He knew better Cindy would have come out of the corner and knocked them both out. Clearing their consciences. lol nope both of them are toxic and self entitled.
Kelly broke girl code big time. Even if she and Dylan had split it still wouldve been betrayal of the ultimate level. No genuine girlfriend would date a friends ex ever. So wrong and not a real friend.
And they weren’t even broken up at first which means likely a big part of them breaking up was the cheating (even if it was just in Dylan’s mind that he might have wanted someone new )

i was too young to fully grasp everything that'd gone on b/t this trio when i originally watched this. after years of rewatching this series, and this storyline, i was definitely annoyed and understood brenda's feelings here. this whole situation was messy from the start. this was definitely the turning point for brenda and kelly, as their friendship was never the same after this, and understandably so.
There's like a correlation between the style/look and the integrity of the characters in this scene lol. - Brenda: honest character who immediately tells Dylan about her summer adventure > sublime hair, perfect jeans/boots/leather jacket style. - Kelly/Dylan: hide everything, lie for six months, conveniently wait for Brenda to take the initiative to break up to form a couple > ugly clothes and bad hairstyles. The attention to detail is incredible 😄.
I agree Kelly and Dylan’s outfits are appalling here. To be honest also in the scene Iris arrives at Dylan’s home and meets Kelly for the first time, Kelly’s outfit is horrendous there too. However here I think the choice of ugly outfits is to highlight that they feel uncomfortable having this conversation . They look awful, so the audience can feel that they also feel awful.
Chile, this scene between Brenda, Dylan and Kelly still gets to me. Dylan and Kelly did not give an eff about Brenda's feelings. I dont care what anyone says, Kelly is a backstabbing B!!
i watched a handful of these over the year as reruns in about 2014 just before 10 Peach I think it was replaced it with Family Feud and the only characters female that followed girl code from the early years would have been Andrea and Donna.I would rather have friends like that who are genuine than those more fake than a cheap knock off from Bali Gucci bag.
The moment she opened the door and saw both of them, look at her eyes. In that moment she put 2+2 together and realized what was happening. I hate the fact they needed to tell her but then admit the affair, basically kicking her while she is down. Then expected her to be okay with it given how they reacted when she got upset. Felt so sorry for her.
I was "ok" with Dylan doing this but I was never ok with Kelly!! Her BFF that helped her pick her outfits to go out with him , the friend that helped her sneak out to see him and her confident when she told her, she had her first time with Dylan. Don't get me wrong , Dylan is not innocent but for me the betrayal was harder coming from Kelly, the person that had basically access to Brenda's life to only take advantage of it.
She knew what was going to happen and she chose to continue being friends with Kelly. If your friend admits to flirting with your boyfriend, do you continue to be her friend? In season 1, Kelly admitted to him that she had tried to get closer to Dylan and Brenda continued to be her best friend
This was the most iconic scene on the show and the betrayal that Brenda feels is completely justified although she too had a fling in Paris with Rick so Im kinda stuck on her being a hypocrite but still the acting was intense! The intensity where she flung Kelly's hand away from her hair 1:52! Not a far strech for Shannon since she was feuding with Jenny!
The fling with Rick was indeed a form of cheating however this was her boyfriend and her best friend cheating. That’s like a million x worse and more hurtful than her cheating with some random stranger.
Brendon/Kelly was no better! There was no chemistry! And Brandon was boring with Kelly! In my opinion, Dylan should have been paired with Kelly since the start (without the Brenda drama).
i found the whole Kelly/Donna friendship more genuine from day dot and they truly cared.it was towards the very end of the first generations one they dreamed of the day they would not only be besties but sisters.Through Donna marrying David that really happened. It reminded me a lot of Neighbours in regards to Piper and Xanthe being good true mates and thinking to myself what if under different circumstances the TV mom and dad had got married or well before that the original full house what if Gia's Mom and Stephanie's Dad they had got together and the two girl besties also became sisters.
30 ish years later, and this scene still bugs the crap out of me...I've never been cheated on, so why is this so triggering?? Lol 😭 I hate that they did this to her, especially Kelly, once a ho always a ho I guess. Ugh, so much for girl code. Team Brenda forever! ❤❤

The fact that People STILL get riled up, showed the writers were ON to something....VERY big, for 90's TV.... (3:19) .....
it backfired in the ratings though---since Dylan quickly realized he did not like being with Kelly. That was most of season 4--when they were in college. If it had worked they would have kept Dylan and Kelly together as a very public couple.
I always wonder why Dylan seems so angry, as if Brenda did anything to him .. I suppose he is feeling bad about seeing Brenda so miserable, and he cannot handle it better. I feel sooo sorry for Brenda here 😢
I think Dylan’s ego was bruised that Brenda found Reek. Men always think they’re the only ones who can have an affair. Dylan wanted Brenda to pine over him. Both he and Kelly had an axe to grind. Dylan wanted to hurt Brenda for breaking up with him, he thought since Kelly always wanted him she was the easier choice…jokes on him 😂. Kelly wanted Brenda’s perfect life so this was her way of at least getting the guy since she couldn’t have the Walsh’s as parents since her home life was so f-ed up. Two selfish people who deserved each other. They did Brenda a favor.

Kelly and Dylan are so hideous! It bugged me that the rest of the group didn't backup Brenda, specially Brandon but I have just read some comments that made sense. And at the end he revanged his twin (not conciously, thought) : Kelly cheated on Dylan with him and then he cheated on Kelly (satisfying!)... it's not that the gang didn't support Brenda. They did, but they actually acted maturely: they were all also friends with Dylan, so they wanted them both happy and for all of their gang to stay friends, so it's normal they didn't just start to hate Dylan. Relationships fall apart all the time when you are young, and Brenda finally moved on too. So when Dylan and Brenda broke up, the gang kinda felt like children of divorce, that you had to choose a side, while you shouldn't, and they decided to simply wait and give both Dylan and Brenda space, and since Brenda was more hurt, they simply didn't want to upset her, but they couldn't simply cut off Dylan and Kelly, they were all friends, and mature thing to do is to leave people involved so they can heal but stay friends with everyone. And this is what the gang did, as they should. Also, Brandon always supported Brenda - he even covered for her when she went to Palm Springs to Dylan, he covered for her at the beach club during the summer, when she was with Dylan, and lied to her parents. He was a very good brother, but Brenda constantly created problems and her own drama, that's the truth. And while this made the show more interesting, Brenda had to finally pay the consequences and understand a few things. the truth is Jim was always right about Dylan, and always right about Brenda who was too dramatic and too immature, and Dylan got tired of this too. The episodes before Paris when Brenda started to live with Dylan in his house, and really against his will, because she just shows up at his house at night, so he kinda had to take her in, were clear signs of the first trouble in the paradise. Dylan didn't want to play home, he was rich, young, and carefree and he was always a womanizer, you can tell that these episodes are really the beginning of the end, it happened way earlier than Brenda's Paris trip. Dylan was just tired of Brenda's drama too. They were too young for serious problems and serious relationships like this.
@rickyspanish2337 I agreed. They never were neutral, it was always Kelly. It was always expect for Brenda to be the bigger person and forgive Dylan and Kelly. Donna mentioned many times to Brenda to forgive Kelly so we can be the friends we use too. Donna even had the audacity to ask Brenda if they could throw Kelly's surprise Birthday party at her house whe she was still recovering from the break up. It was expect for her to come. Brenda is bigger person than I am bc I wouldn't go and if I did I would probably cost a scene or give her a petty gift. I wouldn't be inviting them for Thanksgiving. As for Brandon, he wasn't a good brother. As much as I love him. He was pissed off when Brenda wouldn't want to hang with the gang due to the fact it still hurt to see Dylan and Kelly. He still remain friends with Dylan. I'm really close with my sister and I wouldn't be friends with the guy who cheated on her with her best friend and lied to her for months. Also let not forget the rumor that Steve started. Brandon believe Steve over Brenda and gave her no support. The rumor was serious. The rumor could have made her a target for harassment. If it got to the dean, she could gave gotten kick out of school, it could have been harder to find job or go to another college. The professor could have lost his license. Brenda forgive Steve and the others to easy imo
@sailorsister211 FKN THANK U, everything u said is what I wanted to say but couldn't put into words, I also have a sister, and if the guy I was friends with dumped her for her "best friend" I probably would've broken his nose, and we all know who donna "REAL" friend is, and also do u remember the beginning of Season 5 when Valerie came on they went out, to where Dylan saw kelly and Brandon together and he caused a seen and Val said "Brenda's Dylan and Donna dared to say "Kelly's Dylan"
@@rickyspanish2337 Donna said that because he was Kelly's Dylan! Kelly was the one he had dated most recently and he hadn't been with Brenda for a while at the time.
This is why I had no problem with Valerie when the character came on. Luke Perry's acting was so natural because he was really pissed off at SD. That's actually the reason he pushed for a Kelly relationship so he didn't need to be in many scenes with SD.
Why was he pissed at SD?? And why ask for a storyline like that he could've pushed for him cheating on her with a stranger, that would've been a wayyy better storyline

The writers really fumbled the ball on this storyline. They were hoping if they told the audience Brenda was to blame we would believe them. Just like them telling the audience Kelly was the most pretty and fashionable one when in reality Brenda was the prettiest and Donna was the most fashionable. Kelly was homely and matronly with short big legs, clothes didn’t look good on her.
@@ladybug7273Oh come on! I was agreeing with what you were saying & I felt really bad for Brenda too! But Brenda & Kelly were equally beautiful in their own ways. There is no need to insult anyone's looks or body!
The Brenda fan girls are getting insane. Their love for the character seems to come solely from their own experience of getting dumped and projecting like crazy. And then when you call them out for this, they get so defensive
Correct me if I'm wrong. But didn't Brenda say she wanted to see other people and have a fling with Dean Cain's character in Paris? So I've always been confused as to why Brenda is acting like they were still a couple and that Dylan cheated. It seems like a double standard/hypocrisy.
This is one of those instances where telling the truth does not help. They told Brenda to make themselves feel better and alleviate their guilt. They destroyed her.
Imagine Kelly getting mad because Brenda assumed they slept together! Honey, you were seeing your best friend's guy behind her back and you think you're the one who gets to be deeply offended?? Really?
And this whole mess proved that Jim was right about Dylan from the get-go. He knew that Brenda was way too young to be this much romantically involved with the guy who was a simple fuck boy, womanizer and would never settle, was messed up, and entangled in just too many shady things. Brenda sacrificed a lot of her energy and life for this relationship, yet she was still too emotionally immature to understand the consequences, and that it was a waste of time, life goes on, and she will meet a lot of great guys, and way better guys along the way than Dylan. Jim knew it because he had experience, and Brenda should have listened to him. Many of the fans always gave crap to Jim, but the truth is he was a great, typical dad who just had life experience and wanted to protect his kids, especially since he knew there will be a lot of temptations like this for his children in Beverly Hills. Beverly Hills is not Minnesota, and Jim knew. And for people who constantly whine about how Jim treated Brandon differently - that is only true to some degree, and also these people disregard the context. First, Brandon had more freedom because no matter how you try to twist it, it is different for girls! Boys get over 'romantic' relationships way quicker, aren't as emotionally involved as girls at a young age, and boys cannot get pregnant and ruin their whole lives with unwanted pregnancy, girls can. That's not to disparage girls, but it's a simple biological fact. Jim knew Brandon could handle a lot of things connected to sex, that Brenda couldn't. And he was proven right. Secondly, Brandon was always portrayed as the more responsible twin, who held a stable job and earned his own money, was a great and responsible student who took a lot of additional classes and hobbies, like the school newspaper, worked hard, and what's more important he NEVER created as much drama as Brenda did, since day 1. People who bring up the incident when Brandon got drunk and had a car accident forget that these episodes were written literally to show how Brandon let himself go once and let himself be a carefree teenager, finally, after years of being almost ridiculously responsible, and solid. That was his one-time rebellion! Brenda rebelled all the time - and thus, her parents started to restrict and control her more. Brandon never ran away with his girlfriend to Mexico without the documents when he was in high school, Brenda did with Dylan - that's the point! Also, Brandon always supported Brenda - he even covered for her when she went to Palm Springs to Dylan, he covered for her at the beach club during the summer, when she was with Dylan and lied to her parents. He was a very good brother, but Brenda constantly created problems and her own drama, that's the truth. And while this made the show more interesting, Brenda had to finally pay the consequences and understand a few things. Also, the truth is Dylan cheated on her and went after Kelly because he was tired of Brenda's drama, and you can tell it's the beginning of the end, in the episode when Brenda runs away from home and appears at Dylan's front door, and starts living with him and playing home. He was never that serious in this relationship, he understood they are both too young for this. What I find interesting is that Dylan often agreed with Jim and Cindy more than with Brenda in some situations, but Brenda usually created trouble for the two of them all by herself, by doing many crazy things, exactly like when she went with Dylan to Mexico and didn't tell him her parents forbade her, and that she didn't take her documents with her. Also, Brenda cheated with Rick. So all the people who always paint Brenda as a pure, poor victim seriously need to stop! Brenda was at fault for many bad things that happened to her because she was too immature, too dramatic, and often arrogant - facts!
@@lexkanyima2195 she snuck off to a foreign country. You can’t blame him for being mad. He knew she was way too young to devote her life to one man at that point in her life. he knew Dylan’s reputation and that he could possibly cheat on Brenda with another girl
This was a sad time in the show. Not just because of the cheating, but also because we know that Brenda would be leaving not long after...permanently. I'm glad she came back for the reboot though
Glad that Dylan got his when Brandon got with Kelly. Karma comes back to bite everyone. True friends don't do this to each other. Karma didn't stick around long Kelly cheated on Brandon with Dylan next 😂 Do you really think this reboot counts? Dylan left his son because the actor wasn't present in this reboot here's the answer 🤷♀️
I always preferred the Dylan/Brenda relationship, but in context, I find the Dylan/Kelly relationship consistent. It’s a “comfortable” relationship. The main driving force behind Dylan's estrangement is the Walsh's rejection. With Kelly, he can live a relationship without constraint and without the fear of rejection. We can consider that Dylan begins to regret his choice as soon as his father dies. But at this point, it's hard to go back. In a way, I'm happy with this choice. Because Dylan and Brenda's story of post-love friendship is incredibly powerful. A sort of never-ending story in a way.

They always do it... they don't let scenes finish properly, especially the musical scores of the scenes which are so important. They just startle you with the main theme song and cut you off just before the scenes reach their emotional (and musical score) climax. It's really disappointing.
“I hate you bother, never talk to me again” I wish Brenda stuck to her word. She had every right hate them both, cut them from her life, to feel betrayed but they had her forgive them way to quickly and make her look like the bad guy and HER learn the lesson of forgiveness. This always upset me. Plus no one took her side, even her own brother.
Brandon did support her, and he does care, but they are not children, Brenda chose Dylan even when she knew he is a womanizer, and Brandon warned Brenda then. She didn't want to listen, so what he was supposed to do now? Dylan warned him to not get involved, and Brandon was Dylan's friend too. Brandon supported Brenda, but it is like being a child of divorce - you had to pick a side, and you shouldn't have to. Brandon simply acted more maturely and gave them both more space and time, and Brenda in the end got over it.
If I can take a quote from Madame Giry in "The Phantom Of The Opera" to describe this dreadful moment of the series: "Heaven help you, those who doubt. This miscasting will invite damnation."
I remember watching this scene for the first time when it aired…Brenda was so bad ass and it felt so good for her to say “I hate you both” to those characters…however it hurts to see that her character had to endure that. Brenda deserved better.
Kelly was the worst she treated brenda like garbage only dylan & donna stood by her. Kelly always really loved brandon from season 1. Brandon actually made her a better happier person. Anyway brenda brought dylan up & her family became him. Also dylan & kelly never ever told the other they loved eachother. Kelly even admitted to dylan " wuthout the sex we have no relationship" bingo . They were toxic. Also when brandon proposed he told her he didnt exoect marriage right away just a show of commitment & that he woupd marry her when she was ready. Also when kelly got pregnant by brandon when they finally got back together after 2 years ( i guess they were so happy they threw caution to the wind brandon was immediately thrilled & told her he was right by her side. They took a walk on the beach where kelly went on & on w/ reasons to abort & brandon told her maybe its time to put someone ahead of that & " is there ever a right time. Please get rid of the outro of the main opening theme at the end of each of these videos and let the scenes end as they did originally, instead of abruptly cutting them, startling us with the loud music of the opening theme. It ruined the whole somber feel of the scene. You cut out Brenda walking away and Dylan and Kelly looking at her leaving, missing out the beautiful music which accompanied this scene written by Gary Stevan Scott, which started immediately after she told them to never speak to her. You can't just cut a scene like that prematurely and jump to the happy cheerful main theme song every time. It makes this very sad and emotional scene seem less powerful than it actually is and was intended to be. It's almost ridiculous without the conclusion of the scene and the music that accompanied it. The scene ended on a somber note with beautiful, gentle and sad music, again written by Gary Evan Scott, as Dylan and Kelly look on as Brenda is walking away. The musical outro to this video should have been the the original music composed for this scene right up until the credits started to roll. You pay no respect to the composers of the show when you cut out their music. I honestly don't care about trademarked songs being cut out like Losing My Religion and whatnot. But the original show's compositions are part of the soul and heart of 90210. The score of the show was like 30% of what made it such a tearjerker in practically every episode and so many scenes (I mean the instrumental music originally composed for the show, not the trademarked rock and pop songs that got cut out due to copyright issues.) And you're overdoing it with the main theme song startling us with it at the end of each video, I can't hear that tune anymore, and I used to love that opening theme. It also means that making playlists of videos on this channel is literally unbearable. Especially when you cut such sad scenes with the cheerful, loud 90210 main theme. Let the scenes fade out with the original scores that accompanied them. It'll make a whole world of difference for the better and represent the show better to people who don't know it. It looks ridiculous when Brenda says "I hate you both, never talk to me again" and then boom, the happy cheerful 90201 theme song startles us instead of the somber music that scene actually ended with, giving it its proper "conclusion" as the writers, director, composer and editor had all intended. You killed the climax of the scene and made it look drastically less powerful than it actually was.
...my dear....these, are 'shorts', to get Viewers who HAVEN'T seen the Show, to watch it on streaming services.....they're separating them as 'previews' to relive the past moments for Viewers who saw it iin it's previous incarnations (DVD, FOX-TV, etc.) ....."Friends" does it also.....
@@RBS_ Yeah and those who haven't are getting the wrong impression by the way they abruptly end the scenes without their original dramatic and musical conclusions. It wouldn't change the length of the video if they ended them as they should... they could still fadeout from the scene to the logo in the end, but let the music from the original scene fade out with the video instead of STARTLING us with the main theme each time. It kills the vibe when one watches a sad scene and then BOOM cut to the "ta na na na ta na na na" each time. I can't hear it anymore, and I used to love that theme. Just my opinion. And like I said, the show's music was part of its magic. Brenda leaving to that original music written by Gary Evan Scott is what made it so good. Cutting from her telling them to not speak to her to the cheerful main theme just killed the entire buildup. It almost makes it look funny, unfortunately.
It's funny how all the blame is on Kelly while it was really Dylan who chased her all summer while Kelly was pushing him away for all sake's. Even Brenda blamed all on Kelly and was still drooling for Dylan after what he did. And the blame is on Kelly, yeeeaapp
He began chasing Kelly after she was sneaking around him consistently and flirting big time, since the very moment Brenda jumped into the van, to put her arms around him citing Casablanca and meeting him alone in the cabin at the beach... Well, she got him to fancy her big time ! Bravo! (Sarcasm)
I liked Brenda’s wardrobe, it was a little edgy, just like Shannon was in real life. Kelly was more of a prissy dresser, always trying to appear prim and proper and innocent, when she was far from a pure virgin. I think Brenda looked better with Dylan than Kelly did, her edginess suited Dylan.
....a rundown.... (cont.) DONNA - ...tried, warned Kelly, knew to stay neutral, didn't know Kelly continued w/ Dylan.. ANDREA - ...never 'close' w/ Brenda, still healing from the Leg injuries ... @@RBS_ David made sense because of Nikki originally so he would have been a huge hypocrite. Donna tried to stay neutral and just get everyone to be friends again. Steve and Brenda were never close. Andrea had her own problems. Brandon is the one that makes no sense. He already told Dylan off twice in earlier seasons for standing her up and later when he believed Dylan broke up with her. But when he cheats on her, he doesn't care.
David and Kelly shared a sister and lived in same house. Donna dating David and Kelly was her best friend. Steve cared about Kelly deeply. They loved Kelly more. I guess Brandon didn't let his personal feeling get in the way of his friendship. Plus teenager. They hardly have the right or wrong reaction.
Very few of the girls followed the Girl code.Donna and Andrea were the exceptions from memory.Off topic I remembered those two always wanting to learn and take part in things and there was more to life than the beach and guys.
Again, not reading the comments. But the last couple of lines always cracked me up. Because you knew she'd talk to both of them again. So it just seemed overdramatic. I'm not saying she didn't have a right to be upset and hurt. She did. But it still made me laugh.
Yeah.. 'cause nobody's ever said "never talk to me again" and didn't actually follow through with it. Only Brenda Walsh on 90210. It's a pretty common thing to say when someone's really mad and hurt. I guess you "crack up" easily. :)
I just wish the screen writers didn't make Brenda mope over Dylan after. She was too gorgeous, confident and good to beat herself up abt Dylan and Kelly. Wish she had just dated and forgot Dylan ever existed. Dylan was gross, couldn't wait to break up with Brenda just to get with Kelly.
Didn’t understand why Brandon stayed friends with Dylan after this, this was such a shitty thing to do to your friend, everyone said how much Dylan loved Brenda, imm sorry Dylan only ever cared about himself
Brandon and Dylan were best friends and Brenda repeatedly told him to mind his own business. Brenda also cheated on Dylan with Rick and was the one who broke up with him. Dylan, thankfully moved on with his life and she was just being an immature brat
“Why are you doing this to me?” “Because we owe it to you, Bren.” That always felt like it came out wrong. Like they owe Brenda the hurt that they’re causing her. I know that that isn’t what Dylan meant. They didn’t get together as a way to hurt Brenda on purpose. They just didn’t care about her feelings.
Brandon should have done something to defend Brenda, considering he was her twin. They all should have. But it really seemed like none of them cared. Brenda got majorly screwed over 🤬

Well Brandon cheated on her with Emma so now she felt betrayed 😭😭😭
Kelly broke girl code big time. Even if she and Dylan had split it still wouldve been betrayal of the ultimate level. No genuine girlfriend would date a friends ex ever. So wrong and not a real friend.
She wanted Dylan for so long and took the first chance she got. No amount of friendship would had kept her away.

That was before
There's like a correlation between the style/look and the integrity of the characters in this scene lol.
If I were Brenda I'd closed the door on their faces. It was so cruel from both of them to do this to her.

Bottomline is: Brenda didn’t deserve this. She was always there for both of them, through thick and thin. Dylan and Kelly deserve each other.💩💩🤮
I was "ok" with Dylan doing this but I was never ok with Kelly!!
Exactly! Dylan should have told her in private. Kelly being there was like pouring salt in the wound, but make no bones about it, Dylan is a POS, too!

Dylan was not worth it at all. Kelly was no friend. With friends like them who needs enemies.Brenda deserved better.
Kelly was frenemies with Brenda from day 1, and I think was always jealous of her
i found the whole Kelly/Donna friendship more genuine from day dot and they truly cared.it was towards the very end of the first generations one they dreamed of the day they would not only be besties but sisters.Through Donna marrying David that really happened. It reminded me a lot of Neighbours in regards to Piper and Xanthe being good true mates and thinking to myself what if under different circumstances the TV mom and dad had got married or well before that the original full house what if Gia's Mom and Stephanie's Dad they had got together and the two girl besties also became sisters.

it backfired in the ratings though---since Dylan quickly realized he did not like being with Kelly.
Kelly wanted Brenda’s perfect life so this was her way of at least getting the guy since she couldn’t have the Walsh’s as parents since her home life was so f-ed up. it's not that the gang didn't support Brenda.
Thank you !!!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉
I don't agree with any of this, they did not support Brenda

@@rickyspanish2337 Donna said that because he was Kelly's Dylan! Kelly was the one he had dated most recently and he hadn't been with Brenda for a while at the time.

Not for nothin, Shannen killed this scene. She is an amazing actress🤍✨
Really?
Now they're both together up there 😌
And this whole mess proved that Jim was right about Dylan from the get-go.
Jim was the cause of leading to the break up. Mexico was the final straw for Jim
@@lexkanyima2195 she snuck off to a foreign country. You can’t blame him for being mad. He knew she was way too young to devote her life to one man at that point in her life. he knew Dylan’s reputation and that he could possibly cheat on Brenda with another girl

Glad that Dylan got his when Brandon got with Kelly. Karma comes back to bite everyone. True friends don't do this to each other.

@@Selenite11 Dylan and Kelly had great chemistry even in a friendly way...Season 9 and 10 proved it ! Dylan consoled Kelly when she had troubles with her father in season 3...it's weird because I found that Kelly didn't have chemistry even in a friendly way with Brandon!
In fact, I never liked the Walshs for Kelly and Dylan.
It looks like the writers wanted to humiliate Brenda. What a horrible script they made! Then, they tried to improve Kelly's character but most of the fans never liked her. Most of the fans sided with Brenda and kept loving Shannon Dorothy even when she left the show.
Ouch
To be fair it was always Dylan and Kelly who were humiliated while Brenda got caught up in their ways.
He Brenda it's not the end of the world, Dylan is not the only boy on the planet! And Kelly wasn't your friend, you should have known better.
And then none of their friends or even her own brother seemed to care. They just wanted to relieve their own guilt
Could you tell me what episode is this ? Season 4?
Season 3, Episode 19, "Back In The High Life Again".
@@MaozMusic2025 It was horrible. The writers (apparently new) broke Dylan's not kiss and tell code he had in earlier seasons. He talks about having been with Kelly.
@@robinorlowski2449 The writers weren't new.. it was the original team... The writing was good, it's just hard for Brenda fans to see her this heartbroken, myself included.
@@robinorlowski2449 they weren't new. I her real life problems bled into on screen which is why Brenda got so much shit and had a downward spiral of feeling like an outcast until she left the show.
@@MaozMusic2025The writing was not good. Till this day the writers regret this storyline. They lost so many viewers. Charles Rosin talks about it on the 90210 podcast.
You cut off the last 10 seconds when she walks away and dylan and kelly are still talking. 👎
Yeah, ruined the whole scene.
@@Selenite11 yea the ending shot is great. And the way Kelly and dylan talk. I hate when they do this
It’s ok cbs still has the same quality version up on you tube. I believe they titled it
Devastated.
They always do it... they don't let scenes finish properly, especially the musical scores of the scenes which are so important. They just startle you with the main theme song and cut you off just before the scenes reach their emotional (and musical score) climax. It's really disappointing.
Classic scene, always will be. 2024….. still makes me so mad at Dylan and Kelly! Ha. SD was the coolest. RIP 💜
“I hate you bother, never talk to me again”
I wish Brenda stuck to her word.
Why Dylan was yelling at Brenda is wild! We now recognize that as toxic masculinity!
If I can take a quote from Madame Giry in "The Phantom Of The Opera" to describe this dreadful moment of the series:
"Heaven help you, those who doubt.
This miscasting will invite damnation."
Shannen was a powerhouse in this scene!
She was literally telling brandon she loved him & when some new friend of his died he said something like " what if inwas in that car " & kelly immediately said " oh god dont even say that. " she also spiraled when she tirned down brandons proposal when everome told her she was nuts not to say yes. Then she spiraled the next year doing coke bombing college brandon saved her & while he was dating another girl she told him sue never has been happy w/o him she still was in love with him & brandon not knowing what to say held her hand & rubbed her head. Afyer that kelly even the next year actually started losing it buying back brandons ring refusimg to go out anymore when everyone again was telling her to move on. I mean they were like a week from graduating they had house to live in plus they were very much in love through so much. I hated the show had kelly miscarry. I think it would have been a really intetesting story way better that the garbage written for them in season 8. Brandon so out of character sleeping w/ another woman then literally stalking & begging kelly to get back together w/ him. Im alao thrilled off camera they learned from that guy jonsey dylan was living w/ brenda in london. Those were the perfect couples. Jennie garth & jason both said for years brandon & kelly were the perfect couple. Jennie said in several interviews kelly in her mind shoupd hsve been w/ brandon not kelly.
I hated this too. But once Dylan did this I didn’t want Brenda back with him. I was very annoyed that she didn’t get another great love interest of her own.
Poor Brenda she thought that she had a boyfriend and she thought that she had a best friend but all that time Kelly had a crush on Dylan and Dylan was sleeping around with Kelly and the both of them was playing and being fake with Brenda The whole time see Kelly really don't like Brenda she Pertains to like her and to be best friends with her Brenda acts Kelly and Dylan have they been slept together and Kelly 1,000,000% lies and says no but Kelly and Dylan was sleeping and having s*****x together in the bed on the 1990 season Kelly blocks the set from the big female that was approaching to set next to Kelly but Kelly says this set is taken and tell she saw Brenda standing by the door way along by her self and Kelly knew from the start that she could get Brenda because she saw how lovely and kind and sweet and soft she was so Kelly says hey come on over so Brenda came over and set at the spot that the big female was going to set and Kelly says to Brenda are you smart and Brenda says yeah and Kelly she knew that she got Brenda into the dark hole and Kelly when she Abduce Brenda to Dylan and now remember what Dylan says he says I Prefer blonde's so Dylan look at Brenda like he was in love with her and likeded her and Brenda she felt for it into the dark hole Kelly was using Brenda the whole time she was supposed to be Brenda's best friend but she really wasn't Kelly strongly hated Brenda poor Brenda 😥
Well said.
Bravo! (Sarcasm)
True Brenda had Rick fling. But if they truly loved each other they have stayed loyal during the break. Jim wanted them to break up
He really want
lmao! how humilating to get dumped in front of children at a park.
Dylan and Kelly should be humiliated for the shame they should feel, not Brenda
That’s why Dylan reverted back to alcohol and then drugs and Kelly became a drug addict 😂😂😂. Such horrible people !
Brenda has the most beautiful lips ❤
I remember this part. I hated this part I hated Kelly Dylan that time... 😂
Sexual attraction is stronger than anything else...
This ruined the show, they should have at least had Dylan and Brenda find their way back to each other.
Jetzt gehen die kommentare gegen Dylan und Kelly❤...warum wird ausgeblendet das die sich lieben....und sich fūr sich entschieden haben❤...
Why did none of the core friends group support Brenda after this? I don’t get it. Even Brandon gave zero support to his twin.
....a rundown.... (cont.)
DONNA - ...tried, warned Kelly, knew to stay neutral, didn't know Kelly continued w/ Dylan..
ANDREA - ...never 'close' w/ Brenda, still healing from the Leg injuries ...
STEVE - ...NEVER close w/ Brenda, just got back into School (after the expelling)...
BRANDON - ...knew to stay out of his Sister's business, & Dylan DID warn him...(0:56)....
DAVID - ...dealing w/ Dad's divorce (from Kelly's Mom), Donna, & newborn Baby Sister...
@@RBS_ Brandon doesn't even say anything to Dylan to show he is upset how his sister is being/will be treated WTF??
@@prasad9002Exactly. Brenda was mean.
Brenda was beautiful
Brenda’s hair got better the second season. Love this look. Dylan and Kelly were 🗑️ for this.
It's so different watching this as an adult and not a teen lol Dylan was such trash! Kelly as well, they both deserved each other.
I agree even Kelly's onscreen TV brother picked up on everything and the brutality.
Unspoken rule; NEVER EVER DATE YOUR FRIENDS EX!!
Why is it such a HUGE deal if they didnt even sleep together? 😅
they literally slept together in that sense they slept near each other at the beach
I always felt Valerie came to Beverly Hills with a mission: payback for what Kelly did to Brenda.
Payback of what ? Don't forget that she was not tearing the Walsh's apart
Classics
I just wish the screen writers didn't make Brenda mope over Dylan after. She was too gorgeous, confident and good to beat herself up abt Dylan and Kelly.
Wish she had just dated and forgot Dylan ever existed. Dylan was gross, couldn't wait to break up with Brenda just to get with Kelly.
Dylan decide he needed new flavor
It pisses me off that Brandon never did anything to stand up for his sister when this happened.
Totally! And he was even marrying her! And what about their parents?? My mom disliked every child who ever mistreated me in the littlest way!
Brenda wanted Dilan, but Dilan likes Kelly at first
Didn’t understand why Brandon stayed friends with Dylan after this, this was such a shitty thing to do to your friend, everyone said how much Dylan loved Brenda, imm sorry Dylan only ever cared about himself
Brandon and Dylan were best friends and Brenda repeatedly told him to mind his own business. Brenda also cheated on Dylan with Rick and was the one who broke up with him. Dylan, thankfully moved on with his life and she was just being an immature brat
Sí se pasaron con la Brenda
Why is Brenda already angry and yelling right before they tell her they fell for each other while they're walking ?
They had already told her, the scene starts in the middle of their conversation.
“Why are you doing this to me?”
“Because we owe it to you, Bren.”
That always felt like it came out wrong. Like they owe Brenda the hurt that they’re causing her. I know that that isn’t what Dylan meant. They didn’t get together as a way to hurt Brenda on purpose. They just didn’t care about her feelings.
Owe of what ? Jim was the cause
I hated watching it after this 😅
Brandon should have done something to defend Brenda, considering he was her twin. They all should have. But it really seemed like none of them cared. Brenda got majorly screwed over 🤬
Auch brandon war mehr als einmal von brenda genervt...die welt dreht sich nicht nur um brenda...
They did Brenda wrong

Any way Brendon didnt do justice for Brenda so he is a totally looser 😅 Brendon use too S1 but not any more S3 he became a jerk.
If i am Brendon i will box Dylan off 😅
This part i was so sad for Brenda.
I hate this Season 😮
I loved watching this show when young. Now as an adult, I just say this is beyond ridiculous! They were supposed to be 16-17 year old kids, they were already sleeping around, having affairs and behaving like professionals in the city… 🤣🤣
It was super ridiculous to watch.what happened here would have in real life made it onto a MARRIED AT FIRST SIGHT or well before those even existed Jerry Springer.
Hated Kelly and Dylan. HATE!
Brandon and Dylan wanted each other.
Betrayal Foreal
Now Brenda can date Steve Sanders.
