Devon is unequivocally a legend, it's mind blowing just how strong his grip is and just how adept he is with his technique. His humility is pretty commendable when he is training and sparring with others. There's absolutely zero shame in losing to him.

I think it's really telling of someone who genuinely wishes the best for the sport of arm wrestling when they hype up other raw talent. No doubt Devon is a humble dude... Never followed arm wrestling or strong man competitions, but I have worked in media for years and this Larry guy is a great on camera host: good charismatic presence and natural with the camera. He reminds me of Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson in how he communicates!

@Fouren Larry did not just use strength. He used backpressure and drag to stretch awa open from his arm. Then he added pronation at the end to rotate awa palm up and on his bicep. The fact that awa held him in that open position shows he's very strong. If Devon taught him some backpressure/drag and makes him focus on his cup he will do very well. He beat a fresh national puller when he was tired from Larry and Devon. Beginner in the sport and already beating national level pullers is insane.
i ll be very happy to see this guy evolve and live a better life!

It was on TV ( Big huge square TV with wooden doors ) when I was 4 years old...my sister's who were a lot older than me were watching it...it got to the part he saw the prize truck and my mother came in and said "BED TiME".

What people fail to understand imo is that Devon and people on devon’s level attend and treat these as a training routine. You can tell by the way he’s just holding his grip and slowly pulling, he’s just working out. If someone on his level is to take it seriously, with quick movements and power bursts, he’s definitely going to injure Someone. This is equivalent to have a pro/heavyweight boxing champion fight random buff guys. It’s not going to end well.
