I've been scouring RUclips for physical therapy for my TFCC injury. These exercises are super good medicine. Armwrestlers are really such specialists when it comes to wrist/forearm structure...
My wrist has been killing me for months. I couldn't even do light weight curls. I used a hard ball like you showed and right away the pain disappeared. So evidently the tendons or nerve were tight. Thanks so much!
Great video thank you. I actually got interested in armwrestling by having elbow/wrist issues from other sports, and that brought me to your channel and learning about different ways to strengthen these areas.
I just liked this video wonderfully, I just have a problem with my wrist as they explained it, I already have time with it, I was just trying not to lift anything heavy to prevent it from getting worse.
@Burog1 mine too i cldnt even open doors I think I tore some of the connective tissue or something. I dont hook tho so idk why mines hurting( now on both) maybe from heavy grippers or something? Idk if it happens to everyone but even when I started training pronation one of those tendons would snap over my wrist bone really hard and wld hurt unless I did it with a cup. I've damaged just about everything when I was younger so idk if that's a me thing or normal haha
@@fishingpatriot2344 well mine isn’t so bad to wear I can’t turn doors but I do feel a dull ache in my wrist 24/7. When I do physical things at work or moving furniture I can feel a sharp pain in my wrist. Feels tender and vulnerable if you know what I mean
HI! I am having pain on that side of the wrist, but more in the center, towards the thumb, and the video did not explain what to do there, could I know how to reduce it? thanks!
Thank you for sharing this! My pain isn’t terrible, but it has been here for a few weeks and isn’t improving. I want to see if exercises/stretches will help before spending unnecessary time and money on visit to my NP.
What specific armwrestling exercises do you not do for heavy when you have this injury? I feel like supination and chopping down is out but wondering if I can still do heavy backpressure/rising, pronation, cupping and side pressure.
Originally thought I had this but turned out to be flexor carpi ulnaris. Tried the ball rolling and made it worse 😬 honestly feels best when I work through it and don't baby it. New to the sport so hoping it goes away.
Great video. I have ben having pain on the ulnar side of my arm, right inbetween of the wrist and elbow. I have been resting for about a month now with little improvement. I have been using a massage pistol. Is it still helpful to use the pistol and/or the exercises in this video while in pain or should I rest more? Can´t wait to get back to training
Just pure rest rarely fixes the pain more than temporary, especially for armwrestling related you have to keep moving and using the muscles and joints. That’s atleast what i’ve found for myself and also what Janis and Ray etc have talked alot about
Aw men I have the exact pain Right now I hope its fixed itself I got pain after armwrestling and now when im pronating or rising it hurts, Hope I didnt fck it up permanently
Hello, i've a question. if i do heavy hummer curl it hurts my ulnar wrist point. i started with 8kilo with pain, now i can do up to 16kg without pain, but if i add to 20kg it hurt again. What i should do? continuing with this path or change exercise? thanks
I really need help. For 1 year I've had pain between my thumb and wrist when I press something or make a sudden movement like cut a branch I went to the doctor (2 months ago) for an ultrasound and it turns out that I have a sequential bone microarachment of the trapeziometacarpal joint and the first ray. Our doctors are not so qualified and tell me to rest my hand (but it's been 1 year and I don't see any improvement). Do you have any advice: rehabilitative exercise or something else? Thank you very much
Hey, I’ve been having ulnar wrist pain for over a year. Typically most painful when I’m twisting my arm or lifting when my hands are supinated. Please help guys, I hurt it during boxing workout without wrapping my hands. X-ray and ultrasound show nothing, mri shows no severe damage just inflammation and fluid built up probably from overuse. I’ve gotten a cortisone shot didn’t really help, done laser therapy and shockwave as well. Any tips will help thanks!
This type of video are my favourite. question for you guys: it's about 2 months now that i can't use my backpressure at full Power, sometimes because of pain others the Power doesn't increase, what can i do? For the pain sometimes It goes and than It come back, but my main problem Is that in the Gym and at the table the backpressure doesn't improve. I pull regular every week and i do armwrestling Gym exercise for about 1.5 year. Hope you can help me? Thanks guys i learnd so many stuff from you!!!
I would start by not trying to increase your back pressure. stop training in the gym, and maybe dont pull that hard at the table with back pressure, more so try press and hook, for at least 1 month of bakc pressure recovery. It may take a long time till tendons are ok. Try again, massaging and pressure points, but also you may find some stretches that are beneficial, or some weird long range of motion exercises with stupid low weights that make you scream :D thats what helped me at least.
04:37 Can anyone able to do this? My hands do not rotate enough to do this what the heck? I can't turn my hand enough to put around my eyes like that. I don't have people around me to ask, can someone try and comment please. When I do this👌and try to pronate my hand it goes as far as parallel to the ground, in order to do what Janis does, I have to pronate another whopping 90 degrees. So it mean I lack 90 degrees of motion. Same for my left and right. 😐
@@josephcroft4268 I switched over to light training now cause of this. I can’t risk having this on both arms so I am a bit scared to go hard on left arm, rather keep it healthy. Everytime I come back to hard training my right wrist flares up bad and Ill feel the ulnar pain all day and a few days after, takes 4-7 days for the pain to settle down.
Glad you made this video. I had to quit armwrestling 6 months ago due to wrist pain. As far as I can tell its ulnar nerve damage. I cant pronate or supinate without pain and my tendons are not staying in place after my injury, there are moving over my bone and popping when I pronate and supinate with great pain. I havent gone to a doctor because I was waiting for it to fix itself, as I figured it was just tendon inflammation. But I dont think it will get better. It this something you see often? Am I done armwrestling?

Forget protein shakes or creatine. Be disciplined eating every day. Beef, chicken, fish, eggs, rice, oatmeal, few veggies/fruits. Drink only water. It’s really simple getting lean, but most people aren’t disciplined when it comes to eating habits.
I've had wrist pain for probably 10 months now. Won't really go away. Started in one wrist and now in the other. The other has disappeared after a few months of resting, and therapy. The other I have not focused on because it used to be mild now it is just as bad as the other side used to be. Occurs when rotating my wrist outward after a certain point.

Perfect time for this video! I had just tweaked my wrist in this exact spot. I will be using your advice for sure!
