I have found that incorporating the Punch City drill into my training routine has significantly improved my speed. I have realized the importance of doing this drill more frequently, as it has become one of my all-time favorite drills to practice. Great job Sam!
Thinking like a stunt plane flying vertical to a point then cutting engine and then free falling until engine is restarted and the plane curves back up again very quickly so it doesnt it the ground is the best way to explain the feeling of accelerating through the ball. Make sense?
My swing thought to get more speed in the impact zone is to make and trail arm more passive during the downswing until I need to bring the club out into the ball at impact.
I agree and that train of thought works for certain people. I've found many with that thought don't fully accelerate at the ball when saying "through the ball" which causes peak speed to be a foot or 2 in front of the ball. Or they maintain the same speed through a longer range from backswing to followthrough which loses them speed and distance by "dragging" it through the zone.

I’ve been trying everything to apply speed at the right time and this solved it for me! Thank you! I feel like it’s a tommy fleetwood style swing
So glad it helped!
Dude! Thanks so much. Looking forward to seeing that RUclips plaque on your wall. It won’t take long
Thank you!! Appreciate that!

Interesting stuff. I've got to figure out how to hit the ball square before I can think about applying speed😅

Love it! I talk in a previous video about having a passive trail arm.
good vid
I always think fast hands at the last 18 inches before impact
his punch shot is 150+ yards. get out of here
Not comfortable with speed "AT THE Golf Ball"! It should be a focus "THROUGH" the ball. The ball should just be in the way.
