@RF Johns He’s on TRT, which he kinda has to be because his body doesn’t naturally produce testosterone on its own anymore. That sucks to be on hormone therapy at 26, but at least he’ll be able to keep most of the mass he has right now.
Lmfao that’s the happiest I’ve seen him ever get. He loves lifting heavy so much, I feel bad he’s off cycle and focusing on health and longevity because I know it’s torture on him mentally but at least physically it’s only helping him.
It’s inspiring to see Larry off gear. I mean that he’s not fully defining his character by the freak strength that gear brings. Because I see Larry as much more than a strength PR champion. He brings together so many different interesting people from all over the world who share his passions. It’s great to see! On another note, for some odd reason, as Larry was doing pull downs I was reminded of how long it’s been since we’ve seen BTC. And then it hit me that he’s no longer with us. I miss BTC! Solid. Someone strong enough to hang with or even match Larry in certain lifts but knowledgeable and wise enough to heed the warning signs being given by his body to not risk potential injury. I'm not saying others who got injured were just dumb ego lifters or anything like that, but it's very possible they inadvertently exceeded the limits of their own capabilities because lifting with Larry seems to bring out the best effort in everyone. The adrenaline rush, thrill of the moment and allure of that just out of reach PR seems too good pass up. Another who is very wise and, if I'm not mistaken, also didn't suffer detrimental injuries is Andrew Jacked. Seeking to surpass one's limits is fine.
