Coach Ray thanks for making time for videos. They have really helped me train smart. I’m 61 and trying to make a comeback after 30 + years.I hope to be competitive in the senior class in 2 or 3 years. Love this sport 💪❤️
In each case, the movement made the most impact after 15-20 reps. Good point made on the positioning of the wrist in the first exercise. Almost unlimited angles to work the muscle groups. Thank you, we’ll done!
This is a great video. I've been attempting to rehab an injured wrist for 9 or 10 months now. Almost everything else I've seen has been such linear and inefficient protocols. The muscle engagement I get from these exercises is next level. Wrist rehab/prehab is really in the wheelhouse of the armwrestling community. There's a nuanced layer of expertise here, likely because of the competitive drive from the sport. So thankful to have gone down this rabbit hole as a fan/spectator and to have it bring real world value to me.
When it comes to learn armwrestling , in this world no one can do this better than coach ray , thanks for sharing such precious knowledge with us all the time। 👌❤️
@@voiceofarmwrestling yes because bulletproof wrists will attract more non-armwrestlers too as people love the idea of bulletproof wrists for all trainings
Excellent vid, thanks for sharing! Straight and to the point. Most of these I can use while working from home at a desk chair (as long as I remember to turn my camera off!) Thanks again.
Hey Coach Ray. Martins Licis WSMis from Latvia like you, He's going there for visit, maybe you guys could do colab, like you did with Smuchsalis . Martins has crazy grip, should be fun and he's great guy. I'm sure Neil could set you guys up. I'm a big fan of your content. Thanks guys.
Man this is exactly what I need. I have wrist pain at the ulna side, I think because of training the wrist mostly at rising movement and pronation, and not at chopping/ulna. I really should do that more to get stronger at ulna side and these exercises in the video are great! Thanks a lot 💪🏻👍🏻
@@karalmom5669 Yes it did! I used exercises in this video from Ray ruclips.net/video/SVejAOBDda0/видео.html I did 6 exercises almost every day and stretching. Meanwhile I didn’t train as heavy and much as before for a while. After a few weeks the pain was less and then went away. Now I keep doing the exercises in all directions to maintain the mobility. I think the training in only a few directions (the ones used at AW) led to the injury in my case.
Hey brother been awhile, hope things are good. Content is great as always, really impressed by your Armwars match. Anybody planning to armwrestle you needs to prepare for a war
could you do a video about armwrestling injuries and armwrestling training injuries symptoms, possibly therapy training or whether it could mean surgery

i love you Coach Ray. i ve done this for quite a month and yesterday i was able to perform 2 hour long sparring....long road to be healthier but it s a start----THANKS MAN
Coach ray, my wrists make a clunking sound when going from ulnar to radial deviation or in reverse, especially when clenching my fist (or holding onto something). Is that just an anatomical thing? I've read it's likely a tendon moving over a bone or something like that. It's not painful unless it's under a lot of load and then it clunks.
Could you please maby do oje on yiur triceps I have been struggling since I've started putting more and more hours on the table and maby like how many breaks you need in a week and break days between heavy sets
Thank you very much SIR for sharing this valuable information with us। SIR I have a question , i am going to fight against a perosn who is bigger than me and his arms length (14 inches) , wrist(9.2 inches), hands length(10 inches) and hands girth(11.5) is bigger than me as well ,, He is very very strong in top rolling because of all this leverage ,, but in strength terms i am stronger than him but still I lost against him all the time। What special workout do i need to do or what techniques can i add to win over him। Kindly help me on that।🙂🙂
I really like keeping a heavy hammer and working on these movements. It's easy to adjust the weight of the pressure. You can do lightweight or heavy isometrics.
i have strong arms but my right wrist its not strong enough every time a good toproller hits i feel like wrist gonna dislocate in my pinky side this don't happen in my left wrist my left wrist its superb matched with my arm strength but why my right wrist feels like that i always thought my right arm its the strongest one does this mean i only should pull with the left ?!
My left wrist has been messed up for years (somehow doing skull crushers) and now my right wrist as well somehow randomly, so i can't even do normal pushups without severe pain. Will try these exercises, thanks!
When I’m rising or chopping down in full range of motion my wrist is cracking and popping, especially with straight wrist. Is that normal, can I do anything against it?
Hey Ray I've torn 2 ligaments on my right hand. Would you recommend these exercises for reha or are there other exercises if you're already injured. I would appreciate your advice🙏
@@devoncyplenkov7746 If he is in pain already that will inflame the tendon. Do JM presses and other exercises that activate counteracting muscle groups to release pressure on the tendon. The worst thing you can do to an aggravated tendon is directly overload it.

Coach ray, Should I do this before workout?
Great exercises! How often would you do these?
At least once per week, at most probably 4 times, unless you keep it very light, in which case you could likely do it 5 or even 6 times per week.
I do it every night in the shower.
Depends on how heavy you go. Even multiple times a day is good as long as it's just a pump and not a heavy workout
And this is the training ermes needs 😆

Just look up pulley strap there will be many options to look at
