What would you do about upper lat( rear of shoulder)/ teres minor sever tenderness and cramping anytime I bend down to grab something/ put arms overhead after deadlifting / heavy pulls/ rows ? I’ve had this issue in both shoulders/ rear shoulder for a while now and I don’t know how to fix it, the cramping pain is pretty terrible and lasts for a couple days after a heavy deadlift/ rowing session ? Any ideas as to why this is happening after heavy lat work ?
I'm five minutes in and the production quality, succinct exposition, and breadth of knowledge explained for layman is beyond anything I've seen on RUclips. I'm looking forward to using this to help rehabilitate my own wrist injury.
This is by far the best rehab video I have ever seen! This video helps me immensely. The exercises, the wrist anatomy explained, the program examples and all the tips are of great use. Thank you so much!
I'm a 66-year-old athlete who had his pinky knuckle fractured in basketball by my opponent slapping the ball away. After the cast was removed all the tendons and ligaments in my hand, wrist and forearm were and are extremely painful. I just want to thank you for your video and what seems to be a very good advice and knowledge. Jonathan
I have had wrist pain for months and I needed to fix it before I go to boot camp due to the amount of push ups I'll be doing lol. The exercises in this video helped me fix my wrist pain and now I am ready to endure everything boot camp throws at me. Thank you and God bless you!
Hey just wanted to say thankyou for basically being my physical therapist I haven't had money for physical therapy so I did just mange with what they taught me when I was going and have been watching so many of your videos I do appreciate what you have done as it has helped get stronger over this past year slowly but I have definitely made progress with your vids also the haters that complain about beneficial knowledge are something else
This channel is a lifesaver! Makes me feel a lot smarter than I really am. I was diagnosed with tendonopathy in both wrists, but nothing I was told is as good as this. THANK YOU!
Awesome quality as always! Thank you guys so much for putting so much time, effort and of course knowledge into your videos. You really help me and others understand the progressions of rehab. That helps tremendously in taking "informed ownership" of my injuries while working with other health professionals. I've been sharing your videos left and right with people who might need them. Keep it up!
If someone asked me what do you regret more in life? My answer would be not having known you earlier. You literally are the physiotherapist most sapient I’ve ever seen so far. This video is gold and I love each second of all the explanations. I’ve been suffer from wrist pain for 5 years now and I swear god I’ve tried everything. I hope this one will help me eventually for life. So thank you in advance. You’re my man ❤
Outstanding video! Organized, clear, practical, dense (high signal to noise ratio in text and images), authoritative and accessible. Really a great vid all around. Thanks for investing in this and posting it for us all.
Love this video. Thank you. I am recovering from a bone bruise in my wrist and having a brace on for two months and taking off my brace, my wrist was so tight and painful, and I didn't know where to start. So thank you.
I'm using the entirety of your channel rehab to learn and fix my body and tbh at this point I kinda would like to collab with you lol like the amount of progress I'm making across the board is worthy or a certificate in phsycial therapy for me lol you are amazing
This was an insanely informative and helpful video. I feel like I just got a free physical therapy session. I've had a wrist injury for years and haven't been able to do a pushup without pain since then, until trying it with one of your adjustments. I'm really relieved and stoked! Do you have any information on rehab for spine or back? Mine is falling apart.
I unfortunately gave myself tendonitis and am still recovering from the tendonitis and it's been at least eight weeks this video is gonna be helpful to help me with rehab and good information when I am able to get back into the gym.
Please make all your videos long and with a lot of information, we are physiotherapist, we need this informations, talk too much, i was very happy 😃 in every second of this video
Many many thanks for this video - as others have written before me, this is the best video I have seen so far in regards to wrist injuries. I underwent surgery two years after a bicycle fall as conservative treatment did not lead to a pain free life and during the arthroscopy they found that my TFCC had been torn off completely on the ulnar side. Now, four months after the surgery, I start to regain more and more mobility and strength. I have one question though and would love to get your answer, @E3 Rehab: Does the Powerball in your opinion also help with this type of injury and with full recovery from it? I have seen it advertised as helpful with carpal tunnel syndrom - but I wonder if people with an injured TFCC would also benefit from it. A direct reply would be very much appreciated, maybe also for others in my situation. Keep up the good work! Best, Jonathan
This is a great video. However, at 7:10 there is one movement that you did not cover, and that is pulling. I can do all the exercises you listed with little to no pain. However, when I get on a pull up bar or similar pulling movement is when I experience the most discomfort. I have not been able to find much information on what to do for this.
If and when you have spare time, could you make a video about pain near or directly at pes anserinus? Have been dealing with this for 2 years, it's not bursitis. When I'm bearing weight on the leg and flex quads, it hurts directly over the pes ans. Not sure what I should do to treat it.
Hi ! I've got pain that comes in goes in my Lunate area of the wrist, very specific area. It comes once every 4-5 months and making it very hard for me to do any flexion / extention of the wrist . Should I just wait it out and start training for the wrist mobility..? Really no idea what to do here and would love your help.
I had a problem with my wrist, doing a strain(tfcc) while doing push ups, cannot bench or press any dumbells in the gym it hurts or the pressing movements while doing both deviations
Hi E3! I recently had a bouldering injury where I pulled too hard on a hold and now my left wrist hurts every time I pull. It feels like the inside of my wrist and not like it's on the TFCC. Any idea what happened?
Hey my pain is from finger wrist just like carpal tunnel then in forearm and elbow like tennis elbow till my whole arms n shoulder..I am not getting what it is😢
Thank you so much for watching! Here's the blog for additional reference: e3rehab.com/blog/wrist-pain-rehab/
