I travel a lot with one piece rods in a coupe/hatch I put a bungee cord on the “oh shi” handles and put the tips of the rod thru it and across inbetween back and front seats. Rests in the trunk or back of hatch. Works great in civics and velosters.

Depends… I’ve had 30lb braid with fluorocarbon leader, 12-15 lb mono, or currently 17 lb fluorocarbon
