Then, continiously flirted with him (like putting her arms around him saying the Casablanca lines) until she got to the beach cabin with him... And she dares to say she kept him away all summer!! I never liked that Kelly called Rick boring. He was lol but she would have no way of knowing that from her one interaction. If anything he came off as a very nice guy.
The problem with the whole Kelly and Dylan was Kelly was supposed to be Brenda’s best friend. Girl code. You don’t date your best friends ex boyfriend no matter what. Period. And Dylan was straight up nasty. So in the end they both were nasty and deserved each other
I never had to worry about things like this. Jeepers, I never even had a date in high school in the 70s! And I was a cute girl, too! Dylan got his karma with Kelly and Brandon. There's a common factor here, and that's Kelly. She doesn't seem to care about friendships, just as long as she gets what she wants.
Didn't dylan & kelly both hate their parents cheating & thought they were scum for cheating. Kelly then acting innocent that her & dylan didnt have affair & didnt break girl code. Dylan was brenda then ex first love & the person she lost her virginity. You dont go after that. No matter what she says because a true friend knows. Your friend is not over him.

I thoroughly disliked her character after this (I couldn't put it into words when I was younger.) Two years before this, she tells Brenda that she went after him when the two of them started going out. She then flirts with him over the summer episodes and gets into a relationship with their Senior year behind Brenda (her BFF's) back. Not even a year after this she ends up kissing Brandon. She then flies out to Washington D.C. to have sex with Brandon. The following Sophomore year she is deciding between two best guy friends. And finally in their Junior year, she admits to herself when she was stranded in a monastery, that she did wrong thing with both Brenda, and Brandon. Kelly wasn't the misunderstood girl with the reputation, she was problematic. She was never redeemable after this whole thing.
Kelly literally was such a hypocrite, lol in one sentence she’s apologizing, saying she knew it was wrong and didn’t want to hurt her feelings, the next minute she says she didn’t think anything was wrong with it because Brenda broke up with him, lol.
The best clashes were the clashes between Brenda and Kelly, everything Kelly said to Brenda could have been true if she wouldn't have gone out with Dylan while Brenda was in Paris, Brenda thought it was their first date outside of It was Kelly and Dylan's thousandth date. And I don't agree with Kelly when she says that she wasn't a second choice, for me she was a second choice because she says it was Brenda's choice to leave Dylan, that's not the case. It wasn't Dylan's choice, Dylan could have very well left Brenda by saying that he was no longer in love with her, without involving Kelly, but it's Brenda who breaks up with him. As for Brenda, he should have known what she wanted
Kelly knows why she told Brenda she wasn't second choice! Brenda doesn't know that she had a relationship with Dylan over the summer! Brenda thought Dylan chose Kelly just like that but it's not true! and I would say that Brenda never really knew what happened between Kelly and Dylan before she know them.
@@melainesiar-titeca4602 kelly considers not to be a second choice, but the problem is Dylan's attitude, he could have left Brenda after her return, without telling her about Kelly, but that's not what he did , it was Brenda who wanted to break up with Dylan, and Dylan let Kelly believe that he too wanted to break up with Brenda, and at the restaurant he blames Brenda for breaking up with him in front of Kelly and since Kelly was the only one to show up at Dylan's party on the occasion of his father's release and she got along well with his father and with his father's girlfriend, so it was Kelly that he chose, on the other hand when Dylan lost his father chose to cry in Brenda's arms.
@@brunobruno8524 Worst of all, when Brenda came back from Paris and saw that Dylan had changed, it already meant that Dylan was no longer in a relationship with Brenda in her mind. 0:24 Kelly bringing up Brenda being tired of Dylan being brooding is funny bc Brenda said that AFTER Kelly had already snuck around w| Dylan. Kelly was just tryna latch onto any little thing to make what she did ok
I hated Kelly after this
Shannon was so beautiful. She didn't get any credit back then for her beauty. It was all about Jennie Garth and the blondes with tans.
She did get credit for her beauty. She got the ,,desirable and sexy,, young women role in a lot of tv movies back then.
KELLY > brenda
It is never okay to go for your best friends boyfriend, ex or not. Brenda and Dylan had a deep connection and love for each other and Kelly knew that. She saw that. It was just all kinds of wrong.
Even if in an alternate universe Brenda said it was OK, it still wouldn’t be OK. There are morals you don’t go against in friendship.
Yep. She took advantage of the rockiness that started in their relationship because of Jim's wedge he was trying to put between Dylan & Brenda. Kelly just waited for the opportunity and Paris was her opportunity. She knew Brenda wasn't over Dylan, even if she said it. Then again, maybe she wasn't a good enough friend to notice.
@@kayprivate2720Kelly played everything out like clockwork. She calculatedly seduced Dylan while Brenda was in Paris. After Brenda's arrival, she backed down, arousing Dylan's interest. Kelly acted according to the rules of seduction. Rewatch Kelly's summer episodes with Dylan.
“At least I wasn’t second choice” I gasped 🫢 Brenda got Kelly tho
The grand tour of Jim’s office- how riveting 😂
...thats, '...scintillating', thankyouveryMUCH! ...HA-HAAA!! (2:24)
Lmao
😂😂
They should’ve both dumped Dylan together. Their friendship never recovered.
Man I miss the 90s! #TeamBrenda
Always ❤
Always loved the sis/bro bond of kelly & david throughout the series,sweet..
2:33 And god damn it Brenda, how dare you drop Rick for stupid Dylan. Rick is way hotter and nicer than
This teenage love-triangle was such a thing back in the 90's haha, no internet, having to wait a whole week to find out what happened next, good times!
"Somehow I end up being the bitch." It was her best friend's ex, even though they were not together of course it was going to be awful for Brenda to see her best friend with her ex, she chose a man over their friendship and that's what hurts the most. Of all the guys she could have been with she chose her best friend's ex and she has the audacity to being confused of Brenda's reaction? What did she expected her to do? To say OMG Kelly I'm so happy to see you with my ex boyfriend lol she's the worst friend EVER. And Dylan is such an asshole, they're made for each other. He betrayed Brenda in the worst way possible and he has the nerve to act as if he was the victim? The one being bothered?
Kelly went out with Steve, Dylan and Brandon almost all except David
I always felt that Kelly belongs with Steve
Yeah because Steve was unapologetic in him sleeping with women I appreciate his honesty though but when he did finally settle down it was well written..
Yep...ran through the whole crew
Kelly should marry Jake
What Kelly is 1st place in is in Backstabbers Hypocrites... The minute Brenda jumped into the van, she told Dylan-I-cannot-be-alone that she could date him. Then, continiously flirted with him (like putting her arms around him saying the Casablanca lines) until she got to the beach cabin with him... And she dares to say she kept him away all summer!! The man got obsessed to s*x her after all that! Not saying that he is innocent or worthy at all!
1:00 Wow. Kelly’s “soul searching.” And “somehow I end up being the b****.” Pass me the bucket. What a piece of work.
But I was a nice girl and not a cheerleader, never got invited to the boy/girl parties or anything, and it was a large student population so dating just never happened.
Why would you think it’s okay to date your bffs ex?
Because, they’re an ex for a reason…? Obviously, they weren’t compatible, but that doesn’t mean the ex won’t be a good match with the friend…
Dylan looks like he's at least a few years out of college not H.S.! lol RIP :(
Kelly broke unspoken friendship code, IMO
...Brenda's getting a VERY harsh reality, that she's dating (someone like) her DAD (2:48).... choose WISELY, Girls..... (2:24)
You dont date your friends ex
You should have told Brandon that too when he dated Dylan's ex-girlfriend Kelly.
@@melainesiar-titeca4602 who's Steve's ex-girlfriend too
David was hyped up for a Ronald Macdonald roll!! Holy mustard and ketchup explosion 🤯
Rick’s a heartthrob!
He sure is! That’s Dean Cain - Superman
Kelly = hypocrite
Brenda is the hypocrite
KELLY >bremda all day
kelly thinks rick is boring, coz he has a real intelligence, dylan is a drunk, enough said lol
0:58 I forgot that Kelly lived in a nuclear power plant
Her house was so ugly
Sorry to break it out to you Kelly but you WERE second choice. Brenda trusted her when she told her about Rick, and Kelly took it as "Oh! I can go out with her boyfriend" . Let's not forget Kelly also seems to have amnesia because she keeps forgetting to tell Brenda she was Dillan's side chick in Summer 🙄

Dylan walking away as if it is none of his business? Coward.
It started with that fuckin dress in season 1, “you can have it, oh no you take it” they both show up with it. lol
Dylan got his karma with Kelly and Brandon. There's a common factor here, and that's Kelly. She doesn't seem to care about friendships, just as long as she gets what she wants.
There are too many men/women out there to date your friends ex. No matter what they say they will care. It’s just not worth it people!
"Soul searching?" Is that what they're calling Buzzy-Buzz Party Time here?
giggity giggity
it's codespeak for two weeks in Tijuana party
Dylan was not worth it
Brendas hair looks great in this scene.
Dylan is no prize. Both Kelly and Brenda could do better..he was a loser.
Dylan really was a loser, but your heart wants what it wants.
I get his good looking like but the guy was a dick. is worth losing friend for a guy who seems not respect either of you.
Why aren't there yet a remastered Blu-ray for the series?
Now that I’m a mom, I’m wondering why they are sitting around on a school night talking about love drama instead of doing their homework. 😂
RIP Shannen Doherty 💔🙏🏾🪦🥀🕊️
Didn't dylan & kelly both hate their parents cheating & thought they were scum for cheating.
Kelly then acting innocent that her & dylan didnt have affair & didnt break girl code.
Dylan was brenda then ex first love & the person she lost her virginity. You dont go after that. No matter what she says because a true friend knows. Your friend is not over him.
OMG Kelly with her fucking baby voice, she drove me crazy‼I was a Brenda fan all the way & Shannen is hell of an actress‼Kelly has always been jealous of Brenda/Dylan's relationship b/c he NEVER gave her the time of day‼I NEVER believed for one second Dylan would've chose Kelly over Brenda, such tosh‼Kelly was NEVER a true friend to Brenda‼
Brenda had already dumped Dylan, and moved on… There was no “cheating”… 🤣
Both look like they are seniors in college lol😂
beautiful eyes brenda
Kelly was trifling, that’s still your friends ex boyfriend.. Dylan sucked for this..
After soul-searching? Lol why didn’t she ask Brenda what she thought about her and Dylan dating? Kelly sure could be selfish
I can't imagine fighting over a guy, and I REALLY can't imagine fighting over a scrawny moody drama queen like Dylan.
I actually prefer Dylan with Toni rather than Brenda or Kelly.
Watching this as an adult, Dylan is exhausting 😣
He pulled their strings but you never date the ex of a friend.
RIP Brenda
Brenda was gorgeous back then.
Rick really was the best
He was obnoxious. He was annoying here getting all excited over Jim’s business.
Rick, the French writer was nice, but Rick the California business man was Jim part 2. Gross!
He was boring af and a square 😊
What's wrong with that?😂
Brenda wanted a bad boy. She sure got one.
@@prasad9002 everything is wrong with that! When a guy gets all excited over your dad’s job is ridiculous. Besides, no man was Dylan ❤️
Nobody:
Dylan: I’d rather be anywhere but here
Like if he wasn’t the cause of it all
...shouldn't this be called, "Betty & Veronica fight over Archie" !?? ...ha-HAA!! (1:58)
Archie’s dad, anyway! RIP Luke.
More like Brooke vs Peyton on OTH before Archie and Betty even happened and Brooke had a mean backhand 😂
kelly wanted dylan the moment he put moves on brenda
Kelly was in the wrong I was always on the side of Brenda because friends don't do that to friends
I agree
Kelly literally was such a hypocrite, lol in one sentence she’s apologizing, saying she knew it was wrong and didn’t want to hurt her feelings, the next minute she says she didn’t think anything was wrong with it because Brenda broke up with him, lol.
Brenda was a babe. Biggest crush.
I loved how bitchy and mean Brenda and Kelly were.
Kelly fue muy basura con meterse con el novio de su amiga, Dylan también fue basura al meterse con la amiga de su exnovia 😠😡🤬
Dylan is so annoying and overrated.
Looking at at these old clips make s me wonder why either girls wanted Dylan because he was annoying.
Calling me a Bitch.. but you are !! Second choice 😅
Rip LP and SD ❤2024
Rick 😂 future Superman ❤
@@brunobruno8524
Worst of all, when Brenda came back from Paris and saw that Dylan had changed, it already meant that Dylan was no longer in a relationship with Brenda in her mind.
He didn't want to leave Brenda because he didn't want to be a bastard...
And don't forget that it was Kelly who stopped him by telling him to live his life...
Dylan was afraid of leaving Brenda but he was attracted to Kelly, he had a desire to fulfill...in the end he's just a guy...
With Brenda, he had a best friend… but with Kelly, he had the best lover (he said so himself). He wanted both.
@@brunobruno8524 I want to say it's Dylan...with all the complex side of his character...I never liked this Dylan who doesn't know what he wants...it reminds me of when he said in the season 5 to Kelly that for the first time he knew what he wanted: her!
I want to say: boy! you have to know what you want! He could be toxic with Brenda and Kelly at the same time! He never liked that they had a life without him….
Honestly, I don't blame Brenda for removing Dylan's pictures after their breakup, it seems perfectly normal to me...
@@melainesiar-titeca4602
the couple brenda and stuart showed that sexuality was now part of their life as a couple, unlike their relationship with dylan, if in season 4 brenda went to see dylan behind Kelly's back knowing that she could sleep with him from from the moment they officially got together, Dylan would have felt the same attraction to Brenda that he had felt to Kelly in season 3
That was the right question from David. Kelly never knew how Dylan really felt about her.
Kelly “Sloppy Seconds” Taylor.
receding hairline Dylan and Steve are like what...33?

Shannon was so beautiful in this episode.
Telling Kelly that she was a second choice, is a low blow😢; I would never said that to Kelly.
