From an engineering POV, this is terrifying to just put back together and throw it on the road again. But from someone who's had his own share of creative fixes just to get by sometimes, this is some great work.
I wondered if a proper mechanic shop is available to them with modern tools and machinery, I wonder what amazing feats these craftsmen would have achieved. Kudos to them!
There are many proper mechanic shops in that town. These people worked hard to get that truck rolling so it could be taken to a nearby shop for further repair and welding where cracks were visible.
well, let me tell, there would be AAAA LOOOOT more poverty, why? cuz with better tools, less hands would be needed, so would be the same job but less people.
They would destroy the proper tools. Not service the tools. Putting garbage everywhere and after a year it would be the same pile of crap as the rest of this sh**hole

You can see that the carriage bolts and other forged connections were literally pulled apart. That takes a tremendous amount of force. It looks like an equally grossly overloaded tire blew out, causing the truck to lean, which tweaked the frame and caused the cascading failures that made it tip over. That truck has no business carrying even a quarter the load of stone that it was carrying. Drivers over there grossly overload their trucks all the time to make fewer trips and more money, at the cost of safety and reliability.
@@GGigabiteM I’m a heavy duty truck mechanic I get it that it was way overloaded. However all the videos these channels make with shady repairs I can see how these trucks get so destroyed. For example they put the front axle together with it being cracked where the u-bolts bolt onto. Do you think that axle has the same gross vehicle weight rating it did from factory? I don’t think so…. So when they use this truck again it will surely fail again. Trust me I’ve been repairing trucks for the last 30 years here in Canada!
The kid put in serious work. At times his effort seemed to get a couple guys pissed lol, but idk why. A poor man's F1 pit crew, but just as effective. You can only use what's available to you after all

Amazing! I realize how fortunate I have been to have the tools to make such a job a lot easier but absolutely safer. I have only admiration for these mechanics. May GOD bless and keep them safe.
Well if they didn't put 30 ton on a very old 12 ton truck things like this wouldn't happen. It's amazing that a 12 year old kid seems to know more about fixing it than anyone else, and he puts out (works) harder!
Its an old Truck yes ..but he carries 20 ton with no problem . That 30 ton total weight is not the problem here..its more the fact that the trucks there are not maintained till something broke. And for sure the payload is a little bit maxed out :-) PS: yeah the kid seems to be the pro in that case of repairshop..but as you can see , the base of frontspring on the axle got a crack and nobody cares ...so its a question of time that truck cost some human lives later on.

These south Asian men are strong hard working and highly intelligent. They just don't get enough opertunities. My uncle who had machincal diploma was hired as driver to Pakistani ambassador to Holland. Once they had electric alternator failure to their marcedes Benz. He took it to the service center. Where he was told to wait few days so that can import the part. My uncle who was in hurry asked for screw driver and basic tool. Disassembled and fixed it right there. The machanics there were so impressed. They offered him a job. In no time he ended up chief machenic in marcedes Benz.
I've been fixing and repairing the same old Ford F150 for 20 years and I've replaced about every gas line, tank, brakes and body patches so much I could do it eyes closed but truck still going and my daily driver. Respect these guys keeping these old beasts going. 👍
Yeah. Around here it would be a ten week project and cost tens of thousands of dollars. In countries such as those, we can't even begin to imagine the lack of proper tools and money and resources they work with on a daily basis. And by looks, they did it all in only one day and night. Quite remarkable. But there ain't no way in he*l I would crawl under that truck like they did!

I'm thinking above all else you have to hand it to these guys .. money and specialist tooling is probably a commodity not enjoyed by many . So it's a case of repair as best as possible regardless how many times .the abundance of enthusiasm seems to outweigh a lot of safety skills and good working practices. Gifted to many in the modern world . Basically ya gotta do what ya can with what ya got ...

Pretty sure this truck was fixed by them earlier judging by the sloppy weld on the leaf springs - and that's why it broke again with a heavy load. Good business model, you keep repairing your own AMAZING work lol.

Amazing is the only words for them. Repairing the whole suspension of the truck by the road side without using a single power/pneumatic tools accept the bottle jack was great.

@ 5:25 and 5:30 2 out of 4 bolt holes are fractured, there is no way that should be used without welding, but given their circumstances it is commendable what they have accomplished, although we never do see the truck drive away. Quite the courageous young man there under the truck that is jacked up in the most precarious of ways. Not sure if it's courage, or just being 'not aware' . . . Great determination and effort for sure, good job!
yeah thats why when I work on my cars I clean as I go so I can see important damage. In the case of 40tonnes its even more important to notice the cracks!

WOW! father & son roadside truck repair! insanely entertaining! 4 jacks, a few wood blocks, 2 crescent wrenches and a half dozen socket wrenches! The kid does most of the work! He'll be a repair beast once he gains 50 pounds :)
It's a whole lot easier to "repair" things if you ignore worker safety, and the structural integrity of the vehicle, along with not fixing the actual damage. The truck is also obviously crude compared to modern trucks, it's more akin to fixing an oversized version of a simple trailer that you tow behind your car.

All done at the side of the road with basic tools, all torqued up to factory spec and ready to go. OK very dangerous but what a team, total respect,well done.
Hats off to the tired over worked miracle crew without whom this triple bypass open heart operation just wouldn't be possible. These incredibly brave hearted men who simply just wouldn't let this monstrous beast of a truck gasp its last breath of air and die. It took them almost 2 full days of work, had to pull a overnighter, probably slept like babies on the side of the road. But there tireless work ethic allowed them to pull off the impossible and get this humpty dumpty beast back together again probably for the 20th time, but who's counting. The crack in the axle needs to be extensively reworked at a lathe shop which will probably be done once the truck is in running condition. Although not at all reliable, these Pakistani trucks have proven themselves in their sheer toughness by tackling weight loads of 60 Tons. Truly an astonishing piece of machinery.
Please 🙏🥺🙏🥺 excuse me for saying this. I was scared for the guys working under this truck 🚛. And I respect the guys having to work like they do. And the Law's in the USA. Would take the truck out of service Because it would never past a DOT Inspection. The truck really needs to be Rebuilt and checked to insure the safety of the driver and the people around him. Я на межгороде 3ий десяток, никак немогу понять этих дерьмовозоперегрузов. Ну дали денег на 20т больше, пара колес на взрыв, на весах попал, ментам заплатил, расход топлива увеличен, а главное, мешает ехать всем, особенно в горах и весь негатив собирает. Результат не нулевой, а отрицательный. Бизнес по русски!
@@МаксимВиноградов-п6й Даги от нас таскают доски на сраных камазах по 60-70 кубов, 2000-2500км вот заставь их везти 12т, Данный говногрузовик был рассчитан на 3-3.5т они же возят в среднем по 15-20т на ось, итог на видео, у них я так думаю оплата с веса, а не с рейса, Кстати хомячки с Ростова зерно на камазах возят тоже по 50-60т))

It is possible that this is a temp repair. The truck then goes back to the workshop to replace or repair more parts. The most scary part is get under the truck knowing it may tumble down at any time

@@DrummerJacob a crane, moving bits of it with a HIAB truck, winch truck etc. There are many different and safe solutions, moving that thing on its own wheels in that state is very irresponsible. It's possible to move it on a wheelbarrow but it's not something that comes up to your mind first.

Compliments to these people for ingenuity, gritt and great work ethics. We also had people like that in Europe in the 60's -'70's. Now on wreck like that 5 cranes and 50 people show up, police close the road for 12 hrs, and the truck is considered totaled and goes directly to scrap. If not insured you may end up with 50 -60k bill easily.
It's called being fortunate enough to not live in a third world country. It may take a day to get that POS off the road in the US or Europe, but you can bet it took the better part of a week to repair it on the side of the road. And from what I can see, it doesn't belong on the road.
Having driven in such places, they’ll leave a quarter of those stones and heap of metal trash behind after moving the truck, then another will run into it in the night on the unlit streets, likely killing several. The now moved truck will break down in week and cause another fatal accident. Welcome to the third world.

Yeah. Around here it would be a ten week project and cost tens of thousands of dollars. In countries such as those, we can't even begin to imagine the lack of proper tools and money and resources they work with on a daily basis. And by looks, they did it all in only one day and night. I'm thinking above all else you have to hand it to these guys .. money and specialist tooling is probably a commodity not enjoyed by many . So it's a case of repair as best as possible regardless how many times .the abundance of enthusiasm seems to outweigh a lot of safety skills and good working practices. Gifted to many in the modern world . Basically ya gotta do what ya can with what ya got ...
But not enough skill to not overload it in the first place.

Pretty sure this truck was fixed by them earlier judging by the sloppy weld on the leaf springs - and that's why it broke again with a heavy load.

Judging by all of the bolts and hardware that were sheared the F off, I’d say she was a wee bit overloaded.
i didn't carry that much out of Buxton quarry in one week, i did 4 load a day.
Back to quarry right after this, get another one.
If Pakistan set up government weigh scales they wouldn't make the roads any better but the trucks would last longer & they would be safer too.
P.S. Weigh scales would also give Pakistan some revenue to improve her roads. This 30 tonner would have ranked a very hefty fine.

Amazing is the only words for them. Repairing the whole suspension of the truck by the road side without using a single power/pneumatic tools accept the bottle jack was great.

after heating that spring it looses it temper and will bend again with out hardening it again

@@Slick1G3 The guy is holding it in his bare hands not far from the fire... the temp is too low to cause a loss of the temper... You would need to heat the spring to few hundred degrees->not gonna happen with this tiny fire!

we never do see the truck drive away. Quite the courageous young man there under the truck that is jacked up in the most precarious of ways. Not sure if it's courage, or just being 'not aware' . . . Great determination and effort for sure, good job!

WOW! father & son roadside truck repair! insanely entertaining! 4 jacks, a few wood blocks, 2 crescent wrenches and a half dozen socket wrenches! The kid does most of the work! He'll be a repair beast once he gains 50 pounds :)
It's a whole lot easier to "repair" things if you ignore worker safety, and the structural integrity of the vehicle, along with not fixing the actual damage.
The truck is also obviously crude compared to modern trucks, it's more akin to fixing an oversized version of a simple trailer that you tow behind your car.

Hats off to the tired over worked miracle crew without whom this triple bypass open heart operation just wouldn't be possible. These incredibly brave hearted men who simply just wouldn't let this monstrous beast of a truck gasp its last breath of air and die. It took them almost 2 full days of work, had to pull a overnighter, probably slept like babies on the side of the road. But there tireless work ethic allowed them to pull off the impossible and get this humpty dumpty beast back together again probably for the 20th time, but who's counting. The crack in the axle needs to be extensively reworked at a lathe shop which will probably be done once the truck is in running condition. Although not at all reliable, these Pakistani trucks have proven themselves in their sheer toughness by tackling weight loads of 60 Tons. Truly an astonishing piece of machinery.
Please 🙏🥺🙏🥺 excuse me for saying this. I was scared for the guys working under this truck 🚛. And I respect the guys having to work like they do. And the Law's in the USA.
Would take the truck out of service Because it would never past a DOT Inspection. The truck really needs to be Rebuilt and checked to insure the safety of the driver and the people around him. I pray for him ! Real Talk 101 !!!!! Truth be Told 100!!!

Я на межгороде 3ий десяток, никак немогу понять этих дерьмовозоперегрузов. Ну дали денег на 20т больше, пара колес на взрыв, на весах попал, ментам заплатил, расход топлива увеличен, а главное, мешает ехать всем, особенно в горах и весь негатив собирает. Результат не нулевой, а отрицательный. Бизнес по русски!

Данный говногрузовик был рассчитан на 3-3.5т они же возят в среднем по 15-20т на ось, итог на видео, у них я так думаю оплата с веса, а не с рейса,

It is as easy as that: when it breaks completely, they'll just fit an axle from another vehicle which was completely beyond repair. Nothing gets lost.
The scariest part here is they are still ignoring the frame cracks while repairing the truck 5:47, 5:56, 7:40.

It is possible that this is a temp repair. The truck then goes back to the workshop to replace or repair more parts. The most scary part is get under the truck knowing it may tumble down at any time

@@DrummerJacob a crane, moving bits of it with a HIAB truck, winch truck etc. There are many different and safe solutions, moving that thing on its own wheels in that state is very irresponsible. It's possible to move it on a wheelbarrow but it's not something that comes up to your mind first.
I'll give that young kid credit, he is in there. Also, I want know a time line, how long did this take?

Compliments to these people for ingenuity, gritt and great work ethics. We also had people like that in Europe in the 60's -'70's.
Now on wreck like that 5 cranes and 50 people show up, police close the road for 12 hrs, and the truck is considered totaled and goes directly to scrap. If not insured you may end up with 50 -60k bill easily.
And rightly it should be scrap. That thing will be bent to hell and back
thats how stuff was repaired back in 1920, they are severly behind on ingenuity.
It's called being fortunate enough to not live in a third world country. It may take a day to get that POS off the road in the US or Europe, but you can bet it took the better part of a week to repair it on the side of the road. And from what I can see, it doesn't belong on the road.
Having driven in such places, they’ll leave a quarter of those stones and heap of metal trash behind after moving the truck, then another will run into it in the night on the unlit streets, likely killing several. The now moved truck will break down in week and cause another fatal accident. Welcome to the third world.
