As a British soldier i never served in Vietnam and was way too young anyway........( born in 1965 )...... but did serve in Bosnia and Kosovo in 1996 and 2000 ......we had a couple of our own CSE ( Combined Services Entertainment) shows and you have no idea how much the troops feel about you .....virtually no wars are " popular " and the poor American troops in Vietnam were spat on and called baby killers when they got home ...you and the show people and stars like you mean so much to us serving soldiers and veterans ......in a place where we see death , tragedy...... dark dark times... you bring us out of all that just for a couple of hours but those couple of hours we will always remember with a smile and with heart felt gratitude that at least someone was thinking of us and rooting for us ...❤❤❤❤❤

Somehow I can think of no greater gift to give but to share oneself with others such as you have with such a wonderful performance so that these brave, young servicemen doing their duty for their country could enjoy a very special moment from home. Bravo!

hi Michelle ! I'm one of the Vets, you met in Steve Grossman's Group at the Manhattan VA Hospital, during his Annual Christmas Parties. Of course, Steve has retired. And there's been NO Christmas Party, due to the Pandemic. But "We're" still here. "Don't be a Stranger" ;-)

I saw your act in Long Binh on Christmas Day 1970. I was 20 yrs old and with the 1st Cav in War Zone D. Just dumb luck that my platoon made it down there. Thanks for the memory.

They changed many lives. 24hrs after that show we were back in the jungle. I had Christmas care packages from home tied onto my rucksack because I didn't have time to open them.

Hello Ms. DellaFave, I didn't have the privilege of seeing you perform in Vietnam with Mr. Bob Hope, I was there earlier for the Vietnam Christmas Show of 1968. Regardless, I would like to extend to you a HEARTFELT AND SINCERE THANKS for giving up your holiday with your family to entertain the Troops in Vietnam. To have such talented, professional, classy and beautiful American women take the time to travel to our unpopular war meant so much to Vietnam Veterans. Thank you for NOT turning your back on us. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and your family, Ma'am.

Michelle I'm 39 and unfortunately wasn't there to see you live during the Dean Martin Show and Vietnam, but I've been following your career and I'm simply mindblown by your voice and all that you and The Dingalings have done. And especially that you are online!
Do you have any information on Tara Leigh and does she have any of her singing videos online on any social media platform? She's a photographer but it would be great to know more about her and you're the only connection these days. She had a unique soprano voice and there is very little information on her. I've always been curious what it was like to work with her as well. Thanks for all you've done!

I remember when I was a little girl and I would hear people say Caucasian people cannot dance they had no rhythm… that was so far from the truth because even though I was little I always admired their style of dancing … we had our style and they had theirs… but to all of the people who said I dance like a Caucasian girl…. THANK YOU… these girls were simply amazing and stunning 🥰❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️

Anyone can dance but being rhythmically challenged is what people refer to regarding Caucasians. Reality is, some Caucasians can dance and some African Americans can’t. Shout out to Rufus Thomas - the original 🙌
