@@ireland_european_railways_zp The driver is my Dad and he's been at this a very long time hahaha, he could probably drive them in his sleep🤣Glad you got to experience a day with him
That empty timber train was coming from waterford not clonmel.
nice did the driver let u in the cab?
Yes but it was a one off 😀
Did anyone see the train got through a red signal at 4:18
believe me if it was a red he'd got a call straight away saying to stop the train
It's a repeater signal for HK210 (note the name HK R210 on the sign below the lights), which is the one at 6:36. Passing a repeater isn't considered a SPAD as it's just informing you of what's up ahead. HK210 went amber by the time he got there.
Is this train a passenger train or something different
Yes it was a passenger train 😀
IE 22000 Class
Did anyone see the train went through a red signal at 4:48
That was not a red signal it was a single yellow at the distant signal for Kildare the driver is slowing for the stop signal.
That signal in question (HK R 210) is a repeater signal. It is used to mirror the corresponding signal (HK 210 at 6:36 in this case) aspect to give early notice to the driver. They are not block signals and therefore only relay the aspect. HK 210 was red at the time of passing the repeater but was changed to caution by the time the 22k reached it.
