Rick was great but he was a little too mature for his own good to date a high school girl. He wasn't in the same high school world as them and his maturity and similarities to Jim Walsh ended up getting him in the friend zone. He was also a little bit too romantic and committed immediately to Brenda. Talking about marriage and fate and kismet and all that when they had barely gone on a date. It killed the mystery and challenge and made him seem like a bore. Even if he was very handsome and intelligent.
@@STONESGAMWhat’s wrong with talking about marriage and all that? Nothing. Rick’s getting it all out on the table, before anything goes anywhere. I like that. When it comes to dating and marriage, I don’t like mystery very much. It means someone is hiding something and only out for themselves. The mystery means the one who chooses to be mysterious has no interest in being honest at all. If they’re honest, they know they’ll lose the person they’re trying to get somewhere with. In season 1 During the girls' night at Brenda's house, Kelly admitted to Brenda that she had tried to get closer to Dylan, and at that time Brenda did not ask Kelly why she had gotten closer to Dylan like she knew Kelly was in love with Dylan. When Brenda and Donna were in the car Brenda looked at Dylan and Kelly like that she said they were going to get closer, in Beverly Hills New Generation Brenda told Kelly that she can never be happy because she still loves Dylan , I think that Brenda always knew deep down that Kelly was in love with Dyan, but she didn't think that Dylan could have chosen Kelly.
I think I can speak on Brenda's behalf when I say that there exists a line from which we should never cross known as the point of no return. And Kelly, having such unapologetic audacity to tell Brenda to "Go to Hell!!!" -quote on quote, had gone dangerously too far past that said point.

Oh my God ! I was so stupid then ! Why didn't we request the production to make Brenda stay with Rick ? Dylan looks ridiculous in comparison to Rick 😮 Rick is a man not a stupid spoiled rude orphan like Dylan 🙄
Dylan non è stato cresciuto da nessuno. Come kelly. I gemelli walsh avevano i genitori cone guida. Dylan e Kelly si sono dovuti arrangiare da soli. Qiesto ve lo scordate sempre
*Lesson: NEVER have Kelly as a friend or girlfriend, or you will risk her betraying you horribly and gaslighting you, i.e. BLAMING you for it.* E.g., she stole Brenda's boyfriend Dylan, went steady with and then cheated on Dylan with Brenda's brother Brandon. In both cases she blamed the person she hurt, and made it out like it was their fault, when they retaliated. On that note how gross is it for Brandon to date Kelly, the girl who stole his sister Brenda's boyfriend? I will not go into any more commentary-- use your imagination-- how gross that sounds. One more thing, notice how Brenda eventually 'forgave them' and came back around to the group? She had no choice, as, if she had continued complaining, glaring and showing the stink-eye when Kelly and Dylan are fooling around, the 'cool friends' like Donna and Steve would have distanced themselves, as Brenda would have been deemed as whiny and 'not fun anymore'-- even her brother Brandon would (shameful since he is her brother after all). In teen years and even early adulthood, 'friends' tend to be selfish and gravitate towards the 'winners' in such situations, as it is not their sanity, hurt or pain that is at stake; all they care about is 'being cool' and having 'fun.' Here, Kelly and Dylan are the 'winners and Brenda is the 'loser.' The loser has to swallow his/her pride and get along with the 'winners' if they want to keep their 'friends.' Sad! That said, once we reach late adulthood, we have no qualms blasting the betrayers and those 'fake' friends who support them and willingly distancing ourselves from the entire toxic mess. *As adults, we realize that having genuine friends and peace of mind is more important than having so called 'good-time Charlie friends' to hang out and being 'cool.'* Any thoughts or comments?
Kelly broke girl code big time and betrayed her best friend. She broke Brenda 's trust. You don't fu.k through the family, close friends or extend an invitation to a best friend's ex to go there. With friends like this who needs enemies?
@the1nonlytony124 I guess for some people, it's ok to have backstabbing best friends. Betrayal is always serious, high school or otherwise. Both parties were old enough to know it wasn't too cool to cross the line. If they didn't, they wouldn't have hidden it in the first place.
The reason Kelly and Dylan’s relationship never ended up working was because of how it started. The way at which a relationship starts is indicative of how it will be.

The “Best Friend Code” is the unwritten rule that governs bestie-ships. Rule #1 is you NEVER date the love of your best friend’s life, no matter how they broke up, why they broke up, up how long ago they broke up. There’s always that ONE person your bestie will never forget and will always hold a candle for, and if you even remotely think of dating that person, you lose bestie status forever. The ONLY possible exception to this is if you dated the love of their life first, but if they’re clearly NOT the love of YOUR life, you should still stay away after that period. I have one great love of my life and we lost 20 years of time together because he made huge mistakes when we were teenagers and I broke up with him. One of those mistakes was with my then-bestie. She and I didn’t talk for 20 years, either. And when we did, one of the first things she did was comment on a Facebook picture I posted of him to say, “Oh, I remember him.” I said, “I’m sure you do.” And I unfriended her and never talked to her again. Once a duck, always a duck.

Uhhhh no, Kelly was pure in her intentions. You're just jealous because Kelly got Dylan and you didn't.
@@chamboyette853 When you lie and betray someone, it means you never had good intentions towards them.
@@brunobruno8524 Uhhh, but she looks like a princess from the 15th century, and noble women back then had pure intentions. Why don't you learnt your history instead of making ignorant comments on this distinguished thread.
@@chamboyette853 Frankly when you have a friend like Kelly you no longer need enemies, whether you like Brenda or not or whether Dylan and Kelly are true soul sisters, no one would have wanted to have a friend like Kelly, frankly be honest though, Kelly really betrayed Brenda could you trust a girl like Kelly in real life?
@@brunobruno8524 some say that Kelly and Dylan were TwinFlames 😅
«Since about 6:30 » Dylan’s line 😂😂😂Brenda deprived Dylan of a night of sex with Kelly …sorry Dylan 😂
Rick was a step up. Poor guy. Lol
Oh my God ! I was so stupid then ! Why didn't we request the production to make Brenda stay with Rick ? Dylan looks ridiculous in comparison to Rick 😮 Rick is a man not a stupid spoiled rude orphan like Dylan 🙄
The difference between a high school girl and a college man.
Dylan non è stato cresciuto da nessuno. Come kelly. I gemelli walsh avevano i genitori cone guida. Dylan e Kelly si sono dovuti arrangiare da soli. Qiesto ve lo scordate sempre
I wish i knew Brenda’s lipstick shade! Its such a great look.
They were so wrong!!!!! Dang poor Brenda.
This guy is like come on Brenda move on. I need to get a contract extension on this gig!
Kelly broke girl code big time and betrayed her best friend. She broke Brenda 's trust. You don't fu.k through the family, close friends or extend an invitation to a best friend's ex to go there. With friends like this who needs enemies?
It's high school. It's not that serious.
@the1nonlytony124 I guess for some people, it's ok to have backstabbing best friends. Betrayal is always serious, high school or otherwise. Both parties were old enough to know it wasn't too cool to cross the line. If they didn't, they wouldn't have hidden it in the first place.
@@teehalewis5114 what's wrong in dating best friends ex, especially if they have no problem with it.
The reason Kelly and Dylan’s relationship never ended up working was because of how it started. The way at which a relationship starts is indicative of how it will be.
Really that’s why they ended up together in the series finale
@@bridgetporter6226 Yup, because after that when the story continued on the spin-off 90210, they were no longer together.

Kelly was such a POS!! I remember seeing this episode and thinking,”What is Superman doing in Beverly Hills?” Because Dean Cain was on the show! 😂😂
Kelly was toxic to all she came in contact with. No one benefited from a friendship with her.
Brenda is dating superman and still having complaints.
Brenda was so pretty
Kelly is prettier ❤
@@dipsetforever4611lies Brenda was gorgeous 🖤🖤🖤
What a dumb scene. Why would Dean Cain’s character interject and try to orchestrate a sit down and get everyone to talk it out? He didn’t know these people. So awkward.
I had Dean Cain posters in my bedroom wall as a teen-ager more than I did 90210 stars😂😂❤❤. I loved Superman.
Rick was too much of a simp to realize that Brenda had serious baggage. He should have bailed after that scene she caused at the restaurant.
He should have bailed as soon as she confessed that she was faking being French at the Peach Pit! Big simp energy. 🤣
There was no chemistry between he and Brenda, anyway.
SHE caused a scene?! Oh right poor little Kelly got her feelings hurt🙄
more chemistry between them than with dylan to be honest@@lnicole2504
Dylan is so annoying. He is an entitled brat, never had to work for anything. He thinks he is ultra smooth while constantly acts borderline annoyed with the rest of the world.
He a bad boy after all.
Dylan was always looking for a good time. Just like his old man, Jack
Does Dean Cain always play sickeningly sweet characters? His character is practically the same as Superman! Lol
I used to love this show. But was so turned off when Kelly and Dylan betrayed Brenda. Kelly was very classless for this.
lmao! Rick doesn't know when to shut up does he?
He’s ridiculous 😂
Really. I thought he was the most mature one out of all of them.
Brenda’s so dramatic I love it.
They don t pay for the dinner ? Just kiss and leave 😂?
I know that dean Cain used to be starred in Superman but I have never known that he was in Beverly Hills 90210
I watched a clip that showed when they all first met Dylan said he preferred blondes and then his attention shifted to Brenda. So I guess he always wanted Kelly from jump. And she wanted him. Kelly showed interest first and then got mad when Brenda grabbed his attention too.
Not that I think Brenda is a bad person, but Rick is too good for her at this time of her life.
RIP Shannen and Luke😥
Dylan could have flat out been a 40 year old creepo pretending to be a high school student just to get with 16 year old chicks. Look at him, he looks at least 27

There is no way he could have chosen Brenda. It was like Brenda was on his face forcefully.
@@prasad9002 Yes you are right Dylan wanted to be with Kelly and not with Brenda, because at that moment Kelly was closer to him than Brenda was, Dylan had changed he had other desires and other needs, and Kelly was more as attentive to Dylan as Brenda was at that moment. The discussions Dylan and Kelly had were deeper than the discussions Brenda and Rick had, and they did not know each other since childhood like Kelly and Dylan but unlike Kelly, Brenda comforted Dylan after the death of Dylan's father. Dylan unlike Kelly, Dylan will feel the need to be in Brenda's arms at that moment. And the team of idiots, with Dylan who turns into a big manipulator and Donald Taylor the duck who doesn't understand her friend's legitimate anger.

This so was so popular back in 1990 and now its laughable now. What a great comedy.
True, but it was pretty laughable even back then. It was basically 'the original' teen comedy meets teen soap-opera. Watching it again, I forgot just HOW fluffy it was though!
The way they are perfectly & heavily made up at all hours of the day & NIGHT....& wear fancier clothes than a fashion model.
But it was fun for the 1990s.....helped make that decade more bearable! :)
Kelly or Brenda. Had whole school talking. I was the only one who said Kelly.
"I feel so betrayed" she says to the guy she was running around France with while Dylan was in Cali.
Oh C'mon. Keep that grudge from teenage years.
