    I observe and so much comes to mind, there is a a huge amount of energy wasted in that furnace, same which could be used to make steam and run an electric generator and a broom could help too : ) ... they have a video for us to see ... huge potential indeed.

    The whole factory and machinery looks like it was bombed 70 years ago, sat there covered in ash, dirt and debris for 60 years, and someone uncovered it 10 years ago, shoveled out some debris and reopened factory. What a lovely place :D

    Definitely hands on production. Looks like the machines and processes used in the early 1900's lol. Very effective though. Flinging the glowing chunks of steel is definitely an art. Safety boots and gloves would be my first priority. Very devoted and experienced workers.

      В остальном мире, после горячей ковки заготовки обрабатывают на токарно-копировальном полуавтомате, далее накатывают на резьбонакатном станке резьбу на эти шпильки. Таким образом упрочняется поверхность посредством нагартовки наружного слоя металла, резьба становится более грузоподьемная. И закалку уж точно никто не проводит-потому что нужна твердая снаружи и пластичная внутри что бы выдерживать многократные знакопеременные динамические нагрузки.

      @@anderson4558 Даже болты 12 класса прочности? А чем же их на станке обрабатывают, это же неразумный расход инструмента?
      Я видел в печи накатанные болты. Так что ваша теория применима скорее всего для болтов ниже 10 класса.

      @@alexanderandreev7151 катают все. И разных твердостей и марок сталей и не только. Даже ходовые винты для гидродомкратов с трапецеидальной резьбой. Вы просто с производством и оборудованием не знакомы. Расход инструмента? Откуда он на резьбонакатном станке? Мы резьбонакатные ролики меняем раз в полгода, да и то по регламенту больше.

      I can see several ways to speed up the process and save man hours alone with greater amount of product in an hour, let alone days, weeks and years with additional product and less work. Safety has the lowest importance in this video sadly.

      very inneficient, such archaic operations tend to occur in some specific context, muslim parts of india, pakistan etc. This is a way to keep everyone busy, producing the necessary goods for daily life, no will to improve products quality, work condition, productivity...They just "are"

I admire these men who do such a repetitive, difficult job with the bare necessities in the shop but they make such an important item that is in demand.     Those rods are likely sucker rod from oil wells. This is TOP quality steel actually. All the rest is very dodgy though. In spite of that, the finished product seems safe enough. That shear in the beginning is home made. Good work.

      Brother-in-law learned machining in the Navy during Vietnam was stationed on the USS Ranger in San Diego. Worked as a Machinist Mate...class, don't remember...
      Got out of the Navy, stayed in SD and worked his way up to CNC Machinist, began his in business and was very successful. He's retired now but still has a full a shop set up in his garage. My sister needs to sell all the lathes, mills and so forth equipment... where to go and how to sell classic machines

      I'm also owner of bolt 🔩 making factory in India. I too think about hard physical work done by workers instead of machines,,,,, so old age techniques are being used. Y? They are backward? I can't understand. Thank God...... I have too much modern machinery at my factory.

      Без плашки. Метчики для отверстий. А вообще, у них рука набита и на подобных изделиях точности не нужно. Им главное чтобы гайка как-то наворачивалась.

    the climb cutting on the horizonal mill was hard to watch. I did see a ramp that the hot blanks slid down and were then ready for the next operation. that is a huge step forward for these guys. I always like seeing these great guys. I wish we could teach them not to keep parts on the floor. Guys have to bend up and down hundreds or even thousands of times daily to make parts.

    The workers are very much skilled and talented, But the place building itself and the equipment NEED to clean and workers lock of industrial safety Much more the surroundings NEED TO ARRANGE, SAFETY POSTER must be visible as well as CLEANLINESS is a MUST.

    It’s not easy manually cutting threads. Mad props! I’m a machinist that started from the bottom. Manual mills n lathes n was taught to manually cut threads before I got the chance to move up to cnc. To the ones that don’t know…. Majority of what we buy at these fastener places n the USA come from this region of the the world.

      @@HtownP Correct and no thread dial on the Apron that i could see, just engaging the lead screw by sheer luck . But after doing a few hundred I guess they know how it's done to save time and get'er done!. The horizontal mill looks to be late 19th century. A real machinist would get that belt driven feed working with new bearings in the arbor shaft housing to really speed it up.

      @@pavelpavel7938 На фоне того что их окружает - это реально конфетка. У них это наверное считается - качество. О соблюдении стандартных технологических процессов речи не идёт в принципе.
