think that's his first time. There's no way you can have such balance on the bench for the first time even if you are stronger
didn't think about this.
Has probably dumbbell benched before, im sure hes pressed things of some variety. His technique here was bad enough I believe it's his first actual bench press
A genetic freak but also a pathological liar.
Nobody is that strong and looks like that without have ever lifted weights it’s bs but at the same time doesn’t makes sense why he would lie.

most humble i've seen khalid, quite pleasent
khaled seems more open these days. talkative and stuff. i like it.
and i was told i had a good starting point when i benched about HALF of this on my first day in the gym (80 kg)...
Thats giga good. Most people staaart 40-60 kgs (90-130 lbs)
Man got to love how unaware and humble Khalid is when it comes to his strength i mean people around him are tho ones noticing and evaluating him while him being completely clueless and thankful to God about it for such a unique gift .
He might not ever train in gym but definitely lifted before can tell how he lifts. Making out he’s been locked in an attic all his life
Raised in Cameroon bro. Am african and u have no idea how hard it is to train or eat enough to build muscle, but we are just genetically gifted, i guess it's nature's compensation for the lack of food and gyms lol

6 months 1 year? It took me 3 years to get above 315
First time benching?
More like first time benching at that gym lol
Khalid be looking like he high all the time 🤣😂
i dont think its his first time, gripalwahi is his coach and he benches, but either way I think khaled have done different forms of benching before, like dumbells. still he is a genetic freak and insanely strong
Maybe not his real first time, but he legit had no idea how to properly bench
Yep, he's lying. Done it before, so he can do it again.
Lining up your fingers isn't rocket science
he does take that grip religiously in armwrestling too without knowing what he does.... i have learned many armwrestlers and nobody did that except one, and that one was an extrem genetic freak like Khaled, uncle was olympic wrestler. So believe me these guys with an extreme natural feeling for the body and movements they exists. same as 4year old girl who play piano better than other who practice it since 30 years
@@inyourgrillbrunson9575 Like I said, the way he is doing it is the same each time he lays down which is called his set up. He is pretending this is his first time but first time benchers and even plenty of people who have been at it awhile have zero set up.
@@pryme2013 if you watch the video, larry literally told him where to lineup his fringers lol
