Lee’s Ollie aromatizing androgenic compounds, like test, dbol, cause bloat which makes your face appear chubbier, however it’s not real chubbiness because it is mostly water weight as opposed to fat. Estrogen makes you hold water. The progestins, like anadrol, do too mildly. He isn’t 20% bf. In addition, notice how the arms look like balloons. Better to be fluid overloaded than dried out for strength purposes in any case, but it’s horrible for health when sustained long term. Pretty standard stuff

I'm actually surprised how close he was to breaking the record with his shitty meet prep...always getting hurt, doing stupid things, etc.... He's easily got 850 squat and 650 bench...then he only needs like 875 deadlift...even though he probably has the 900+ if he has a better meet prep. Not to mention he can also still gain like 10lbs and still be in the 308 class...he was what 297 here and he was wearing pants and a hoodie. But yeah, it's in the bag, just a matter of time.

With how hard larry pushed on the squat the 3rd time around, he could probably do 900 with some more training. Deadlift, he may have to so some grip training bit he has the power or really close to it. And bench, 650 all day. Hes on the road to 700 like everybody else lol. So 2450 could be a realistic future for him perhaps even 2500 one day bit that's in the future.

I was in the Marine Corps for 13 years, caught a bad injury and got pushed out. Long story short, I gained weight and got out of shape. I am a tumble and gymnastics coach on the side while being an engineer for my main job. I got back into the gym about a month ago, made it past that rough soreness patch, and I am seeing the strength returning. You are a mentor to so many people that you may never meet, however, that is my goal currently, just to shake your hand and say thank you. Keep pushing, never look back! Oohrah brother!

You could see how much that 3rd attempt deadlift meant to you, but it moved like a breeze! Just work on that grip strength and you'll smash any WR

Sometimes in competition it's hard to perform, the amount of pressure to do well and stress does have a huge effect on how the body will do. That's why it's easier to break records at home but in competition for alot of athletes its much difficult. Very hard to overcome that but when you do it makes a world difference. Good job Larry that shit ain't easy.

Is it just me or has his deadlifts regressed since training with Thor. I know he’s nursing an injury to some extent. But his raw explosiveness didn’t translate with the added size. I could be totally wrong.

    • @inteli3i5i7

Well, he did have and injury. However, with a lot of weight added quickly, it can, in many cases, throw a person's leverages off to the point where the deadlift may stagnante or go down.

“... I know,” the “Coach” goes, with a dumb smirk on his face ... like,, “No, dude, you don’t know !” That coach was of NO aid in mental preparedness here.
