They made Kelly and Valerie storylines a bit like Brenda too.
Thank you for this. They were endgame and the scene at the Griffith Observatory made me want to visit LA. The scene at the Play Area (presumably of the kindergarten) is the most romantic scene ever bar Pacey and Joey in Dawson’s Creek first time. Both Luke Perry and Jennie Garth were really good in the scenes together.

Nothing against the one or the other but I see Kelly as second choice because the actress playing Brenda had gone for some reason.
As long as kelly got what she wanted she didnt care who she hurt in the orocess. She kept saying hiw she had such a big crush on Dylan her whole life.

Brenda was beautiful, Kelly was cute. Kelly did get prettier as she aged, but in the beginning, she looked like she had a pig snout. I know, that's awful to say, but it's the best way I can describe it. Brenda had the most beautiful cheek bones.

I loved them both
You see the chemistry between Luke and Jennie. They were good friends. For this reason Dylan and Kelly were only good friends. In the last seasons Dylan was finally a friend for Kelly but for a loving couple they weren’t convinced. And the fact Kelly ends only with Dylan because Brenda, Valerie and Gina were away made the happyending more than unbelievable.

not my fav couple cos the way kelly took dylan away from brenda, she knew well brenda still had feelings for dylan. too intense. the couple had their issues but brenda would always go back to dylan. she knew how brenda felt and used dylans weakness to her advantage. this left her insecure the minute dylan and brenda got close. almost every episode had them fighting and finally breaking up for good

I didn’t exactly hate Kelly (and Jennie Garth seems like a sweetheart). She’s very pretty. But her baby voice and her cutesy-coy line deliveries were nails on a chalkboard for me. Sometimes I had to mute a scene and just read the captions. 😖
Personally they did brenda wrong but i I didn't mind them tg but Dylan was the problem imo he knew that kelly was jealous of brenda and her relationship with him yes i do think ex's can be friends but they weren't just that imo i just think by season 4 we all knew it was going down hill especially bc yall seen how they're relationship started but yeah anyways i did like kelly and Brandon more anyways ofc i liked brenda and dylan too
