    Would be nice if they would put the all-time-record besides the current attempted weight in the video, so its much easier to compare were they are in comparison to the all-time-record.

    The difference between Captains of Crush and the dynamometer is that the CoC build crushing strength through a larger range of motion.

    • @hemmydall
      @hemmydall 2 года назад

      CoC doesn't translate to arm wrestling well because of the hand position, while the dynamometer does.

    I really hope to see Devon pull Vitaly one day too.

    • @hemmydall
      @hemmydall 2 года назад +3

      Well he probably won't be able to roll Vitaly, and chances are he won't be able to slip either. Those 2 things are why he easily lost to Levan. Even if he fixes his endurance issue its gonna be tough.

    • @MuscleBandit
      @MuscleBandit 2 года назад

      @@hemmydall Hopefully Dave's super side pressure will be enough for him to create a lane. Vitaly is looking stronger than I remember him looking against Levan though so that's even gonna be an issue for Dave too. Fingers crossed for the west!

    The best way to get massive grip strength is to work in a factory welding commercial truck beds together every day. Having to lift & hold 200+lbs pieces of steel with one hand all day. Having to grip onto a piece of smooth steel that is only 1.5mm thick but weights over 200lb makes you exert far more pressure than the object weights just to move it. I used to be able to easily close a heavy grip 350 & half the guys in my department could as well. There a ton of people who work manual labor jobs that could make these strong lifters look weak in grip strength and other practical strength tests.

    I personally don't believe that Vitaly only relies on isometric training with the dynamometer. But it definitely is an effective way to train especially if utilized with proper programming.
