Both my wrists were like that until I snapped my right wrist in half when I was 11. It healed and looks “normal” and people always ask what I did to my left wrist and then tell me to break the left one so I’m even.
Thanks a lot! These exercises also helps with my wrist pain!!! I fell down and injured my wrist half a year ago. The styloid process of ulnar has become more prominent on the injured side. whoa thanks for this! I "injured" my wrist over 10 years ago breakdancing and the bone jutted out. Went to a sports doctor, did xrays etc and they could not figure out why. There was no pain just annoying lollipop. Would get occasional soreness if I put too much pressure on the one wrist and it doesn't have as much range of motion as the good wrist. Lately I've been paying attention to my hands more, and joints/ligaments in my fingers and have discovered a lot. Any type of exercise or whatever change I make to my hands, I do it to only my left to compare the affects. I never really thought of the lollipop thing as the cause of a loose ligament but I've been strengthening my tendons and doing wrist rotations for a bit and it sticks out significantly less than my right hand.
my drill took my hand round too far a few times one year and since then ive had such bad lolipop wrist my only option was surgery, which i didnt go for due to work commitments not affording me the time off for recovery. my work around was weight lifting wrist supports, using a nail gun instead of using a metal hammer and use a nail gun every time i work (im a carpenter). the only thing that seemed to help was bouldering which i failed to stick to. im so glad i found this video... i just tried these with my resistand bands and its almost an immediate improvement... i'll stick to these and hopefully be much better off for it. thanks dude!

"Fixed in 5 minutes" proceeds to tell us it takes 6-8 weeks.
You know how to detect bullshit.
Get a 5 gallon bucket, fill it like 3/4 of the way with rice. Put your hands in up to your mid forearm and workout, do all these same movements in the rice. It's nice even resistance, helps with arthritis in your hands as well by making them much stronger
How about lifting dumbbells focusing on the wrists?
Is this something to worry?
Thanks man, ive had this exact problem for so long... it bothers me when moving my hand in certain ways and even causes me some pain and discomfort when im climbing (im a rock climber). All the info you gave is very usefull and im happy to know I can fix it.
if it ain't broken don't fix it
I have a solution. find a hammer and flatten it
Don't fix it because lollipop laagelu... 🤣 🤣 🤣!!!
Bhojpuri
Have these exercises worked to fix your own lollipop? Would love to see some before/afters.
It does make me wonder how he can be so confident about how to fix the issue when he has the issue, himself, and if he fixed it during the course of making this video, why he didn't show his fixed wrist at the end. I don't want to be skeptical, but 6-8 weeks of diligent exercise is a lot to ask without a little more assurance that it's worth it.
I do bench press expertise around 50-60kg(I’m a rather slim build) will that create an issue in my chest press or any exercises that require good grip or pressure on it
My wrist is supposed to be like that lol
Its been 6 weeks and a few days since I sprained my wrist, I sometimes feel numbing on my forearm and wrist, is that fine? I have full range of motion now, but sometimes the bone sticking out clicks
Depends what you mean by numbing. Do you lose sensation?
@@physioevangelist only sometimes but so far my grip strength is the same as it used to be. Although my left forearm and wrist is a bit smaller than my right now due to having it in bands for 4 weeks
@@wene3280 I think build muscle these will help. its been 1 week so far since injury i started these exercises and literaaly the first excerside i had something pop and felt way better. i am now struggling to find something to hold my hand in place. since i cant im just starting to build muscle to help it keep in place
FUCKKK I HAVE L;IKLIPPOP RWRIST
I don't think this is a problem
my wrists started looking like this after I lost a lot of weight years ago so I thought it was cos I lost weight. But over time I've put back on some weight but my wrist looks exactly the same as back then with the lollipop bone... never felt any discomfort... Eitherways if I keep living without fixing it there shouldn't be any problems yeah?
I had a huge fracture when i was a child...lot of damage that nearly cost my my right hand...and now i have a huge prominent styloid process...even my hand is going more toward my radius (unfortunately, i can't attach a picture on RUclips to show the problem). I can't turn much my hand (like i can with my left arm) and my right hand is kinda unstable plus it hurt.
how could i strengthen the tendons with the limitation of movement i have?
I work out a lot so the hands strength are pretty strong...but i would like to reduce the pain a little and improve the right wrist stability.
My friends called me fat because I didn’t have these 😂 I’m the lucky one in the situation, and I’m not fat. I’m healthy.
I was this many years old when I found out that my “lollipop” wasn’t just a natural part of my wrist but actually a weakness in my wrist….who knew🤷🏼
Well, I guess you did lol
Man, I've had this all my life, even when I was a pro-athlete I didn't even know this was a problem.
I broke my left wrist in a football game long ago and right one by burpee jump (guess due to weak left wrist), now I need to keep pushing my wrist towards my pinkie to reset the wrist, I think your workout's gonna help!
