Hats off to the tired over worked miracle crew without whom this triple bypass open heart operation just wouldn't be possible. These incredibly brave hearted men who simply just wouldn't let this monstrous beast of a truck gasp its last breath of air and die. It took them almost 2 full days of work, had to pull a overnighter, probably slept like babies on the side of the road. But there tireless work ethic allowed them to pull off the impossible and get this humpty dumpty beast back together again probably for the 20th time, but who's counting. The crack in the axle needs to be extensively reworked at a lathe shop which will probably be done once the truck is in running condition. Although not at all reliable, these Pakistani trucks have proven themselves in their sheer toughness by tackling weight loads of 60 Tons. Truly an astonishing piece of machinery.

You can see that the carriage bolts and other forged connections were literally pulled apart. That takes a tremendous amount of force. It looks like an equally grossly overloaded tire blew out, causing the truck to lean, which tweaked the frame and caused the cascading failures that made it tip over.
That truck has no business carrying even a quarter the load of stone that it was carrying.
Drivers over there grossly overload their trucks all the time to make fewer trips and more money, at the cost of safety and reliability.

Their well co-ordinated action, their observations, their logic, their musical harmonious motion, and the drop of that hammer, their added momentum when they need more force, THEIR TEAM WORK, all this show the qualities of very intelligent people who can improvise with what they have available. hile they worked I had my eyes on the centre of gravity of that truck being held on the small footprints of those hydraulic and screw jacks. That was marginal stability to have all those people working under.
It is clear to me, that the load on that truck was much too elevated and the centre of gravity was very high It looks like when the load oscillated laterally one suspension gave way and it looks like the front steering.
That truck must have been loaded with 30 to 40 Ton of what looks like marble gravel to me, I admire their intelligence, they need to work, they know what they are doing, they work at a very fast rate considering that I come from Europe and that truck would have been scrapped. I do not agree with most of the repair they make, but under their conditions I do understand.

I have been fixing trucks for fifty years now, and I have never seen a truck lose all three axles and all six springs in an accident. There was so much damage to this truck, I can't begin to figure out what happened? I lot of damage was due to prior repairs failing. I was suprised when they used a new ubolt, instead of straightening the old one. To say it was "bent like a pretzel" is an understatement. Well anyway, good job fellas, that's the way to Improvise, Adapt, and Overcome.....I think! Doh!

All these truck are made from unknown scrap. Casted in dirt, hand welded with unknown temperatures and materials... then crashed, repaired, crashed, repaired.... and it repeat till they can't be repaired so they are recycled and new truck is made from it. Just look at other videos where they repair cars and car parts and you understand how fragile these things has to be. Sad is that they have no other way.

These trucks were built in England at the Vauxhall Motors plant, definitely not out of unknown scrap. Theyre Bedford model trucks that would have been imported in the years just before India gained its independence from England and split into India/Pakistan, some time around the mid 1940s.@@thePavuk
