The more i analyze Khaled and the more i look into him, i realize that its very hard to believe that he doesnt lift weights or had previous training. His chest is huge, his traps are huge, shoulders huge, back huge, and your'e telling me this is natural where he is from? if thats the case then all those camaroon guys would be world class. Also a lot of people are coming up with the idea that he is a bad sport because of the way he carries himself in front of the camera and his constant smirking. You dont see him laughing and smiling all that much. Yes the matches are serious, and everyone takes it serious, but they all have a good time, and Khaled portrays the image that he is not. With all this being said, I'm still a huge fan of Khaled and cant wait to see how far he goes. And before anyone over-analyzes what i said, i dont mean for it to be taken negatively, its just my opinion mainly.

I have to respectfully disagree somewhat, Khaled is very competitive and that’s just natural nature in the sport of arm wrestling but that doesn’t mean he shouldn’t check his attitude and be a bit more humble after winning/losing. He 100% came off weird in past videos on Larry’s channel and there’s a reason so many people have reacted to it. Even a snob like Michael Todd or a crazy competitive fuck like Matt Mask know how to show immense respect and keep their cool when need be. Respect and being humble is most essential in combat sports.

I think there’s a little extra context that adds to khaled being a bad sportsman, it’s definitely not just this match, you can tell any time he’s been beat in the past, even when Devon was in Dubai and pulled him, he gets unreasonably pissed when he loses, it’s fine to go into a match thinking you can beat everyone, that’s a good way to hype yourself up, but don’t take losing so badly. Maybe he’s not so much a bad sportsman but he is a very very sore loser for sure.
Also he seems to be a sore winner too, his match with schoolboy was supposed to be a super match but khaled backed out after winning this first round, which seems kinda iffy if you ask me. Anyways certainly he is incredibly strong but I think he needs to just control his temper, it’s fine to be a beast on the table however you should also try to be a likeable person off the table
For anyone who wants some evidence of this go to Larry wheels video titles “The strongest man you’ve never heard of” and at about 10 minutes in Larry defeats Khaled and he takes it really badly he accuses Devon of calling the match too soon and is clearly just super agitated about it

However just like in mma etc it provides drama for the sport. Typical ego - oh I never train, never lift weights, but look how naturally amazing I am. Cameroon average height men - 5’7 btw. You do not have to like this guy, thats fine, but he still gonna armwrestle and get adiditional will power by his ego. If you get beat by his ego then I would ask myself if you are really matched to beat such a guy in the first place. And if that is his character outside of armwrestle, so what ? That doesn't disqualify him to do armwrestle matches.

    The story of Khaled
    Awa´s training partner:
´´So Larry Wheels stopped by to do grip and to show the world how strong Khaled is. Khaleds best was 4 strict reps on the Millennium dumbbell (104.5 KG). Today he got 5 reps. Laine Snook has the most reps at 8. But it is not strict reps. Carl Mayerscough got a strict rep. Mark Felix only lifted this dumbbell to maybe 2 inches. Khaled strength is Iron Grip. Larry's channel will soon have the full video. My reply to all those on Larry Wheels channel about Khaled is a liar about his training and that I know he is lieing but helping him in his lie. That is not true. I will give you the exact story of Khaled; going root deep. For the guys accusing me and Khaled to lie. Okay let go deep in his background. He is from Cameroon. When I say he never trained, it isn't he has been sleeping all of his life on a bed with him being spoon fed. No he worked hard all of his life as a mechanic and farming a bit. He has huge strong hands. He says his father is same and his younger brother is taller with even bigger and stronger hands. He came to Dubai around two years ago to work. He worked as a mechanic at a garage. One of my Armwrestling friends had a car issue and stumbled upon his garage, which was near where he (Khaled) lives. He saw his muscular build and he strong he was in moving heavy objects. The armwrestler asked to armwrestler him. Khaled easily beat him. He was so excited and asked Khaled on his day off (Friday) to go with him to the Armwrestling gym. This was in Feb 2019. 2019 not 2020. People there did not believe that armwrestler because they though yes there are many strong people out there but it is extremely hard to translate that power into the table. He went that day and beat everyone except one. The next week they also invited them and that time he beat everyone; including the first person who could beat him. They invited him again in May 2019 when the Indian national champion S.K. was there and he also did beat him. All of this without training. The people there knew he (Khaled) was and is a threat to them as they wanted titles so they didn't invite him again. A year passed by, in March 2020 another armwrestler heard stories about him and tried to find him as those guys did not give information about his whereabouts. He kept on searching and asking until an honest man told him that he knows where he works and gave him the garage number. He found Khaled. He then Armwrestled with him and saw Khaled has a big potential. That was it. Until Devon Larrat came in August that person invited Khaled to meet Devon. Devon was very amazed by his strength that he couldn't top roll him (I am sure he didn't go full force though). Larry Wheels too. I then was asked to check him out. I took him to my place (grip dungeon/temple) and the rest is history. We have been training around 2 month now. Once a week only. He works 14 hours a day and doesn't rest much, doesn't eat much until I met him. He will soon (God willing) be sponsored and have a better life and training facilities.´´

Hey Devon, here is a news flash, ALL CHEATERS and people that like to "Bend" the rules are just trying to win. Thats why they do it. The worst part is that people like Devon and Khaled don't need to pull this nonsense to win. So why do it? This type of garbage is getting in the way of the sport growing imo. I dont know about that Khaled was about to pin him since the first match when he not injured.
Lets be honest if anything this might be pointing more in Larry's favor since Larry had beat Khaled before it just gets you thinking what if Larry could beat Schoolboy with the right hand Larry didnt lose vs Schoolboy with the right yeah he was tired but that's the same hand that beat Khaled Larry Wheels has consistently beat Khaled with the right hand and Khaled s right hand beat Schoolboy everytime in reality its just just Schoolboy slipped but with immense struggle other wise he would have been pinned all those times by Khaled.
either Khaled got stronger or knows how to move better now or Larry might be capable of beating Schoolboy with the right hand even with the lack of knowledge why because Larry always i mean always beats Khaled with the right hand.

Oh yet another youtube commenter who apparently is more knowledgeable then an actual professional.
Awa isn't a bad sportman, it is you making up bs to justify a predetermined hatred of someone you don't know, never met, have only cherry picked things you have used to form a fantasy narrative, despite both Larry and Devon saying the guy is not at all a bad sportman. But somehow you see a facial expression and just assume you know what he is thinking in 10 seconds of clip.
He is serious about this, he just got told by one of the best in the sport, and easily one of the most knowledgeable guys in the world on the sport of arm wrestling, that he could go all the way. So he is trying to take that and test the validity of that statement, and test himself, and he is not doing a fraction of a fraction of the bs I see guys like Travis, or other guys do. And in the other videos that have much less views, like this one..
      ruclips.net/video/l5WTh1Xlp2c/видео.html&ab_channel=LarryWheels
You can see more of who Awa is in that video of Larry's, and he is clearly not acting like an asshole. I honestly am starting to believe now the opposite is true. If you are someone who calls Awa an asshole based on basically nothing, after even both Larry and Devon have vouched for him, then my guess is you are probably not the kind of guy that most people would call kind, or fair yourself. And just calling a person such a nasty label when you don't know them at all is very much an act of violence in itself. The thing that many ass....s do, is find reasons to treat other people meanly. They justify their actions of treating another like crap by claiming they are the 'ass---holes', a person who has in fact done nothing against them. Purely based on some statement of who they say they are, again, with nothing other then an opinion of a facial expression, or a slap on the back, etc. Ass---s don't see themselves that way, and the way their brain does this is by finding excuses to justify their own bs. Like finding a reason to justify hating on Awa by claiming he is a 'bad sport' but it is really at it's core because you didn't like that he had Schoolboy running.... etc.

My impression of why they think he is unsportsmanlike is his relentless aggressiveness (which would be not bad in a tournament). SB was there for Larry and it seems Khaled was willing to win at all costs including willing to injure SB which is odd because SB had still had a right hand to go with Larry. So SB got injured, still right with Larry, Larry got his win. Was this Larry attempt to weaken SB(not hurt obviously) ? Who knows. People can speculate. I mean people did speculate I wasn’t thinking this but could be.
With that said I look forward to what potential Khaled has. I think in terms of marketing being hated is not bad. He just need to be careful not to piss off the wrong people.
I saw someone post his background story and about how people stop inviting him to practice because he was a threat. Could be true and also could be that factor that they think he is reckless and may injure others.
Anyway the more arm wrestling stars the better if this guy can continue to improve.
