@vdgvdg61 actually I take it back. I didn't watch the show frequently back in day as someone their age, especially in the early 2000s. I've watched more episodes to get better idea of his personality and he was a big baby, and definitely a jerk. He would pout a lot more than I realized nick Lachey would, looked at other women then would make her feel like her insecurities were unwarranted, et .. all in all toxic relationship for sure. However part of that was our youth and not knowing how to behave in relationships. I see a different person with his relationship with his current wife. Even in interviews he supports her more, is more sensitive and behaves differently. I think in certain cases people in relationships just are toxic but fit better with different personality types and people. I know that because I've experienced it as well.

I was just at a bakery in town and they had minced meat pies. I've never had minced meat pie but I remembered this episode and asked the baker if it had actual meat in it... she said yes it does but you barely taste it. Needless to say, I did not come home with one lol.

I loved this show!
She works really hard so when she’s off she’s really tired. I get it. But she can at least put some effort into gifts for Nick lol
I feel like they were just so different. She's very flighty and at that time needed a lot of babying from her partner. He got sick of her being so dizzy and needed someone more his speed and personality, someone a lot more independent. I think that's where his frustration and mean comments came from, he became resentful.
@vdgvdg61 actually I take it back. I didn't watch the show frequently back in day as someone their age, especially in the early 2000s. I've watched more episodes to get better idea of his personality and he was a big baby, and definitely a jerk. He would pout a lot more than I realized nick Lachey would, looked at other women then would make her feel like her insecurities were unwarranted, et .. all in all toxic relationship for sure. However part of that was our youth and not knowing how to behave in relationships. I see a different person with his relationship with his current wife. Even in interviews he supports her more, is more sensitive and behaves differently. I think in certain cases people in relationships just are toxic but fit better with different personality types and people. I know that because I've experienced it as well.
So, Jessica said she didn’t like the song and Nick was being a ass to her and he’s always a asshole to her from day one

This episode makes Jess look like a spoiled wet blanket. I love her but I wish she was happier back then or I wish we got to see a happier Jessica. But I loved them together lol they’re kinda toxic but it also kinda worked. I loved this show so much lol

I was just at a bakery in town and they had minced meat pies. I've never had minced meat pie but I remembered this episode and asked the baker if it had actual meat in it... she said yes it does but you barely taste it. Needless to say, I did not come home with one lol.
Weird to me. The minced”meat” pies I had growing up only had a bunch of nuts and dried fruits in it.

Mince pies the sweet ones DO NOT have any real meat in them. More like sultanas, apricots, raisins, sugar, cinnamon ect in sweet shortcrust pastry!!!
At my local bakery, the baker told me there's real meat in the minced meat pie, but its small amounts. She said you barely taste it because of the raisins, spices, etc. I wasn't willing to find out how it actually tasted lol
