Watching the livestream you could see the bench judge that gave commands had just swapped, the one before was much faster when bar hit the chest

The only reson to do pause on the bench is remove the bouncing on the chest 0.5 sec is completely fine 1 sec is the standart, there is 0 sence to hold the pause that long... wtf you only lose tightness and can get yourself injured for nothing basicly.

He had the 2nd best total deadlift, 5 kg after Belkin.

True, however traps are fast to get or at least was in my case, got em without even going for them. And as far as using PED's they tend to locate themselves in trap region and shoulders.
You will see after roiding cycle very high increase in these regions, there was research on published in some magazines but im too tired to search it, google should help if you want to check it.
Also im not criticizing Larry or saying Larry does use PED's.
Anyway I had 3/4 of his traps in size but couldnt even get chest like that no matter what I tried.

They're not. The bar has to be 100% motionless before a press command can be given. So if the bar touches the chest, but wobbles from side to side for a few seconds, the referee will wait for the bar to stop wobbling before giving the press command. Re watch the bench press and you'll see this.
