    I've been a stylist for 31years and I used this product regularly on clients. I'm proud to be called "old school" So happy that you found this product. It's great but a little tricky to apply. Try mixing equal parts in a spray bottle. That makes it a bit easier. Also mix and match with the other colors they have. No damage and super fun. Great video! ✂

      That is such a great idea - thank you! I only tried once and thought it was rather messy, so came on here to see how others apply it. Thanks for the tip!

    I have been using this product for a few years now. I was a brunette and when it started going grey I used dyes and was very allergic and my scalp was so sore. Fanciful is so easy and I love how it just tones down the grey to leave a lovely soft colour. I recommend this product

    Fanci-ful is an incredible product. Such a relief to find something to tone down my brassy brunette dye. The black one is best for toning brass in brunette hair.

    I actually used this product years ago. My hair is really damaged and I am going to try it over the blonde. I hope that it turns out as nice as yours. Love your haircut! Thanks for sharing 😊

    I'm glad to hear it doesn't come off on your hands just by touching (when it's dry). I currently have vibrant hair color, and got an interview for a job that doesn't allow it. I really didn't want to permanently color brown in case I don't receive a job offer. This seemed like a good option to at least get through the interview, but I was worried if it would rub off as my blouse is a light color.

    Omg! Thank you so much for this video. I got a really bad dye job at the salon. And I hate it. I have to wait 2 weeks before it can be corrected. I went from blonde highlights to red "fire truck Red" hair!! I'm so embarrassed to have anyone see me this way. I'm gonna try to use fancy full to make it look darker brown.

    haha! This is great! I dyed my hair for new years and now I'm job hunting. Don't really want to do that with purple hair! XD I remembered seeing this product at hair stores when I was a kid and was always told it was a useless dye. Well I find it VERY USEFUL and I'm glad I remembered this product existed and get to enjoy my wacky do AND look professional enough for an interview. Thanks for reviewing this product!

    oh and I meant to ask, when your roots grew in, did it work OK, did it blend in and how did you go about it? Love your hair color now. I am trying to tame orangey honey when I asked the hairdresser for mahogany dubonnet color highlights so lucky to experiment with a few tries but WM only has fawn and dark brown.

    I tried dying my hair silver with the ion titanium but it made my hair look navy blue with tints of green. Does anyone know how I can fix this? I don't want to take out the color and redo it because my hair is so damaged. Do I just redye it with the silver dye over the green tints? Please help

  • @liarluis

    Do the dyes tint your bleached hair? As in when you use a dark/medium brown, do these temporary dyes leave a green tint to really bleached/blonde hair when used often?

    • @somegirljesskent
      @somegirljesskent  8 лет назад +1

      I've never used them on bleached blonde hair! Only my natural dark blonde roots growing in - but it didn't stick to that. I want to say that no, it won't stick to bleached hair, but I think it depends on your hair and also the colour you're using. I think if you had blonde hair, and you are using a silver or light colour of this fanci-full, then it would probably be fine. But if you have bleached hair and you're using a black or super dark brown, it's possible it would leave a stain for a couple days until it eventually washed out. You should try doing a strand test first before you do your whole head :)

      I have really blonde/bleached hair and I use the true steel (and I love it). But some days I want to have natural looking dark hair and I've looked on the internet to see if anyone has used the medium/dark brown on bleached/white/blonde hair. Apparently no one has done it because I couldn't find anything on it. Everyone says it might tinge your hair green but never mention if the green is permanent or not.

    hey Jess! I know this is an oldie, but I recently picked up this product in the color True Steel! My plan is to bleach only the ends of my hair so that my cool toned brunette hair fades into the grey. Do you have any tips on application? The liquid consistency and bottle applicator is freaking me out and I feel like i'm wasting more of this product because of the bottle applicator. Do you think this would work better if poured into a spray bottle?
    xx

      @OhhSnap03 7 лет назад +1

      Aw man! I'm in the US and I picked it up at Sally's. It's a product that wasn't available to be shipped, sort of like how you can't ship hair spray, so I had to go in store to purchase it. (but unfortunately, I always have a bad experience in stores). If you lived near by, I'd give you both my bottles for free, because I didn't like them lol

    Old lady hair color? My friends and I used it on brown hair in the 60's, for an auburn look. But, now that I am an OLD LADY, I use charcoal sidewalk caulk on my platinum roots for depth and to look thicker. I decided to try " FanciFull instead, as soon as it arrives.

    i have a quick question, im at a bleached blond at the moment and if i were to use this on my hair would it stain it at all or permanently like would i have to rebleach it again or does it completly wash out ? i wanna get this and try balayage roots with the product while my roots grow out but if this product stains i dont want to risk purchaseing it.your opinion would be much appriciated

    • @somegirljesskent
      @somegirljesskent  7 лет назад +1

      Madison Clarke it could stain very light hair! It depends on how bleached and damaged it is..the drier/more damaged/more porous your hair is, the more it will stain. It's not supposed to stain but I would definitely be cautious. It's hard to say for sure but if I was you, I wouldn't risk it. I don't think you'd have to bleach your hair again or anything but I do think it could take more than a couple washes to completely get rid of the staining (if it stained at all)

      Madison Clarke I'm a stylist for 31 years. I use this product regularly. It washes out every time you shampoo. Also you can tone out any yellow or brassy tones as well. Get the White Minks or the Silver lining for your bleached parts. Since it does wash out you can play around with some of the other colors they have with no commitment. 😀 If you find it a bit hard to remove, just take some baking soda in your hand with some shampoo and scrub the color out. It'll feel very dry so follow up with your conditioner. Very easy way to detox you hair and scalp.

    I literally just came home from the hair salon. My hair looked fine while I was sitting there staring at it but now that I'm home I can see it throughly better. I was going for a purple dye and the stylist gave me violet. I was fine with it, she fucked up, whatever. But she didn't color my roots in or underneath my hair or just all the black (I had blond hair but it was fading so much you could see the black) in general. She just went right to dying without retouching anything. I'm pissed but my social phobia won't let me go back. ㅠㅠ I almost cried I don't even want to look at it. Lifting it I can see the black roots and overall it's a mess. I'm going to try this because my hair is getting damaged with all the dying I've done to it. Thank you! ^^

    I'm literally on the same boat as you. I bleached my hair and dyed it brown, which didn't turn out as even as I would like it to be. I now have my ash blonde roots coming in and it looks horrible! I'll definitely try purchasing this product and see how well it covers my room.
    My hair is also too damaged to dye it again :(
